Spirit Bound the Audio Drama Episode 3!

For this show we have been lucky to have a few amazing musicians to help make an OST for the project, but of course we are always looking for more people to help! For this role please submit your music portfolio or some songs you are particularly proud of, and don't hesitate to submit even if you're a bit worried you aren't good enough, we'd still be glad to have you on board! I generally will try to ask for 6-9 minutes of music per month, but as this is a free project I try not to rush people at all to let them work at a pace that is comfortable for them. So if you need a bit more time to make the requested music, that is completely fine!

For this project we have a wonderful team of artists making pieces to bring each scene to life! But, we are always looking for more people to join the team! For this role please submit your art portfolio and discord below! And please don't be concerned about not being good enough! As long as it's perceptible who the characters are and where they are at, then we would be more than happy to have your help! As for the workload, I will generally try to get 1 to 2 pieces per month, but since this is a free project, I try not to rush people and let them work at a pace they're comfortable with! So if you need to take a bit longer to make pieces, then that is completely fine!

Role - Focus-Character

Able Ameri is a grizzled mercenary in his 50's that carries the blood of one of the most legendary mercenaries to ever live, Eamon Ameri. In his past, he was a proud and well-renowned warrior, but due to an unfortunate incident, he lost nearly everything and everyone he cared about and the public's opinion of him began to change for the worse. He is a stoic man that believes his days of glory are behind him, but he fails to realize that life is about to prove him wrong.

Role - Focus-Character

Kara Floris is the strong-willed princess of the nation of Transparency Magic, Turanta. Many across Luxen affectionately refer to her as "The People's Faith" due to her being one of the only nobles in Luxen to often choose to interact with peasants over other nobles, as well as her desire to help those less fortunate make a place in the world. This has also made her... quite unpopular among nobles of nations outside of Turanta and its close circle of allies, mostly due to her being more than willing to be vulgar or uncouth, sometimes for no other reason than to make a point. She is also far more rude and uppity towards nobles, thinking that they (including herself) shouldn't act so high and mighty just because they were born into strength, or have the strength to put down other people. Overall, she is a woman of the common-folk who is exceedingly stubborn in pursuing her goals of making a world that doesn't just cater to those at the top. Fun fact! She is also the woman depicted in the cover of this project! 

Role - Focus-Character

Serenity is the fierce and beautiful heir of the nation of Curse Magic, Wolf's Reach. She is best known for being both serious and completely uncompromising on her desires and ideals. If she wants something for herself, her family, or the world, then she will do everything in her power to achieve it. Her magical strength is magnificent, but physically her body is as weak as a pane of glass. At the start of the story her nation is one that is poor and underdeveloped due to her mother's poor mentality and the manipulation of the other nobles around her. She does what she can to give input to her mother, but there's only so much she can do without officially being the ruler. This has her building anger and ripe to rise up and bring change, change which she will fight to achieve until her last breath. I Imagine her voice being fairly deep for a woman, though this is not necessary if you think you could have a good take on the character using some other voice!

Ajax - Focus-Character/Major

Ajax is the brother to Ren, and also the victim of a horrible human experiment called the Ultimate Mage program. Ajax is exceedingly smart, and tries to be sweet and caring to most, though his time as a test subject has left him hardened. This has made him prone to exploding in rage at times, and nowadays he will often lead with a harsh persona until he learns he can trust whoever it is he's talking too. All he wants now is to escape his containment and get revenge on his captors so that he might be able to just live a normal life. I imagine his voice being on the higher side, though this is not in stone if you have other takes of the character in mind!

Role - Focus-Character

Riala is... well, she's the princess of the nation of Greed Magic, Niritas, and considered to be practically insane by many who've spoken to her. In Luxen people refer to her as "The Tick of the East", which is thought to be a double meaning of both a lunatic, and a clock that ticks down to the end of her house. In actuality, she is simply a general that is known for creating some of the most creative and absurd plans to have ever been executed. Most that call her by her nickname really only do so because her accomplishments frustrate them. She is a military mastermind that cares little for anything but battle besides keeping her family safe... It just also happens that she is practically incapable of putting on a serious face and will almost always act as her eccentric self without regard for what people may think of such behavior.

