A short, cutesy visual novel featuring a bi princess that must choose a suitor in order to help her kingdom, which has fallen into turmoil. In the end she can choose to pick the kingdom's adviser, a non-binary person named Frel that can transform between human and dragon.

Character total for this round of auditions: 4
Kovi (f) - ~180 lines for ~$80, at 33 cents a line.
Frel (f*) - ~100 lines at ~$50, at 33 cents a line.
Hatsu (f) 20 lines for $10
Sahar (m) 20 lines for $10
This is a commercial visual novel that will be available on PC/Mac/Linux.
You will be required to sign a NDA and give us permission to use your voice in a commercial game.
General rule of thumb for line payment is 33 cents a line + a bit extra base.
Payment:
Payment for the lines will be sent via paypal once all of the lines are completed. (Or half before, half after for larger payments/line counts.)
Before you decide to audition, please make sure you understand the rules.
Please use a quality mic! (no background noises, puffs, peaking, etc).
Please read the lines twice before delivery, and listen to your takes before sending them in. Making a mistake in a single line out of three makes for a bad example when we’re asking for hundreds.

Kovi - ~180 lines for $80
A spoiled princess with a good heart and a bit of silliness in her. While used to a life in luxury, she is a generally good person with a bit of growing to do.
~Roughly 180 lines, may go up or down a little but keep around .33 cents a line with a bit extra.
Desired voice:
Early 20's. Mid to high range. European accent preferred (English / British / Spanish / Scottish / Irish) but if using your natural accent. that is totally fine, too!
Kovi asks Frel if they will give her the honor of courting them.
Sincere, smiling.
1) “*giggling* No tricks. *small sigh/breath* You have been so kind to me, and it is so easy to smile and laugh around you.”
Kovi was just dropped off at the castle and must lug her belongings around with her, as no servants are around.
Disheveled, very frustrated.
2) “Why did those dumb peasants have to rebel, anyway? Mother made sure they had… you know, food!”
Talking out loud to herself. Worried that her soon-to-be-inherited kingdom hates her and that she must marry for power and wealth, not love.
Worried, pained.
3) “Or is this all my fault? Have I been such a rotten and spoiled Princess that no one wants to marry me, even if it means they get to rule a Kingdom?”
Frel - ~100 lines
The kingdom’s advisor, a patient individual that can turn into a faerie dragon and use some magic at will.
Frel is tasked with a quest to help Kovi find a suitor, which puts Frel into some awkward situations, such as explaining to Kovi that her royal family is not well loved by the people, and that there are only 2 people that seek her hand in marriage.
Desired Voice:
Late 20’s, early 30’s. Mid to low range. No preferred accent. Just apply with whatever voice you feel is your strongest!
Kovi is yelling in the empty castle hallways, trying to find anyone. Frel can hear her perfectly fine.
Patient, insistent. Maybe just a little bit suffering for the first part.
“Inside voices, Your Highness. Come to my office.”
Frel is tasked with helping Kovi bring her luggage to her royal quarters. The pack ends up being WAY heavier than it has any right to be. ‘Stars above’ as an exclamation/curse.
Exasperated, incredulous.
2) “Stars above, Your Highness! What did you pack?”
Kovi has just asked Frel to call her by her name, instead of using ‘your highness’. This is highly irregular, and Frel is flustered but pleased.
Blushing, uncharacteristically flustered/shy.
Kovida pronounced: Co-Vee-Duh
3) “F-fine, Your highn- ah, Princess Kovida.”
Sahar - ~20 lines for $10
One of Kovi’s suitors. More spoiled than she is, if possible.
Desired voice:
Early 20’s. Any range. Snooty, pompous. No preferred accent.
Idly grooming his nails.
Starts off sarcastic with a nasally ‘aha’. Casual.
1) “As wonderful as it has been to ‘rough it’ --aha-- these past two days, I require twenty servants available at all times to tend to my needs.”
Explaining something to a simpleton. Obviously!
Quite full of himself.
2) “These good looks do not come cheap, Princess.”
Warning, a bit astounded that Kovi would threaten him.
3) “You do not wish to make an enemy of my family, Princess.”
Hatsu - ~20 lines for $10
Soldier/guard type. A rather monosyllabic type of woman, unless she’s asked about her sword.
Desired voice:
Mid 20’s. Any range. Should sound very dry, matter-of-fact until asked about fighting or swords. Could even potentially have a country-bumpkin sort of voice (totally optional)
Typical guard response.
Stiffly.
“As you wish, Your Highness.”
She was just asked if there were riots in the capitol, to which she’s just like ‘yup’.
Not at all interested in extrapolating.
2) “Sure was. Not much to do, though.”
Suddenly as bright as a star and excited.
Pronunciation of Wangi and Usnite is a one-off and unimportant. Really gets into the story about her sword.
3) “Thanks! Her name is Howling Light. She was forged by the master smith of the Wangi Kingdom. Their technique of hammering is as unique as the Usnite Ore she uses to craft the blades. I’ve had no finer. Howling Light has been the saving grace of many fights.”
