Rush Casting - Mask the Prologue (Digital Film Short)
Project Overview
Mask the Prologue is a digital, pre-musical short accepted into the Rogue Festival digital showcase to be presented at the Flea Theater in NYC.
Your face WILL be on camera.
Set in the world of Re:Wind, the story follows Stella Devigne and her friends as they pursue music, friendship, and self-expression while facing pressure from an industry that wants them to change who they are.
We are currently seeking actors and singers for principal and supporting roles. Strong acting ability, clean audio, and collaborative communication are highly valued. While remote performers are welcome, we are especially interested in Los Angeles-based talent for potential in-person filming opportunities.
Location: Remote (Worldwide) with preference for Los Angeles-based performers.
This project has been accepted into the Rogue Festival digital showcase and is operating on an accelerated production schedule.
Casting is being finalized immediately. Read-throughs, direction sessions, and production planning will begin as soon as roles are cast. Recording and filming will take place throughout June 2026, with scheduling coordinated based on performer availability.
Due to festival deadlines, applicants should be comfortable with prompt communication and a fast turnaround. Remote recording is acceptable for most roles. Actors should have access to a clean recording environment and reliable audio equipment.

Yumi is ambitious, determined, and fiercely loyal to her friends. She believes change only happens when people are willing to act and often serves as the group’s driving force. Quick-witted, sarcastic, and emotionally honest, she pushes others to be better while hiding her own frustrations beneath the surface.
Looking for a strong actor with good comedic timing and emotional range. Contemporary musical theater, pop, or pop-rock singing experience is a plus.
