Cleuce: Behind the Scenes Vlog [Monster High Sims 4 Machinima Casting Call]
Project Overview
This project is an in-universe behind-the-scenes video for my Sims 4 machinima series centered around Cleo and Deuce from Monster High titled “Cleuce”. I am currently producing a brand new, cinematic music video style intro for Cleo and Deuce’s couples channel, and this casting call is specifically for the behind-the-scenes vlog that they will upload to their channel during the filming process. In this video, viewers will follow Cleo and Deuce on set as they film their new intro, with a mix of interviews, candid moments, and character interactions that highlight both the production and their relationships with their friends.
Cleo and Deuce are the stars of the music video obviously, and they’ve brought their friends along to help bring their vision to life.
Cleo’s side features characters like Clawdeen, Draculaura, Frankie, and Lagoona, who serve as her video vixens, backup dancers, and models.
Deuce’s side features Clawd, Heath, Manny, and Holt, who act as his male models and background performers.
To capture everything behind the scenes:
Ghoulia Yelps is filming interviews with the cast and documenting the experience as a favor to her best friend, Cleo.
Honey Swamp has been personally asked by Cleo and Deuce to film for the video shoot, tying into her role as an aspiring filmmaker and cinematographer.
The project blends:
humor
character-driven dialogue
light drama
and reality-style “behind-the-scenes” energy
It’s meant to feel like a mix of a YouTube vlog and a reality show, while still staying true to the personalities of the characters.
I’m looking for voice actors who can:
bring strong personality to their roles
deliver natural, conversational dialogue
and help make the interactions feel real and engaging
While this project is focused on a behind-the-scenes video, I am also casting with long-term collaboration in mind. If you are selected for a role, I would ideally like for you to continue as that character in future projects as the “official” voice, rather than this being a one-time opportunity. This project serves as an introduction to a larger series I am developing titled Keeping Up with the Ghouls, which will follow the Monster High characters in a more expanded, character-driven format. Consistency in voices is very important to me, so I am looking for actors who are interested in growing with the project over time.
Please note that this project is intended as a more mature take on Monster High, created for us older fans of G1 who have grown up with the franchise.
The writing and dialogue may include:
strong language (cursing)
sexual humor and innuendos
more mature themes and character dynamics
If you are not comfortable performing this type of material, please do not audition for this project.

Deuce Gorgon is laid-back, confident, and effortlessly cool. He has that “chill skater boy” energy, easygoing, humorous, and grounded, but underneath that, he’s loyal, supportive, and emotionally aware, especially when it comes to Cleo. He’s the balance to Cleo’s strong personality, he doesn’t try to overpower her, but he doesn’t get walked over either.
A slightly “stoner/skater/Californian” accent is welcome, but not required. The most important thing is that the voice feels authentic and believable.

Yeah, when she pitched the idea to me, I was already fuckin’ with it, I can’t lie. I knew it was gonna be tough. So we brought in our friend Honey Swamp to direct and film it, since she’s an aspiring filmmaker and cinematographer. And the three of us came together to figure out the whole vibe and theme of the video… and we landed on something we all really love, and hopefully you guys will too.
But I’m not just any bitch, though, Cleo. I’m your boyfriend. You don’t have to shut me out to protect yourself. I’m not trying to fight you. I’m trying to understand you. I want you to let me in instead of pushing me away. I just want us to talk it through instead of going cold.
What do you mean you knew? I was playing it cool. I was on my chill shit. You didn’t know.
Cleo de Nile is confident, commanding, and unapologetically glamorous. As an Egyptian princess, she carries herself with a strong sense of status, power, and expectation, she’s used to being the center of attention, and she fully embraces it. Cleo is bold, outspoken, and can come across as intimidating or overly blunt at times, but underneath that is someone who is deeply loyal to the people she cares about. She values image, presentation, and control, and always strives to maintain a certain standard in everything she does. In this adaptation, Cleo leans into her diva energy, wit, and sharp tongue, often delivering lines with confidence, sarcasm, and authority. However, she’s not one-dimensional, there are moments where her softer, more genuine side comes through, especially around those she trusts.

Greetings, subjects of FrightTube. I am Cleo de Nile. Daughter of the mummy. Egyptian princess. Your favorite eternal teen queen. And this is my boyfriend, Deuce.
Okay, that bitch does not count. Fuck her. Try again.
And as a matter of fact, shoutout to my ghouls Clawdeen, Frankie, and Draculaura. If you’re watching this, you’d better be at fearleading practice Friday after school… on time! Four p.m. sharp! All three of those ghouls have been coming late like a whore’s period. Enough is enough.
Clawdeen Wolf is confident, stylish, and unapologetically bold. She has a strong personality with a sharp tongue, a lot of attitude, and a natural leadership presence. She’s loyal to her friends but not afraid to speak her mind or check someone when needed. In this adaptation, Clawdeen leans into her sass, confidence, and wit, similar to her G1 portrayal, but with a slightly more grounded and mature tone. She should feel expressive, charismatic, and real, someone who can deliver humor, attitude, and emotion effortlessly. She's a bad bitch.
This role is open to Black voice actors only.
Clawdeen is a Black-coded character, and in this adaptation, the script may include language and cultural expression that requires an authentic voice and lived understanding. Because of this, I am specifically seeking Black actors for this role. Please do not audition if you do not meet this requirement. Thank you for understanding and respecting that boundary.

Nigga, we in a damn strip club. What the fuck you mean?
And that weird ass back and forth between you two at Cupid's brunch. Ugh, how did I not see this shit? It's so obvious in hindsight.
Hey y’all, I’m Clawdeen Wolf. For me, this whole experience has been really fun. I’ve never been on the set of a music video before either, let alone starred in one. But I’ve been friends with Cleo for a few years now, and she’s always including me and the rest of our ghoulfriends in stuff like this. And as much as she works my nerves sometimes… I love her, so I gotta come through for my ghoul. And I love that she’s always planning something for us to be a part of. It keeps our friend group fun, fresh… and interesting. ‘Cause if I’m being real, it definitely makes up for all the times I be wanting to slap the shit out of her for that smart-ass mouth.
Frankie Stein is kind, curious, and full of life. She has a warm, approachable personality and tends to see the world with a sense of wonder and openness. She’s thoughtful, a little quirky, and always eager to learn and understand the people around her. In this adaptation, Frankie should feel like the “girl next door”, genuine, friendly, and easy to connect with. She’s often the most grounded voice in the group, bringing balance to stronger personalities with her sincerity and curiosity.
I’m looking for a voice that sounds like a natural, everyday American teen/young adult, similar to Frankie’s tone in the original G1 series.

Oh my ghoul, yes! I’ve been dying to see everything!
Mmmm… I’m not so sure about Screech and Debate. Isn’t that, like, just monsters arguing with each other? I don’t know if I wanna be the new ghoul getting into back-and-forths my first week. Monster Beat Magazine, Issue 54, Page 90 literally says that starting off too opinionated is like social suicide. Shouldn’t I, like… get to know everyone first before I start challenging them on stuff?
But… my mom and dad won’t tell me about anyone else outside of them. The only other thing I know is that I have a grandfather named Victor Frankenstein, and every time I try to get more answers, my dad shuts down. You saw in the video diary, the moment my mom mentioned him, he got upset.
Draculaura is bubbly, sweet, and full of energy. She has a very bright, cutesy personality and tends to see the best in everything. She’s expressive, affectionate, and a little dramatic in an endearing way. In this adaptation, Draculaura should feel: upbeat, lovable, warm, and friendly. She brings a lighter, more positive energy that balances out the stronger personalities around her.
Draculaura’s voice is very specific.
I am looking for someone who can naturally perform a high-pitched, soft, cutesy voice with a Transylvanian/Romanian-inspired accent. This is a core part of the character, so both the tone and accent are required for this role. The performance should still feel natural and not overly forced—cute, but believable.

Getting to be part of this? I mean… hello? That’s kind of iconic.
Hiiii! Oh my gosh, this is so exciting, I’m literally obsessed already!
Ummm, excuse meee. What is wrong with you?
Lagoona Blue is sweet, friendly, and effortlessly chill. She has a warm, easygoing personality and tends to go with the flow, but she’s not afraid to speak up when something’s bothering her. She’s kind, supportive, and emotionally aware, with a calm confidence that makes her very likable. She brings a softer, grounded energy to the group, while still having moments of humor and light attitude.
Lagoona’s Australian accent is essential to the character. The accent should not feel forced or exaggerated, it should sound authentic and effortless.

Wait, what’s this for, love?
Hello, Cleuce Clan! Lagoona Blue here, one of Cleo’s closest friends. And I just have to say, this whole experience has been so fun. The set is gorgeous, the energy is amazing, and everyone’s just been vibing. Cleo’s really outdone herself with this one. Everything feels so elevated and put together. And getting to be part of it? I mean… I’m just happy to be here, honestly. I think you guys are really gonna love it.
Gil, could you please man the fuck up!? You're like a spineless jellyfish, you have no backbone. If you really love me like you say you do why do you care what your parents think?
Ghoulia Yelps is a zombie who communicates primarily through moans, groans, and expressive vocalizations rather than traditional speech. For this role, I’m looking for a voice actor who can perform a variety of zombie-like sounds that still feel intentional, expressive, and character-driven—not just random noises. These sounds should be able to convey curiosity, agreement/disagreement, confusion, excitement, and subtle attitude. Even without words, Ghoulia should still feel like she’s actively participating in conversations. Think: expressive zombie sounds similar to Ghoulia from Monster High, but with your own natural variation.

