They say most people dislike their voice, and boy was that right for me. I used to cover my ears whenever I had to do announcements over the loudspeakers at work for example. And the change, that dramatic shift that allowed me to shake my anxiety? Finding my voice. Through mimicking automated messages that played regularly at work, I was getting more positive feedback than ever about my voice. I ended up changing my greeting to give off more and better energy, and people started welcoming me into the store when they came in. All of that positive energy and support behind me gaining traction in the VO industry has lead me to the confidence that I now have today. Any way that I can further myself in this field and land work, I’ll keep at it not only for myself, but for all the people that believe in me!
