About Sophie Gainor

Update: Please message me here before sending discord requests. I'm not trying to be rude, but this is my personal discord. While I'd love to take on every unpaid job for experience, the fact of the matter is that I'm struggling a bit amid the ADHD medical shortage right now. As such, I'm trying to find my way back into projects I'm currently part of. Thanks for understanding!

Hello there! My name is Sophie Gainor, and I appreciate you looking at my profile. I am an aspiring Voice actress with plenty of copywriting and scriptwriting experience. I’m finally pursuing some of my creative passions. Currently, I run my own business as a pet sitter/dog walker. That said, this will not impede upon any projects should I be picked. I have plenty of free time and enough funding at the moment to develop my voice acting and writing abilities: both of which I hope to work on while I search for more employment opportunities!

I spend my time exercising in VR, practicing voices (I'll stream some of my favorite visual novels and try out voices with friends), working on side creative projects, or gaming. I'm looking for places to start showcasing my talents, but recognize that I haven't made it as a voice actress yet. That said, I don't particularly mind working on free projects. I welcome it if it means I can start gaining experience. My current side project is a script adaptation of 'The House in the Fata Morgana.'. Currently, we have a full cast and I am in the process of finishing our script. Other than that, I am here to spread positivity while we all work towards our goals!

If you have any questions for me, I am happy to share. I cannot wait to speak with you!

While I'm interested in VA work, my current jobs and project currently take priority. Will update here when that's no longer the case!

Sophie was great to work with and she is very talented. I recommend her if you're looking for a voice actress. She recently voiced a store clerk in my latest audio drama, The Stoutkeepers. Be sure to check it out!

I cast Sophie to voice a particularly challenging role and not only did she rise to the occasion, she excelled at it! She has a real gift for giving life to a character and clearly puts her heart into what she does. Paired with her talent for acting and flawless communication, she is a true asset to the team. If you are considering casting Sophie for your project, for lease know that she comes highly recommended!

Working with Rita has been a pleasure! She is very skilled at bringing out a character’s tone and emotion based on what’s happening in a particular scene.

Her ability to adapt to changes I request during recording sessions is great! She did an excellent job at bringing out the very specific vision I had for a particular line, and I was really happy with how it turned out!

I gave Rita some background characters to voice as well, all with unique voices, and she really showcased how good her range is, from doing the voice of an old lady to that of a valley girl.

Finding a time and day to record was no trouble at all; there was even a point when I needed her to re-record a line and she was able to swiftly get it done!

I hope you will consider Rita for your projects! I look forward to recording future episodes with her for our abridged series of Persona 5! :)
