The project this time is for a fun little series that I plan on continuing. This mod title is Encounters of The Mojave - Highway 95 South, aimed to bring scripted encounters to the southern part of Highway 95 in Fallout: New Vegas to make the world feel more alive. This will be an ongoing project, with several mods planned in the future to cover other areas of the map in the hopes of having the entire map covered in the future.

VOICE REQUIREMENTS
- Multiple takes are encouraged (2-3) for each audition line but NOT required!
- You must follow the voicing instructions crystal clearly. Any audition with mess-ups on specific instructions w/o any attempts to fix WILL BE disqualified.
- Must not be afraid to get vulgar or loud!
- Sometimes you will be cussing too. If you are uncomfortable with that, then I can say that, unfortunately, this project is not for you. :(
Audition Requirements:
-Crisp, clean audio. No hums*, pops, hisses, or background noise. Any audition with these found inside WILL BE disqualified!
*Hums, if distant enough to be hardly noticeable, can pass auditioning ONLY if the voice actor can remove them when asked.
-Show emotion! Any audition without emotion or effort WILL BE disqualified!
- Communication can be conducted through Discord or CCC.
- MOST roles will have between 1 and 10 lines each. Some will have over twenty, however.
-Have fun!
If you are disqualified, feel free to re-audition! There is no negativity here, only positivity and room for improvement!

As the title states, I'm going through the remaining auditions over the course of the next few days. I was gonna do it yesterday night but a storm hit and it caused disruptions to my wifi. As it stands, I'd rather not get overwhelmed by talking to a dozen of VAs all at once. Stay tuned to see who gets cast!

Vagrants are listless wanderers of the Wasteland. Sometimes they have nothing to say, and others times they are stark crazy. This one is no different.
This Vagrant is met on Highway 95 South, and when interacted with, will spout nonsense about aliens.

Oh, hi. How do you do? What's going on? Howdy. All that nonsense. Now answer the damn question!
Travelers are more sophisticated Wastelanders. Often originating from the lands of the NCR, they have come to the Mojave to seek their fortune - often at the gates of New Vegas.
This Traveler was captured by a group of Raiders. Intending to ransom her back to her wealthy cohorts, it is revealed they never even wrote the ransom note to begin with. If the Player does not intervene, they will let her go out of both embarrassment and an unwillingness to end someone's life.

I never actually had a fear for my life there. Those idiots had no idea what they were doing.
Wastelanders are the general inhabitants of the Mojave Wasteland. They perform a variety of roles, from merchants and caravan guards to scavengers and scientists. Generally local, they have a certain distaste for the invading armies from the NCR and Legion.
This Wastelander is a scientist who has found a stockpile of radioactive barrels. Ecstatic that he can continue his experiments on radiation, he soon realizes he has a leak in his radiation suit, and soon dies to exposure.

These barrels will serve my experiments well.
Caravaneers are people who run caravans across the Wasteland, bringing goods and trade to various settlements and backwaters.
This Caravaneer has stopped on Highway 95 South with his guards due to the Brahmin going lame. With no way to help the creature, and Legion rumored to be lurking nearby, they kill the Brahmin and flee to avoid being crucified.
So, what do you suggest we do then? The Brahmin's gone lame and there's rumors of Legion activity in the area.
Goddamn Brahmin's been a pain in my ass since New Canaan.
That Brahmin costed me a pretty cap...
Caravan Guards are the main protectors of the various Caravans that run the Wasteland. Without them, many Caravans would fall prey to the various predatory factions that roam the Wasteland.
This Caravan Guard is traveling with the Caravaneer, when the Brahmin goes lame. With no alternative left, and Legion rumored to be lurking nearby, she shoots it to allow the Caravan to travel faster and get away from the contested lands.
Move along.
Let's see. The Brahmin's gone lame and we're miles away from the nearest town. I'd say we just kill it and get out of here.
If we take the Brahmin with us, it'll slow us down. We'll be caught by Legion before we realize it. No. We gotta put it outta it's misery.
Raiders are the general banditry of the Wasteland. Ruthless, harsh, and hungry to inflict pain and misery on others, Raiders are a plague that are hostile to many factions. No less the NCR and the Legion.
This Raider has kidnapped Kidnapped Traveler alongside his cohorts, and acts as a lookout. When the Player arrives, he warns the Player to keep their distance, but that's about it. He isn't really willing to kill anyone.

This Raider has kidnapped Kidnapped Traveler alongside his cohorts, and acts as the ringleader. When the Player arrives, he is arguing with his friend of their ineptitude during the kidnapping, and ultimately decides to let the victim go, unwilling to kill them.

This NCR Ranger was asleep during the attack on Ranger Station Charlie. Getting up during the chaos, she was shot and left for dead by Legion forces. Upon the Player's arrival, she will have lost too much blood and succumbs to her wounds, unless the Player decides to put her out of her misery as she requests.