Role - Focus-Character

Ren is the brother of Subject Alpha - Ajax, and he was one of the unfortunate victims of the experimentation group known as the Ultimate Mage program. He is far more bold and brash than is brother, taking situations by the horns and ruling with emotion rather than intelligence. This is reflected in his magic, which is both exceptionally powerful and unpredictable. Ren is ambitious, wanting to escape his captivity and start a full-on uprising against the king, who started the horrible program which he is now a part of.

Damiana is the heir of the nation of Greed Magic, Niritas. To the public she appears a serious and stoic figure that cares for the honor of her family more than anything. In private however, she's someone who often loses herself in pursuit of acts that are considered debaucherous, as she loves gambling and can often be found with prostitutes in her chambers. This is a common source of tension between her and her parents who view such acts as below her station, but her immense skill in combat makes them begrudgingly deal with her, and said skill makes her widely respected across Luxen. I imagine her voice as being one that is medium pitched, with her making it deeper while attempting to be serious and letting her natural voice out when relaxed.

Role - Focus-Character

Caron is the current ruler of the nation of Transparency Magic, Turanta. He is an older man who acts as a skilled general and leader, though he himself isn't the most skilled at fighting. He has a strong moral compass, wanting to protect life as much as possible, but not to the point of being naive, as he will fight if required. His main vice against this moral compass is that he isn't vested in the idea of honor likely due to his past, believing in it... but not to the extent of most others who proclaim to have honor, having a low enough willpower concerning honor to betray it or his vows if pressed more than a bit to do so with most matters. He is typically very relaxed and talkative, only getting truly serious when a situation calls for it. He has an extreme vested interested in the continued legacy of his family, as they hold the last remnants of the old queen, Astrid Kinellas's blood in them. Despite all this desire to protect his legacy and ability to lead and be serious, he does have a hidden sensitivity and fear stemming from his childhood that he constantly has to overcome to in the scenarios where he must be a brave leader. Overall, he is a happy and talkative man who tries to approach situations with peace but is more than willing to bring the full might of his leadership skills and armies to those who choose to meet his peace with war, even if on the inside he has to fight his own self-doubt and fears to push through and actually lead like he knows he can. I imagine his voice as being on the deeper side, but as long as it isn't actively high-pitched, it should work just fine.

Role - Focus Character

Hestian Floris, known as "Hestian the Hero" across Luxen is something of a legend. He has a storied history in war as well as a noble and kind demeanor which has earned him the respect of nobles and peasants alike. He is considered to be unmatched in single combat, in no small part due to his exceptionally powerful Unique Ability, and he takes great pride in his battle skill and honor. In matters not related to his work however, he comes off as quite aloof and playful, enjoying talking to all manner of people and making a fool of himself in the most outrageous of ways. Hestian's goal beyond all else is to be seen as the strongest, someone so powerful that all other warriors are afraid to step to him or his family that can even take down King Edmund someday.

Azmen is the prince of the Armana family in the nation of Love Magic, Caradon. Despite technically having been the heir, he has recently relinquished all claims to inheriting the title of head of his family to be inducted into the Bulwark of the Beast, an honorary noble family (Called "House Briar") which is ruled by strength and dedicated to the maintaining of what is known as "magic emanation". Personality wise, he is quite uncaring and lax, more inclined to enjoy his time than actually do his job. He is also exceptionally arrogant, as from a young age he has always been exceptionally skilled in combat and never faced someone since adulthood who could challenge him. He's a man yet to find his ambition, and marches to the beat of his own drum, no matter the frustration it causes others.

Role - Major

Ashton Floris serves on King Edmund's Council of Advisors down in the capital of Luxen, The Bastion. He is also from a long-split branch of the Floris family that does not live in the nation of Transparency Magic, Turanta. Ashton is a witty and highly intelligent man, always quick to crack a joke or make light of a serious situation. He is a skilled warrior, but finds battle as a whole disgusting, and so he tries to avoid it as much as possible. Through his life in the capital, he has become an expert at navigating the political landscape of Luxen, and is one that is not easily manipulated. More than anything, Ashton has always wanted to fully get out of the capital so he can live with the rest of the Floris's, whom he views as his true family.

