Stable owner (Australian male)

Unpaid
Role assigned to: TaylorW

The stable owner is in his 40s and is from Australia. He has been placed in stocks for committing a crime, and angry at the person who put him there. He’s impatient but very keen for revenge once it is offered.

No fake accents - Aussies only please

  • Stable owner: Look at him over there, strutting around with his fancy hair and clean clothes, thinks he’s so…

(he realises the player is listening to his mumblings)

Stable owner: Hmm? What do you want? (as if he was rudely interrupted)

  • Guy: You seem pretty annoyed at that guy over there.

Stable owner: Why wouldn’t I be!? He’s the reason I’m stuck in this contraption! Anyway, mind your business! This is my stable, find someone else to gawk at!

Town prostitute (Australian female)
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: aimeesmithva

The role DOES NOT require any talk about sexual activities, sexual noises etc. She is a prostitute, but she is only being used to help the player advance in the story by tricking somebody else into appearing somewhere (for a quest). What you see below is about as far as it goes when it comes to being a prostitute.

The prostitute is in her mid 20s. She is Australian. She’s selling a service so she’s obviously very courteous, even if she doesn’t mean it. Everything she says is supposed to come off as seductive, up until payment is discussed in the second meeting. At that point she starts to sound more natural as the act fades away. She believes the player is hiring her for a sexual act when she’s actually being used to lure a guard somewhere for the player’s benefit. ‘Sir Davo’ is pronounced ‘Sir Dayvo’, not ‘Davvo’

  • Guy: Hi. I was wondering if you could do me a favour.

Blonde: I’m full of favours! What’d you have in mind? (seductive)

Guy: Sir Davo over there, I need you to take him somewhere secluded.

Blonde: *Giggles* - and then what? (seductive)

Guy: Blindfold him, take his clothes off and then wait for me.

Blonde: Oooh! I can do that... but... it’s double the price for the two of you. (seductive)

Guy: Yeah, well, there’s the thing… I don’t really have any money on me. I was hoping I could help you out in some other way.

Sir Davo (Russian male)
closed
Unpaid
cast offsite

Sir Davo is a Russian elite guard in his late 30s. He doesn't need to speak Russian, but he requires a Russian accent. He considers most people to be below him. He’s arrogant and rude. He should sound as if he’s from the upper class. ‘Sir Davo’ is pronounced ‘Sir Dayvo’, not ‘Davvo’. His actual name is ‘Dauid’ but the locals prefer something easier.

  • Guy: Hello.

    Davo: Do I know you?

Guy: I doubt it, I was just wondering if--

    Davo: Wonder elsewhere, peasant.

  • Davo: As stimulating as this is, malishka, why don’t you untie me? I am a lot less apprehensive!

Russian magistrate (male)

Unpaid

The magistrate is a Russian male. He is in charge of the town and everybody in it. He has a Russian accent when he speaks English.

  • Magistrate: Good evening David. Your watch end hours ago, why are you here? (Russian)

Guy: Uh… hello, I have to be going. (poor Russian accent, in English)

Magistrate: Dauid? Is something wrong? (Russian)

Guy: I am very busy, no time to chat.

Magistrate: Stop there! (English) Who is that? You are not David. Explain yourself at once!

Vegetable seller (Australian female)

Unpaid
Role assigned to: aimeesmithva

The vegetable/meat seller is in her 50s, she is Australian. She’s trying to sell her wares and doesn’t like people wasting her time. The lines above are all that is needed for this character.

  • Guy: Hello

VM seller: A prawn'll get you any of these veges. Steaks, sausages and bacon are a banjo and the leg's a lobster. What'll it be?

Guy: I don’t understand anything you just said.

VM seller: Get out of here! (she’s angry as he appears to be wasting her time)

Fruit seller (Australian female)
open
Unpaid

The fruit seller is an Australian female in her late 30s. The lines above are all that I need for this character, it's very minor.

  • Guy: Hi there, do you have any pineapples?

    Seller: Sure do, want one?

    Guy: I’d love one.

Seller: Take it, as a ‘thanks’ for killing that creature under the bridge.

    Guy: Really? Thank you.

Drug Dealer (Australian male)
open
Unpaid

The drug dealer is an Australian male in his 40s. He’s very rough around the edges. ‘Zymvial’ is a drug. It is pronounced ‘zim-vee-ul’. The ‘ul’ is like the ul in ‘dull’. It is said at a normal pace though, no need to break it up like that.

There are around 12 lines for this character, the demo line above is the longest, the rest are fairly short.

  • Dealer: Okay big guy, at the entrance of the town there’s a guard, Shane. He used to help me smuggle certain ingredients into town, but then he started getting greedy about it. First it was more money, then drugs, and now he wants more of both. More of both... for what? He barely even helps anymore.
