Hello! My name is Pedro Rovina. I am a Brazilian filmmaker, actor and artist currently studying and working in the UK. I am passionate about storytelling and to learn about the several techniques used to tell different stories. I’ve spent most of my life learning how to do so through the ability to draw, act, write and to create short films and other projects. To me, stories can embrace our creative side and impact our perspective on life in a positive way.
Through this course, I've learned how to create your own self-tape, how to find a natural performance for Film and TV and how to dissect a script to discover the character's goals, desires and personality.
In a period of one semester, we learned all the three basic skills for a musical theatre actor. First we learned how to perform and find the right energy for a musical even when you are not dancing or singing. The we learned how to dance and how to properly use the stage to benefit on your own choreographies. And lastly we learned singing techniques and how to sing by using your natural speaking voice.
I am whiling to work for free to just have fun, meet new people and gain experience. But I also accept any payment for paid roles.
My main goal is to find any voice acting roles for me, specially the ones which include cartoon characters. But I'm also someone looking for new challenges as a director, writer and visual artist.

Voiced both Snips and Snails for my project, Mark of Inspiration. Did a wonderful job differentiating the voices and doing retakes as requested! Has an excellent goofy laugh.

Pedro is without a doubt one of the best creative collaborators you ever hope to work with! I've worked with him as a fellow VA performer and also on projects that he's spearheaded and produced. In all cases, he is very professional, courteous, and excellent communicator, and very versatile in his own vocal performances. I can't stress enough that I recommend working with him as either a project leader or having him do voice work on your own projects, as he's a true professional and a great guy to boot.

I have worked with Pedro a few times, but he always knocks it out of the park! Has a lot of range as characters he can be, is very efficient at communicating with the cast behind his projects, regularly giving updates and is just overall fun to be around. I cannot recommend him enough, as Pedro is a great director, an excellent performer and overall a really nice person.

Pedro is great to work with! I've worked with him for a while on a comic dub project of his and he is always very professional and kind as a director! He's also a fantastic actor with great range and a lot of energy! I would definitely recommend Pedro for potential projects (:
