Project Overview
Hello! My name is Rowan, I'm a digital artist/writer who's decided to make a RPG! This is a passion project of mine still in very early development, and things are bound to change and be shifted around, but I'd love to have some help :)
ABOUT
Bittersweet is a psychological horror RPG following the story of Hanami Akiyama, a young adult who finds herself going back to her hometown to discover the truth of her little brother's missing case. As she struggles through the insanity and acceptance, she is met with the ghosts of her past, her old friends. Will she find out the truth? Or will the pain be too much to bear?
RULES
For this project, I will need coders, asset makers, pixel sprite makers, and more. Here are some of my rules/qualifications:
- You will need to be 14+
- Beginners are welcome!
- This is a commitment, please do not apply if you're planning on leaving
- Please be respectful and kind to everyone
- Must have either discord or an email I can contact you with (include in application)
PAYMENT
I will have a fundraiser for this project. Until I raise enough to pay you, I will not ask you to work on the project. Keep in mind, this game is in VERY early development. Just a little reminder: YOU WILL NOT BE WORKING ON THE PROJECT UNTIL YOU ARE PAYED.

Hanami Akiyama is a 21 year old college student from Finnsley, WA. After graduating high school, she left without a word to her friends, chasing after her dreams in a last shred of hope to remain sane. Hanami is confident, strong, and snarky. Yet, when her brother went missing, her mental health affected her personality and well-being greatly. She now remains quiet, reserved, snappy, and blunt.
I hate to inform you, but we used to be friends. Now leave me alone.

Quinn Wiltshire is a 19 year old college dropout from Finnsley, WA. After dropping out of college, Quinn now works for his grandfather in their local flower shop. Quinn is kind, yet after Haruki went missing, he now remains resentful and angry, though he tries his best to conceal it.

Alyssa Elsher is a 20 year old college student from Finnsley, WA. After graduating high school, Raine started taking classes at the local community college, wanting to stay close to home despite her childhood hatred towards the town. Raine is aggressive, resentful, easily irritated, but caring.