Give a relaxed, conversational zombie response, like you’re agreeing with someone
React like you’re confused or asking a question, but only using zombie sounds
A short zombie response that feels like sarcasm
Honey Swamp is creative, thoughtful, and quietly confident. She’s an aspiring filmmaker with a strong artistic eye and a deep appreciation for storytelling. She’s observant, passionate about her craft, and carries herself with a calm, grounded presence. Honey should feel intelligent, intentional, warm, personable, and slightly soft-spoken, but confident when she speaks.
Honey should have a natural Southern inspired accent. The accent should feel light, smooth, and natural. Not overly exaggerated or cartoonish. Think Southern belle charm with a modern, grounded delivery.

And then Cleo came in and took it even further. She wanted to expand that idea into larger set pieces, where those worlds fully come to life. So now we’ve got full sets, background dancers, movement… energy. For Cleo’s scenes, she’s got her girls: Draculaura, Clawdeen, Lagoona, and Frankie, serving as her video vixens. And for Deuce, we’ve got Clawd, Heath, Manny, and Holt, everybody just vibing in his scenes. So you get both sides, the individual… and the full experience.
I’m from New Goreleans, myself, and I used to spend a lot of time down in the French Quarter, just working on my cinematography, filming the street performers, the architecture, the storefronts… the way people move through a space.
Hey Cleuce Clan! I’m Honey Swamp, pleased to make y’all’s acquaintance.
Clawd Wolf is confident, grounded, and loyal. He has a relaxed, athletic energy and comes across as someone who’s dependable and real. He’s protective of the people he cares about, easy to talk to, and brings a calm, steady presence to the group. In my adaptation, Clawd should feel warm, loyal, slightly playful, and a little hood. AAVE-influenced cadence is welcome, but the performance should feel authentic and not forced.
This role is open to Black voice actors only.
Clawd is a Black-coded character, and this adaptation includes language and cultural expression that should be delivered authentically. Because of this, I am specifically seeking Black actors for this role.

Wassup, I’m Clawd Wolf. And shii, me? I fuck with it. I ain’t never been on no music video set or nothin’ like this before, so this whole experience been crazy to me. But I’m glad I could come through for my nigga Deuce. That’s my boy, we go way back. So yeah, it’s only right I show up and have his back.
I fucked up... I know.
Clawdeen, don't do that shit, man. I never let her disrespect y'all. It was my fuckin' draft day, and I didn't wanna deal with drama.
Heath Burns is loud, energetic, and full of himself, in the most entertaining way possible. He’s clumsy, impulsive, flirty, and always doing the most, but it comes from a place of confidence rather than malice. In this adaptation, Heath should feel high-energy, expressive, slightly cocky, but playful, the type to joke, hype himself up, and insert himself into situations. He’s not meant to be taken too seriously, he brings chaos, humor, and big personality to every scene.
His original G1 VA has a slightly higher-energy tone (not deep or monotone) maybe try to emulate that?

Draculaura's in the most romantic city in the world with the most romantic dudes in the world. Ha, I'd be like mega jealous. Props bro!
Y'know, I'm no stranger to the flame game myself.
Manny Taur is strong, confident, and carries a natural sense of authority. He doesn’t say much, but when he does, people listen. He has a calm, grounded presence and gives off “alpha” energy without needing to prove it.
You have creative liberty to interpret Manny how you want. I'm not entirely sure how I want him to be voiced in my adaptation. You can use his OG G1 VA as inspo. Or curate your very own spin. The choice is yours.

Hey, Iris. Good game, huh?
I promised the guys that we'd go down in the catacombs and search for gross bugs.
Nice try, Jackson. You can't trust a normie to payback the normies. Holt can come but not you.
Holt Hyde is confident, bold, and effortlessly cool. He has a strong musical presence and carries himself like someone who’s always in rhythm with the world around him. He’s expressive, a little rebellious, and knows exactly who he is. Holt should be loud but not for the sake of being loud, his energy is intentional. When he speaks, it feels like he’s got a beat behind it.
You have creative liberty to interpret Holt how you want. I'm not entirely sure how I want him to be voiced in my adaptation. You can use his OG Generation 1 VA as inspo. Or curate your very own spin. The choice is yours.

Thank you! I have been trapped in the nerdy normie for way too long!
Ayo, ayo, Cleuce Clan! It’s your boy Holt Hyde in the building! I ain’t even gon’ lie, this whole setup? It’s hitting. Lights, cameras, action, Cleo’s running a tight ship, I respect it. I’m just here to turn it up when it’s time. Deuce knew what he was doing calling me for this, and not that stick-in-the-mud Jackson. He knows who really brings the energy, and it definitely ain’t him.
Hey, call it what you want, Ghoulia. It's still working for me. As long as I get my Franken-fine time, I’m good.
