Junk City is a student animated 2D film set in a post apocalyptic world, following the journey of Cleo the engineer with her loveable robot side kick A.E.P.E, in a world where the air is no longer breathable. This film will shows the adventures and hardships of living in a dangerous apocalyptic world following the friendship of Cleo and A.E.PE.
Currently we are looking for voice actors to fit the roles of the two main protagonists and antagonist, everyone is welcome to audition!
First mock up of the animatic is done, so you will be able to view the animatic and concept art to get a feel for the characters and the world.
We will mostly be commutating through discord, however feel free to message me through any social media, as well as ask me any questions.

Cleo is a young adult who has been living in this apocalyptic world all her life. She has become accustomed to the harshness of this world, making her cold and calculated herself, not afraid to make a changeling choice. She is head strong and confident, I don't her to sound super cold or mean. She still knows to have a little bit of fun with her robot partner friend, A.E.P.E, she is extremely close with A.E.P.E as he is the only thing she has left or cares about anymore in this world, as everything else is gone.
Feel free to experiment with different accents, I don't have particular accent in mind for her, would enjoy hearing an attempt at maybe an American or Australian accent, but I am open to anything.
"AEPE it destroyed our fuel storage, now we have to stop off at the next town" [You are annoyed as a monster has just destroy your remaining supply of fuel]
(A.E.P.E is pronounced aepee, say it like full word without the spaces or dots.)
"Promise to keep this with you, just in case. Plus I know you lost that other gun I gave you." [Worried, but try to cheer up at the end, with friendly banter]
"Well he's not for sale" [Angry / irritated]
A.E.P.E (pronounced aepee) is a robot living in this apocalyptic world with his best friend Cleo. A.E.P.E is a machine who's main purpose is collect oxygen for his partner, therefore this makes him extremely caring. A.E.P.E is super loveable and very empathetic, he loves nature and wildlife and cant dream of hurting another life. Despite A.E.P.E being a machine, I still want his voice to display a lot of emotion.
Please don't put any robotic effects or filters over the auditions, as for accents I don't have any in mind so feel free to experiment.
"O2 concentration is low here, its gonna take much longer to collect" [Informing your friend being slightly worried]
"Yes, but all life is just so amazing!" [In awe/ appreciating some wildlife]
"I can't hurt anyone" [Upset/ worried]
Smokes is the main antagonist in this story, he is extremely bitter and cold due to his terrible experience in the apocalyptic wasteland. He is very angry at the world he lives in.
"Bots like that are rare around here" [Interested/ say this is a sly and curious tone]
"You know with oxygen prices rising " [Annoyed]
"What makes you so special!?" [Angry]
