Zavier Iago Alcazar is a complex character with a mysterious past. He is a brilliant inventor and industrialist, driven by a deep-seated obsession. Born in 1878 in Spain, he has a troubled early life and a unique connection to an enigmatic "in-between reality" known as "The Backrooms."
He would move to the US and establish 'Alcazar Industries' - a government-contracted company that researched and pursued exploration of The Backrooms.
Physically, Alcazar is an imposing figure, standing at 6'4" with a pale complexion, green-grey eyes, and a distinctive red lab coat. He has a sickly appearance with coffee-stained teeth and dark circles around his eyes.
In terms of personality, Alcazar is a man of contradictions. He exhibits arrogance, impatience, and a quick temper, but underneath, he carries a deep sense of guilt and a desire to make a positive impact on the world. He believes that The Backrooms hold the key to unlocking a greater purpose.

At 18 years old, Benjamin was a Delivery Boy, working hard to save for college and pursue his dream of becoming an artist. His life took an unexpected turn when he was thrust him into an unknown reality, the Backrooms, a place where he'd be trapped alone for over 60 years.
Physically, Benjamin is an ordinary young man with an average build. His appearance reflects the hardships he has faced, including misaligned teeth and limited dental care.
Benjamin's personality is multifaceted. Despite his challenging upbringing, he possesses remarkable creativity, which is reflected in his deep interest in puzzles and mazes. His past experiences have left him with intense abandonment issues, which affect his emotional states, leading to sadness, stress, anger, and reluctance.

Dr. Reine is a character who carries the weight of her life's work in the field of applied chemistry. In the 1970s, she was recruited by the enigmatic Zavier Alcazar a high-paying position at Alcazar Industries, ultimately becoming the Lead Chemical Engineer in 1974.
Her story takes a dramatic turn in 1978 when she joins an Alcazar Exploration team that ventured into the mysterious Backrooms, where she would encounter a monster - which she calls SUBJECT ZERO. Subject Zero is eventually captured by her fellow explorers and subjected to inhumane treatment, a source of deep guilt for Reine.
Her character is that of a compassionate and intelligent scientist, dedicated to her work and driven by a desire to make the world a better place.
