THE LORD OF NOWHERE; STORYBOARDED SCENE PROJECT
Project Overview
( THE VIDEO ABOVE IS NOT A PART OF THE PROJECT -- RATHER AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THE FINISHED PRODUCT WILL LOOK LIKE! )
The Toybox Citadel is a small project featuring the unwilling reality-traveller Thayne Sullen, a 46-year-old washed-up and burned-out father searching a magical toybox for his missing daughter. Trapped in a world sculpted entirely from her rampant, six-year-old imagination, Thayne is struggling to grapple with the new rules of living, surviving, and most importantly, the whereabouts of his only joy in life-- his daughter Chrysanthemum.
After the events of the animatic THE TOYBOX CITADEL, Thayne reaches an agreement with the god and curator of the Toybox. After giving him a name, "Moony", and kindling a friendship-- the henchmen of the Lord of Nowhere steal the moonman's staff-- the source of his power, and the key to returning Chrysanthemum to her home in the human world.
Injured, and on their last leg, they must descend into the Lord's dominion... "the Nowhere", to retrieve the artifact, and return on the quest to locate his missing daughter.
The world is unforgiving, however... and Thayne and Moony are forced to meet and challenge the terrifying overlord of every part of the Toybox they long wished had been forgotten.
THE LORD OF NOWHERE will be 3 - 5 minutes in length, and will be published on YouTube with the rest of my animatics. Furthermore, it will be used in pitch decks and other documents to push this series to completion.
Roles listed are the available ones. Other characters have been cast prior to this -- all seen in the previously mentioned animatic.
Voice Actor
Where there is light, there is darkness, and MILENKO is the end of all roads within the TOYBOX. He is everywhere the light cannot reach, and its fervor continues to swell. He is schematic, eerie, and entirely imbued with a senseless, animalistic desire to constantly feed on anything that enters its dominion. It is not above capturing and consuming wayward humans within the TOYBOX, and now that THAYNE’s daughter is missing in a place not even the MOONMAN can find her… one will only worry what MILENKO’s part in her absence is.

You cannot escape what is destined to come.
Everything returns to me in the end.
You have fed me everything you fear. Now, I will take what is mine.
Voice Actor
A hopeless dependent on a thankless, absent God, BIZCO is a loony, goofy, reckless servant to an impossible-to-please overlord. His acts of devotion are unwanted and unreciprocated-- not that he cares. He is deeply manic, insecure, and blasphemous, often resorting to hysterical acts of terror to attempt to make his self-appointed ruler look his way. He is impish and histrionic... but one cannot beg death for approval. He will continue to chase a force of nature... even if it leads to his demise

(erratic laughter) Give me that!
You haven't seen the last of me!
We will all answer to Nowhere someday! You're all fools to deny it!
