Hello, I’m Michael Schoonover — also known as The Voice Sorcerer.

I don’t just read scripts. I turn words into something people actually want to listen to. Whether it’s an audiobook that keeps someone hooked chapter after chapter, or a character that feels alive in an audio drama, I aim to make the story land emotionally.

I’ve narrated several small audiobooks and performed in independent audio drama projects — both completed roles and ones still in progress. I’ve got classical training and years of real-world experience, but what I really bring to a project is someone who genuinely cares about the story and the listener. I take direction well, I’m reliable, and I enjoy the collaborative side of this work.

I can deliver warm, engaging narration as well as distinct character voices across fantasy, drama, and contemporary styles. My goal is always the same: to serve the story and connect with the audience in a way that feels natural and alive.
