Havoc Fox: Grey the Fox [EMERGENCY RECAST]
Project Overview
Havoc Fox is an action platformer drawing inspiration from series such as Megaman and Freedom Planet. We are in need of a new voice actor for one of the two main playable characters, Grey the Fox, as the current VA is leaving due to personal reasons I will not be detailing.

This role is going to be UNPAID for the FIRST RECORDINGS ONLY as we weren't prepared for a sudden recast and mass re - recording of a fairly large part of our script so soon before our planned Kickstarter. These recordings will be under a bit of a tight deadline (currently early July) and will require a versatile and punctual actor. There will be around 150 lines we will record, not including attack/hurt grunts - up to the completion of Level 3 in the game.
After all of Grey's voice lines that are needed for our Kickstarter demo are complete, and after the conclusion of said Kickstarter, the cast actor WILL be compensated and will continue to be paid for any future work regardless of the campaign's success.
Please have a good mic with no background noise and decent clarity. Both USB and XLR are allowed.
(Note: If the campaign does not succeed, payment may be slower likely on a per-month basis via Patreon funding.)
It's highly preferred, but not mandatory, that you have Discord so that I am able to add you to our development/community server and more easily keep you up to date with progress.

Grey is a bit of a hesitant guy due to having amnesia, but he shows a lot of determination to get to the bottom of who he used to be and to help his newfound friends save their home. He should sound like the usual teen-hero protagonist in a way, but not overly cocky. Try to sound more down-to-earth and perhaps even tired - the poor guy just woke up an hour before fighting off a giant evil murder swan, after all. I'm down to hear anything you'd think would fit this, just try not to sound too deep. A good example of a base voice to try putting your own spin on would be Revali, from the Legend of Zelda.
At later points in the story, you should be able to show more emotion as Grey matures emotionally and becomes more invested in the fate of the kingdom. There will be angry and emotional lines, possibly tears.
[Angry] "You call that "good fun"!? You were definitely trying to hurt us!"
[Casual / Explanation] "That's why I'm here. It's a long story, but the king has gone mad with power. The Sentries are under his control and are attacking the kingdom."
Some attack grunts for sword attacks, like "Hyah!" "Ha!" and some hurt grunts for when the player is hit by an enemy. Feel free to go as wild as you like.
