Born Lily Kinellas, she is one of the two remaining direct descendants of the old queen Astrid Kinellas. By the time the war with Astrid was over, Her and her brother Luca were about 2 years old. Their at the time 12-year-old stepbrother Caron Floris took them and raised them as his children in the kingdom that came of Astrid's old nation. Caron knew that if the existence of the two children was discovered, they would be killed, and so he had them raised as slaves to his house, House Floris, such that they would never be known to be related to Astrid at all. This is the state in which they stayed for over 1,600 years, and the truth has still not been revealed to them. Over this time, Lily and Luca have become very well trusted servants of House Floris, and this is a life she's comfortable with. Caron has always kept the two of them out of harms way, and made sure all of their training and duties were done within as small of a range as possible from the keep they reside in. This has had the unfortunate effect that despite being over 1,600 years old, Lily lacks much of the wisdom and common sense that would normal come with such age, as she just has not been allowed to experience anything beyond her slave duties and whatever else was permitted in the castle. While her brother Luca trained physically, Lily honed her mind, reading texts of all kinds and picking up as many practical skills as she could. This has made her exceptionally intelligent, having a good basis of knowledge in medicine, as well as a variety of other crafts and trades. Lily is a content woman, being very kind, excitable, and just happy to continue learning and living life. She also however wants to support her brother Luca, as while she doesn't yearn for more like him, she wants him to be happy, and so also wishes to help him achieve his goal of one day leaving servitude and building his own legacy.