Hitena is a researcher in The Bastion and has been a prisoner of war for King Edmund for hundreds of years. This is because of her being what is known as a Phantom: An individual who possesses the abilities of all 20 types of magic, which makes them have exceptional magical potential. Hitena has been barred from using magic for anything but her lab work for a long while by way of magic shackles, and while she never grew to like the king, she has slowly begun to tolerate his command and follow orders, simply because it benefits her to do so. These days she cares about little besides her lab work, helping to create weapons, items, and uses for magic that didn't exist before. She has a calm demeanor and prefers to stay quiet and survey situations rather than rush into them. This has made her very skilled at reading people and getting into their heads. This is further aided by her Unique Ability, which makes her practically a savant when it comes to her instinctive intellect and academic prowess in exchange for not being capable of using more than a small percentage of her body's physical ability. This in addition to her magic shackles has completely crippled her strength-wise, resulting in her turning inward to further train her mind as best she can.

Role - Major

Kaya is a Princess in the nation of Prudence Magic, Entaros. She is best known for being a scientist with no limits on her experiments. She has little care for ethics and will do anything she believes she needs to in order to achieve the results she is after, and she certainly has a bit of a sadistic side during her experiments. This does not however mean she is actively cruel. She simply sees it as fulfilling a need to advance science, so outside of experiments, she is generally quite amicable towards her subjects, giving them food, clothing, and anything else they might need that will not inhibit future experiments. Currently, she works for King Edmund with Hitena Cator in order to advance the understanding of magic above that of other nations. Personality wise, she is quite playful and very particular about the way things are done, being a bit of a perfectionist. Her intelligence is also in the upper Echelon of Luxen, though most don't recognize it, simply writing her off as insane. I imagine her voice being quite high pitched, but anything that isn't actively deep should be fine.

Role - Major

Aline is a skilled warrior that spent most of her life taking contracts from high value clients across Luxen. Unfortunately, after an encounter with the nobility of the nation of Hate Magic, The Guild, she was forced to agree to serve in the special forces of their military to avoid execution. Nowadays she just finds herself going through the motions, treating her job with apathy. What was once a fun loving, excitable mercenary had been turned into an apathetic soldier hating every day she lives. The only times she would ever find joy in life is when she was allowed to fight... not even because she loved fighting, but because it was the only time when she could feel anything at all anymore. So now, even when she does let her emotions back out, she's more hardened, soured by her days of what basically amounts to slavery. She longs for something to happen that will allow her to break free of the chains placed upon her by The Guild and go back to living her old life.

Role - Major/Supporting

Kira Inoue is the servant of princess Serenity Zellen in the nation of Curse Magic, Wolf's Reach. Most of her early life was spent as an impoverished orphan, who was forced to beg and steal to feed herself. One day she was caught and nearly executed, when Serenity allowed her to enter her service instead of being killed, which she accepted handedly. Despite being a slave however, Kira actually very much enjoys her job mostly due to the immense respect she holds for the princess. In a way, she felt that slavery gave her a purpose in life, as she just wandered around trying to survive for most of her childhood. Kira is an eccentric, curious, and talkative individual, and Serenity does nothing to limit her beyond what would be reasonably expected, basically treating her more like a close friend than a slave. Kira believes Serenity to be more intelligent and deserving of power than most all others in Luxen, and her goal is to see Serenity flourish as much as possible, and to serve her as best she can.

Role - Major

Tiara holds the role of The Blade in Luxen. This is the individual who acts the main executor of public orders from the king and is considered to be their most trusted and powerful warrior. As such, Tiara is an exceptionally powerful warrior, though ironically, combat is not her drive. She prefers to try and play the political game of Luxen... making friends, enemies, and using her position to leverage people in whatever ways she can to garner as much power as possible. To that end, she is quite a nice individual when the situation allows, tending to act cordial even to her most hated enemies, as she firmly believes that friends are far more useful than foes. 

Role - Major

Riyad Farelyn is the nephew of king Edmund, and the prince of the nation of Pride Magic, Miranae. Riyad is basically king Edmund's yes man, he wants to become The Blade and be declared his heir, and so he works hard to become as strong and as cruel as possible to appeal to his uncle. As of now, he is a presider of the Ultimate Mage program, experimenting on children to attempt to turn them into powerful weapons to use in warfare. Riyad demonstrates a disgusting lack of care for humanity, believing that no act is too extreme if it helps him achieve his goal. He acts as if he enjoys these acts as well, though it is unclear if this is genuine enjoyment, or simply an act he puts on to appeal to Edmund.

Role - Major

Prinaeous, usually shortened to Prin, is known as "The Anointed Lady" and "The Bank of Luxen." The first nickname was given to him as a child, as he has always been exceptionally beautiful and effeminate, to where people would always joke about him being a girl. The nickname jabs at that fact by calling him a lady with a... well, sword. He grew up as an orphan, but due to a high level of ambition, he was adopted by the Kazmin family, a powerful noble family from the nation of Envy Magic, The Fold. As he got older, his ambition began to pay off, with him gaining ownership of nearly all businesses in The Fold after an economical crash within the nation. This got him noticed by King Edmund, who had him join his council in early adulthood. At this point, Prin has also practically monopolized all businesses in The Bastion, making him perhaps the wealthiest individual across Luxen. This earned him his second nickname, referencing the fact that he basically held sole ownership over the economy of two of some of the most economically focused nations. Personality wise, Prin despises participating in combat or any kind of violence, though he does recognize that it must happen sometimes in general. He is also a friend to just about everyone. Other people with many allies tend to be seen as manipulative or uptight, but Prin has a relaxed, very accommodating, and kind personality which, along with his beauty, has garnered him the love and admiration of most he interacts with. His motives, while well stated, are still questioned by those around him, as some believe that he just wants to help everyone become economically stable with his skills, while more skeptical people believe that he wishes to monopolize the entire economy of Luxen and trap the whole world in a chokehold where he has control. For his voice, given his effeminate nature, it should be on the higher side of the male spectrum, or honestly some girl voices could also probably work.

Role - Major

Merrik is the current heir to the nation of Love Magic, Caradon. He is known for being a man of many coats, being very skilled in learning what one likes and playing to that to gain them as allies. He is also constantly at odds with his mother, Allison, over how the nation should be ruled when he one day takes control. He sees her as a pathetic ruler that lets others walk all over her nation and lacks a spine, and believes in a Caradon where the people truly have faith in the strength of their ruler to protect them. He has an immense disdain for his mother because of this, and she remains the one topic which he still cannot successfully hide his emotions on.

Role - Major

Scarlett is Kara Floris's best friend and used to be a noble herself. She was born in the nation of Fortitude Magic, Hestaron, which is known for its extreme strictness and military prowess. When there she was found fornicating with another woman, which in Hestaron is an offense punishable by death. Because she was a noble however, her family simply denounced her, delegitimizing her and sending her north where she now lives after running into Kara. This is where the last name Grey came from, as it is the last name given to you when you are delegitimized from a noble family. Despite this, Scarlett is quite grateful towards Kara for taking her as a citizen of Turanta and tries to act as nice as possible to her because of it. However, in general she is a pretty relaxed and playful individual, albeit with a hatred for her family and her nation, making her want to tear them all to the ground in revenge, a sentiment which has proven difficult to overcome. As for her voice, I do have it in mind that her voice would be quite deep for a woman.

Role - Major

Maria is the queen of the nation of Curse Magic, Wolf's Reach. There has been a stigma gathered around Curse Magic, that the users of it are all cruel and unfeeling, which can sometimes result in them being less trusted by the world. Maria is someone who has given into the stereotype by way of a self-fulfilling prophecy, the sort of "You want to see me that way? Fine that's what I'll be" mentality. She is very unwilling to interact with those outside of her nation in majority of matters, and has the mentality that those of Wolf's Reach and The Guild (another nation with an oft looked down upon magic type) are the only people she can rely on. This, along with its size and population has made Wolf's Reach one of the nations he fears may start a rebellion the most. She is also unfortunately, not a great ruler because of this. She often gets lost in her desire to prove the power of Wolf's Reach, putting resources into weapons research and war rather than food and infrastructure. This has made the people dislike her... looking instead to her daughter Serenity who seems to be far more competent with ruling. Maria even acknowledges this, asking Serenity for advice on many matters. She is a caring woman should she grow to trust you, but through years of brutal treatment and distrust, she's grown to hide this side of herself from nearly everyone that isn't family or a close ally.

Role - Major

Estavan is one of the members of King Edmund's Council, and he is also the king's connection to what is probably the largest criminal organization in Luxen, Spudio. Estavan grew up within the organization and has always been well respected and liked by everyone in the group aside from his brother, Jack, who happened to be in the top 5 of the organization. Jack had always felt that Estavan had an easy path to the top he had to carve, already having a family member within the group after all. Jack was still far more powerful and respected in the organization than him, and it just so happened that Edmund was wanting to get his hands on someone high up in Spudio to make sure they weren't getting overzealous. Naturally, Estavan was volunteered and sent to The Bastion, and while at first, he was basically a prisoner, he had soon impressed Edmund with his sharp wit and skill with words, eventually resulting in him being placed on the council. Nowadays he serves the role of keeping the king and Spudio close to leverage each other's resources in an alliance, and Estavan is more respected than ever. As mentioned earlier, Estavan has a sharp wit, and he is quite skilled with words. He is also a very distinguished individual who cares about his image greatly. As such he always tries to act very kind and gentlemanly, which does help his image... but it also pisses off his brother knowing that he's so well put together, which is certainly a bonus for him. Though of course, as is often needed in the criminal world, he is more than able to get his hands dirty and drop the niceties to get a job done.

Role - Major

Asera is a member of King Edmund's Council, and she is also the best definition of a "loose canon" in the audio drama. She is exceptionally powerful with her magic, having access to creating and manipulating strange demonic creatures, along with near mastery of Curse Magic, but she also has little understanding of morality. Noone knows her anything about her past, including how she was born, other than the fact that at the age of 3 she was found by Edmund. This is reportedly because she had been found eating an entire village of people with a group of disgusting creatures she summoned called Hobbs, which are notably extremely rare to find naturally. These were the only creatures she wanted to socialize with at first, which led to her gaining the nickname of "The Hobb". She seemed to not have a grasp on the concepts of death, emotion, and morality as a whole from the start, which gave Edmund an opportunity. He took Asera and raised her to be a killing machine who did what they were told without thinking and placed her on the council just because she trusted him and would always vote in his favor. Despite this, she never really grew to actively like her job... in fact she kind of hates it. She constantly requests to learn more about what it's like to be a 'mortal' as she calls other people, but she has been prohibited from meeting with people besides those in his court, and even they have been barred from teaching her about morality and what it means to think for yourself. Even when she's on missions, she has an item she's been told to wear to 'enhance her magic' that prevents her from speaking so she doesn't ask questions and learn that what she's doing is actually wrong. So she is like an extraordinarily powerful child, who has been groomed by Edmund from a young age and doesn't understand morals or the meaning of death, and trusts Edmund inherently for saving her. However, she does long to understand the mortal experience, and despite having killed all her life... she does seem to have an inherent disdain for it, a feeling which she also wishes to understand. These feelings mixed with her growing age has made her far more adventurous and moving closer towards disobedience in her quest to answer these burning questions that remain inside her.

Role - Major/Supporting

Lilith is the mother of both Azemn Briar, Alpina Armana, and many others, as well as the head of House Armana from the nation of Love Magic, Caradon. Along with this, she is also the primordial Monius, that is to say, a race that is said to be born from the afterlife, and the most sinful of all the races. She is exceptionally strong, and certainly strong enough to make the Armana's the ruling family of Caradon... except she is entirely unserious. She has so many children and has lived so long she sees everything happening as a joke. She sits around, trains, eats, has sex, views entertainment, and everything in between that is of little consequence. There's an old story from 5,000 years ago where her family at the time was all captured and her house attacked... Lilith just opened the door for the men and watched while her family was slaughtered, then went and worked at a brothel for the next 500 years until she decided she wanted to be a noble again. At said point she waited until another house fell in war than just... up and took over, and the initial invaders just let her. So, she is a woman that is known for her being exceptionally strong, but also never taken into account when judging a nations strength, because in the 10,000 years she's known to have lived in history, she's genuinely tried to fight back against an invading force a number of times so small it could be counted on two hands. As you might guess, her personality is very unserious... being playful, sarcastic, and energetic at almost all times. If she gets annoyed with someone however, and takes an interest in them, she is known to potentially be one of the most sadistic women in all of Luxen. Though, really the only way to do that is to actively antagonize her or act too cocky in her presence, which noone worth their salt is foolish enough to do.

Born Luca Kinellas, he is one of the two remaining direct descendants of the old queen Astrid Kinellas. By the time the war with Astrid was over, Him and his sister Lily were about 2 years old. Their at the time 12 year old stepbrother Caron Floris took them and raised them as his children in the kingdom that came of Astrid's old nation. Caron knew that if the existence of the two children was discovered, they would be killed, and so he had them raised as slaves to his house, House Floris, such that they would never be known to be related to Astrid at all. This is the state in which they stayed for over 1,600 years, and the truth has still not been revealed to them. Luca and Lily have become very trusted servants of house Floris, and Luca is beginning to yearn for more. He is both brash and ambitious, and now after so long as a servant he wants to forge his own path, yet for reasons he of course does not understand, Caron has refused this and insisted he and his sister stay enslaved, even keeping them away from battle to make sure they stay alive. As such, despite him being over 1,600 years old, he still lacks much of the wisdom that comes with old age, his only experiences being the training and slave duties permitted to be done by Caron, albeit he is exceptionally skilled at those things.  As stated, he is quite a brash individual, who is very adventurous, curious, and focused on his legacy. He wants to become a knight that can one day start his own house, making him also strive to be as honorable as possible.

While her brother Luca trained physically, Lily honed her mind, reading texts of all kinds and picking up as many practical skills as she could. This has made her exceptionally intelligent, having a good basis of knowledge in medicine, as well as a variety of other crafts and trades. Lily is a content woman, being very kind, excitable, and just happy to continue learning and living life. She also however wants to support her brother Luca, as while she doesn't yearn for more like him, she wants him to be happy, and so also wishes to help him achieve his goal of one day leaving servitude and building his own legacy.

Nyara Kardell is the queen of the nation of Hate Magic, The Guild. Like some other nations, notably Wolf's Reach, the nation of Curse Magic, those who live in The Guild are often looked down on because Hate Magic is viewed very negatively. Nyara however happens to be one of King Edmund's most trusted allies, which offsets these issues somewhat. They became friends long ago, when Nyara was a slave known as 1 who worked for Astrid, and when Edmund ended up defeating her, freed Nyara and placed her in a position of power for her immense strength. On that note, Nyara is a character who will be both in the future and past arc of the story and has some differences in her personality in each one. As 1, she is very serious and cold, focusing solely on obeying her mistress; Though she does a cruel streak, enjoying tormenting those who cause problems. After being free for so long however, the future Nyara is quite different. She is a very relaxed woman, perhaps one of the most laid-back rulers across Luxen, who enjoys interacting with and learning about all kinds of people, while protecting those of her own nation. She's the type of person that is exceedingly difficult to make upset, but if you do get her to that point, you likely won't live to see her calm down again.

Aurora Macon is the young head of House Macon in the nation of Love Magic, Caradon. She is also the leader of a secret organization named "The Knights of Rebirth." This organization worships a goddess called the Lady of Rebirth, and their goal is to completely tear down the current system of Luxen, get rid of all the noble houses, and rebuild it better than it ever was before. Calling Aurora ambitious would be an understatement, she's a full-on radical who believes Luxen is far too unequal to hope to salvage. Her house is small in Caradon, so she hasn't managed to spread her ideals to as many as she's hoped, but she has created a sizeable army and aims to strike sooner rather than later. Her house is the main military might in Caradon, giving her a good amount of experience in both being a charismatic leader, and in combat. Her main weakness is that she lacks a level of tact which she traded for passion, which has nearly resulted in her motives being revealed a few times in the past. She is a highly energetic woman that doesn't even consider the possibility of failure, and she has bred a group more loyal than nearly any other army in Luxen.

Role - Major

25 was born with a name now lost to time, into a slaver organization known for being highly expensive but also highly effective. There she was broken down, losing her willpower, individuality, and resistance. 25 was also given training in combat such that she could be the perfect slave no matter her command. This was aided by an ability that made her even more skilled of a slave than most would be even when trained. When 25 turned 15, she was sold to Nyara Kardell at a premium, and she has worked for her ever since. Nyara has been a very kind mistress to 25, with no real punishment or criticizing, basically just using 25 as someone to talk to and perform normal servant duties. 25 has always been confused by this, as she is used to constant abuses and violations by her owners, but appreciates it nonetheless. 25 tries to act as a perfect slave, being very blunt and to the point, always acting in the best interest of her mistress. She will often come off as rude or abrasive to others, as if it isn't Nyara and she isn't commanded to, she will rarely show respect unless she feels the individual has truly earned it.

