About Ron Gabaldon

Former TV producer, writer, and actor, currently exploring stage and voice acting. I've been a part of local sketch comedy groups, self-produced variety and interview shows for years and have appeared in stage performances with NoHo's Force Of Nature Productions, one in which I was nominated, along with my castmates for a Valley Theater Award portraying mad King Lear in the comedy "Romeo and Juliet Go To Hell."

My voice is in the mid to high range and for some reason I still sound a lot younger than my age, although I can vary the quality from booming old man to high nasally nerd, and have a number of accents at my disposal. I excel at developing character voices, bringing a lot of my own intuition and personality to any story. For straight narration I keep excellent diction and steady clarity while still carrying a conversational tone.

Since we all seem to be working from home, I have created a nice sound booth to record from and have produced some quality samples for ACX audiobooks, pieces of which you can hear on my demo reel.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile. I look forward to working on some fun and interesting projects through this community!

Ron is a veteran of the stage and he's skill has transitioned into the VA world. He is a pleasure to work with and he is very talented. He has great range and has me cracking up with his improv. He always turns in his lines on time and he has great sound quality. He's a great VA to have on any production and hopefully anyone casting reads this recommendation

Ron plays the main protagonist within my movie, The Hitchhiker's Guide To Vana'diel I choose Ron initially as he was able to deliver his lines in a very clear and understandable manner. My movie was to target multiple countries so this was important. But I was surprised with how well Ron delivered the lines for Ardile, Ron was able to add the young enthusiastic spirit of Ardile while also adding emotional weight to some of the more impactive scenes. Ron was also very kind in delivering extra lines when asked for, on multiple occasions due to errors from my script. I found working with Ron very pleasant and he helped create the movie I will now go on to treasure, I would fully recommend this guy.
