Hello there! I'm currently looking for one voice actor for my comic dub of The Witcher! Note that this is just the first installment, and I am planning on dubbing the other volumes as well, so be on the look out for more casting calls in the future. Knowledge of The Witcher (games, show, books) may be advantageous if you plan to audition, but of course, this is not a requirement.
Here's a few guidelines (and some general info) to keep in mind while auditioning:
1. Discord is not required, but it is preferred as it allows for me to contact you easily. If you do have a Discord, (or some other form of contact: email, etc.) please leave it in your audition description.
2. I am known to be a bit of a stickler when it comes to microphone quality, so XLR microphones are preferred, but not required to audition. Just keep in mind that your microphone quality will impact your chances of being cast in this project.
3. As you likely already noticed, this is a paid project. Actors will be paid as soon as lines are delivered via PayPal or Cashapp. Though please be open to line retakes if necessary.
4. If you're cast in the project, you'll have at least 2 weeks to deliver your lines.

Jakob is a hunter who Geralt comes across and eventually decides to travel with. He is kind and receptive to Geralt, despite being haunted by his dead wife. He's a middle aged man with (preferably) and Irish or English accent (feel free to experiment). Despite having tragically lost his wife, I don't imagine him as having a particularly gruff or downtrodden tone, I'd prefer something that is mature, yet welcoming and endearing.
(Slightly irritated, but understanding) "Ahhh. Bored of talking to your horse ehh? Well, you sure gave me a start."
(Welcoming and endearing) "I'm not much above that lifestyle meself, but I'll do what I can to be companionable. Name's Jakob (pronounced 'yay-cub'). Jakob Ornstine. I'm a hunter."
(Somber, but not overly distressed) "Alone? I suppose so yes. Ever since my Marta died."
Though I'll be editing the bulk of the video, I'd like to have someone create a stylish, eyecatching, 20-30 second intro (and outro) for this series of comic dubs. Please apply with some samples of your work if you're interested (:
