Renegaze is a virtual, global girl group with the theme "Breaking Free". Each member has a specific thing in their life they'd like to break free from (pressures, self doubt, etc) that performing provides. Members represent themselves with an animal-based character virtually, and upon the group's success will eventually perform live and in-person together on one stage, "breaking free" from the digital world.
We are looking for 2 New Members hoping to fill the other half of the group, rounding us out to four members total. Please read the differences in the description for each vocalist position and audition for the spot that feels right to you!
Requirements for All Auditions:Singing is a requirement for this group. Please do not audition if you have hesitations on singing or recording your vocals.
This group will host virtual events similar to meet and greets, talk shows, etc. on group social media. Please refrain from auditioning if this makes you uncomfortable.
Make sure you can record with decent to high audio quality for originals and covers.
Please be prepared to be an active participant in the group should you be accepted - upon acceptance there will be a lot of work to do to prepare for the debut single!
Please be at least 18 years of age or older. All current members are in their mid-20s and the group's image is more mature/sexy-confidence, so this is for safety and comfort!
Please have Discord for contact and the ability to upload files to Google Drive. These will be our main platforms to work off of for file sharing and discussion.
Anyone comfortable with femme-presenting is encouraged to participate. Trans/NB voices are welcomed as long as they are comfortable presenting as feminine for the group.
FOR STAFF: Please leave some form of payment range for your work, otherwise your submission may be rejected! You will be a regular staff member and will be paid your rates per song you work on, and this takes the guesswork out of everything.
choose a song that showcases your abilities best! Are you aiming to be our lead rapper? Show off your flow alongside your singing! Are you aiming to be our main vocalist? Showcase your range and technique!
the more information you put in the text portion of your audition, the better! don't be afraid to show your personality in it, the "star quality" and audience presence of the group is just as important as the skill!
if you have experience being in groups in the past (cover groups, theatre, anything), mention it! teamwork is super important!

There's potential for 2 vocalists and 1 rapper slot, so make sure you put your best foot forward! Any audition can be resubmitted at any time should you find yourself improving, so keep sending them in and share to anyone you think has the star quality to be our missing link!
Our third singer for the group. In this role we're looking for lower singing voices OR those desiring the Main Vocalist role. Those wishing for the Main Vocalist role should be prepared for more demanding vocal sections and ad-lib ability.

Our fourth singer for the group. In this role we're looking for lower singing voices OR those desiring the Lead Rapper role. Those wishing for the Lead Rapper role should be able to showcase both vocal ability and good flow when rapping.

Timing of vocals is handled internally, but we will need someone available for tuning and final mastering of original and cover tracks.

We will need someone to create the toplines for our songs so lyrics can be written. All original songs will require at minimum: Main Melody, Harmony, Ad Libs. Experience with rap additions encouraged!