Marcel is a member of King Edmund's council, and he has always been a part of the noble life of Luxen. He is the son of Edmund's old council head, and as such he has been trained to be very regal, intelligent, and logical from birth. Given the nature of Luxen, he has also been trained to fight... though he's never really excelled at it. He is quiet and very well-spoken, as well as exceedingly difficult to manipulate or lie too. He doesn't take really anything of importance at face value and always seeks a deeper understanding of whatever it is he's talking about at the time.

Allison Adler is the queen of the nation of Love Magic, Caradon. She is known for the majority of her rule being one of passivity, to the point where her nation is viewed as nothing more than a joke, and more of a liability than asset to have as an ally. This is because she used to be an absolute pacifist, though this has changed with time. Her first son, Merrik Adler, grew up to despise her rule because of how much she let people walk all over her, and she's since become far more strict to anyone not within her nation, or those directly needed for her alliances... so mostly Caron Floris of the nation of Transparency Magic, Turanta. This strictness and softness has melded together into a two-faced queen, who is kind and soft to those she loves and needs, but strict and... difficult to most anyone else.

Nausea is the biological mother of Kara Floris, and acts as the top slave of House Floris of Turanta. In the past she was the member of a noble family, House Mityr, which collapsed in a war over 50 years ago. Nausea was the sole survivor of her family and was allowed to live under the condition of eternal slavery to House Floris. During this time, she became quite close to Caron Floris and eventually entered a relationship with him in the night which ended in the birth of Kara. To this day none other than a few Turanta nobles know of this relationship and most just see Kara as a normal bastard child of Caron. She tries to give as much advice and guidance to Kara as she can despite this, acting as her personal slave much of the time. She is a softspoken and thoughtful individual; a woman of few words that tries to speak only when there's something that needs to be said.

Helia Floris is the wife of Caron Floris, and the official mother of Kara Floris. She is a strong, stoic, and honorable woman, who is dedicated to the continued strength of Turanta as a whole. She was married from the nation of Justice Magic, Trogastan. This has made honor and one's word more important to her than practically anything else. Because of this, she was able to come to terms with the fact that even though Kara was born out of an affair, she did nothing wrong to her, and therefore treats her like her own child. However, since Caron was the one who ended up cheating on her and breaking her trust... she still does hold some reserved mistrust towards him, though she has mostly moved past it as it's been so long.

Role - Supporting/Minor

Desmond is the defacto messenger for the middle class of Luxen. His ability and knowledge allow him to transport messages, demands, and all other sorts of information from place to place with more reliability than any other messenger money could buy. He is a very blunt and man... he doesn't understand sarcasm at all, and he at least appears like he holds no true loyalty. Despite being a man of no innate loyalty, he does follow the money much like a sellsword. Ironically his job for the middle class has also made him perhaps the best information broker in Luxen, as his only vow is to never leak anything he is paid to transport or keep secret (even then if you can outbid the initial buyer he might budge...)... but travelling across Luxen so often has him learning many things, things which people are willing to pay quite a bit for. As for his motives, no one knows them. All people know is that he hails from the nation of Faith Magic, Shintara, and moved down to the mainland of Luxen when he reached adulthood, supposedly just wanting to make a living... but if there's anything more that he's truly after is a question asked by many who use his services. For his voice, I imagine him almost speaking in a robotic manner, not really understanding normal communication.

Role - Minor

Mirin Adler is the prince of the nation of Love Magic, Caradon. He is a very kind, loyal and honorable boy at about the age of 7. He wants to grow up to be a good prince that's a respected leader worthy of the title of lord when he grows up. Mirin grew up quite spoiled, being the child of Allison Adler, one of the kindest women known in Luxen when it comes to matters of her family. He is also quite close to his brother, Kirin, who is comparatively speaking, far more brash than Mirin.

Role - Minor

Kirin is the prince of the nation of Love Magic, Caradon, and the brother of Mirin. Kirin is far more brash than his brother, being rude, dirty, and often disrespectful. He enjoys combat far more than his brother, and doesn't understand the concept of honor like Mirin does, seeing it as dumb. He does care for his family though and wants to grow up to be the strongest fighter in all of Luxen, although he is almost certainly too weak to ever reach that goal.
