Tetro Danganronpa: BLUE

Project Overview

Welcome to a game of life and death.

-

Synopsis

Tetro Danganronpa is a Danganronpa fan project that tells the story of sixteen students trapped in a killing game. These students must kill each other (and get away with it) in order to escape. Until then, students will remain trapped in an abandoned facility with no contact with their friends or family. Their lives in this building are recorded through a series of audio bugs hidden throughout their environment, transmitting their conversations, actions and interactions to the outside world. Tetro Danganronpa BLUE is Tetro's second season, a sequel to the currently fully edited Tetro Danganronpa PINK. Like Pink, Tetro Blue will cover serious subject matter that some may find upsetting. By auditioning for this project, you are confirming that you understand that the content in Tetro may be grim, dark, gory, serious in tone and potentially upsetting to those who are sensitive to such content.

-

Format

Tetro Danganronpa BLUE, like its predecessor, will be released in an ongoing audio drama format. Audio will be released in two different ways. The first of these ways is through audio bugs, which will make up the core of the story. These audio bugs depict overheard conversations and interactions between characters, as well as class trials and other important events. The second way audio will be released is in the form of interview questions that will be asked to the characters occasionally by the audience. The characters will respond to these questions in the form of audio recordings. All audio will be released on the project's official page, as well as the project's YouTube page and other social media platforms.

-

Voice Actor Expectations

All voice actors will be expected to use Discord. It is also recommended that voice actors join the casting Discord when auditioning for further insight into the project, casting notifications and easier communication with the director. This is a temporary server that will be deleted upon the completion of casting. Voice actors must speak fluent English and be able to regularly deliver lines throughout the duration of the project. All characters have their voice pitch and cadence listed in their audition tab, so please review this info before auditioning! These pitches and cadences aren't 100% mandatory, so please feel free to try different things if you have something else you think would fit well! All auditions will be considered as long as they are submitted with a quality mic. Please try to have good audio quality when submitting your auditions! All mics are acceptable as long as they can produce high-quality audio. You can also feel free to submit as many takes as you'd like and audition for as many characters as you'd like!

As this is a Danganronpa project, topics present in Danganronpa can be expected here. This includes violence, death, horror, screaming, crying, swearing and other potentially sensitive topics. If this makes you uncomfortable, you may want to consider avoiding this project. Please only audition if you have a microphone capable of handling the type of voice acting this project will entail. Voice actors are also expected to be able to pronounce Japanese names due to the nature of this project. It should be noted that due to the nature of this project, all voice actors are required to be age 16 or older in order to participate.

Tetro production often happens extremely quickly with deadlines being set as soon as two weeks after the release of a script. If you do not believe you will be able to keep up with the speed of production, please reconsider auditioning!

-

Current Progress & Additional Notes

As of the current listing of this casting call page, Tetro Danganronpa PINK - the first season of Tetro Danganronpa - has already been fully written, recorded and audio edited. Subtitling is currently ongoing as the final step of production. This is not a project that will take long hiatuses or proceed along a slow production path. Tetro production often happens extremely quickly and staff members will be expected to keep up with this speed.

All art for Tetro Danganronpa BLUE has already been completed. For confidentiality's sake, please note that the assets used on this page were created exclusively for Casting Call. All art listed on this casting call page was created by Tetro's artist in the official Tetro style and is representative of the at style present within Tetro Danganronpa BLUE. However, these designs will NOT be used in the final project and only exist to demonstrate the project's style for Casting Call. All names, lines and designs are placeholder assets that exist exclusively to demonstrate Tetro for casting purposes.
