Deep Inertia - M/F Roles
Project Overview
Deep Inertia is an decision based narrative game with linear progression that changes depending on the choices you make. It’s completely hand modeled, painted and textured and will be multi-platform. You play as John Renton, an antagonized and tortured scientist working for the President of the United States. The game follows John as he uncovers the mystery behind a discovery made deep underground in the middle of Central America. The player is forced to choose, based on their own moral compass, the decisions that will affect interactions, friendships and outcome of the story.

Blind follower of the rules, rank and file, 'military family' person, aggressive but easy to placate.

“Well, Peterson just went on his break. He can be a real bastard, so don’t give him any trouble and you’ll have your pass in no time. Also, he’s a real stickler for the work-life balance. If you’re expecting anything in a hurry, he’s going to want something in return.” (Neutral)
“I’m talking to someone who doesn’t have their ID pass securely fastened to their belt or attached to their military issue lanyard. Do I look like I give a fuck who you are, civi?” (Annoyance)
"ID pass, please" (paused) “Alright, you’re clear to enter. General Winchester is probably at the mouth of the site, around the bend and through the big tent.”
Arrogant, entitled, aggressive but intelligent. Thinks he is owed everything because of his service to his country. Racist tendencies.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Renton. So pleased you could join us.” (Neutral)
“I have taken personal responsibility to ensure this site is adequately protected, fortified and locked down.” (Neutral)
“You don’t say, Mr. Renton. Today just isn’t your day, is it? How about you stop whining long enough to give me the geological
analysis?” (Annoyed)
Helpful, 'Military family' but welcoming,

“Doctor Renton, I presume. Welcome to site SIERRA HOTEL. Your tent is still being constructed. For now, General Winchester is waiting for you on the other side. You will need to pass through checkpoint ALPHA before proceeding. Standard procedure stuff. Follow the road around and you’ll find him near the opening after the tent.”
“Sorry, doc, those are my orders. If you have any complaints, you’ll need to direct those to General Winchester.” (Slight annoyance)
“Glad to be of some help. Oh, and doctor, here’s a map of the SIERRA HOTEL site. Might come in handy." (Neutral)
“Just a sec, please. I’m configuring the open channel before comms blackout… aaand we’re online. Sorry about that. How can I help you?” (Friendly)
“Ah, you need Peterson. He just went on his smoke break. Should be able to find him near the helipad.” (Friendly)
“Check your attitude at the door, pal. You don’t have stock here. Peterson is the only one who can issue a pass.” (Annoyed)
