Sonic is the main character of a series of games created by Sega. He's an anthropomorphic hedgehog that's able to travel at the speed of sound through running alone. With his other animal pals, he swoops in and saves the day by defeating the dastardly Doctor Eggman; who desires to take over the world and build his own empire.


This blue blur has quite the attitude! Always getting the last laugh in the face of danger and zipping around without a care, he's full of classic one-liners and sass. He cares for his friends and would do anything for them and chases his dreams and fears head on.

His tone is mid-high with a slight nasal. It's quirky and energized.

Doctor Ivo "Eggman Robotnik is the main and most consistent villain of the entire franchise. With his obvious weight problem earning him the nickname "Eggman" from our hero he seeks to take control of the world turning it into Eggmanland with the power of the seven chaos emeralds and maybe squash a hedgehog or two along the way, though of course, he doesn't achieve this thanks to our favorite speedster's thwartings. With a pile of broken robots a mile high and a shattered spirit, he refuses to give up no matter what. He will get that Hedgehog.


Baldy McNosehair is quite the character indeed, he's goofy and over the top leading him to be used quite often as comic relief, however, does have the potential to be threatening and serious given the circumstance and game. He's loud and eccentric with a clear sense of humor. He's evil for sure but when things don't go his way he doesn't mind getting a little help from a certain pest.


His voice is nutty and rowdy. It ranges from mid to mid-high with a whole lotta gravel.

Tails the Fox

Tails, also known as Miles Prower, is Sonic's best friend and sidekick. He's a fox that was born with two tails that he's able to spin in a propeller-like motion to hover and soar into the air. With his extremely high IQ, he aids Sonic in his mission to trump Doctor Eggman's plans with his own inventions and strategies.


He naturally looks up to and aspires to be like Sonic, especially since he's younger and more on the timid side. He's tenderhearted, sweet, and loyal to all his friends. But over time, Tails yearns to become more independent and confident. He tries to take care of himself and make decisions on his own, saving the world many times with his own inner strength.

His tone is high with a child-like gravel to his voice.

Knuckles the Echidna

Knuckles is one of the many rivals and friends that Sonic has by his side during his adventures. This echidna typically roams Angel Island, where it's his mission to guard a sacred, ancient relic known as the Master Emerald. With his leader-like demeanor and super strength, he's able to beat down any of Eggman's robots that come his way.

Though capable in tough spots and knows when to be serious, his temper is one that can't be matched. He's the hot-head in the main trio and his common sense is surprisingly low. So he's easily tricked and deceived, which can cause his passion and sense of justice to make him to rash things. Even with these shortcomings, he's a very dependable and loyal friend.

His tone ranges from mid to mid-low with a slight texture.

Amy Rose

Amy Rose, also known as Rosy the Rascal, is a cute pink hedgehog who idolizes Sonic and fantasizes of marrying him someday. After a long, perilous journey on Little Planet where Sonic saved her life, she's been head over heels for him ever since. With her Piko Piko hammer and love for the blue hedgehog, she'll fight any foe that comes in between him and her. 


Despite being quite girly; enjoying fashion and shopping, she's not someone that backs down from a fight and is able to strike down anyone in her way. Her fiery and confident personality have younger characters look up to her like a big sister, and she tries her best to look after everyone and has a lot of fun doing it.

Her tone is mid-high with slight nasal and energy in her voice.

Vector the Crocodile

Vector is one of the several side characters in the Sonic universe that uses his unique personality and role to stand out among the others. This crocodile is a huge fan of music, often rocking out through his customary headphones and does performances with his detective agency for some extra cash. He's the leader of the group and has a fascination with money.


Though he's often seen as greedy, he'll solve mysteries for free on occasion if his friends are involved. He's a strong leader who holds his head up high and is intuitive, despite his goofy demeanor. His big mouth and shortsightedness can often get him and his gang in trouble. But even in that case, he'll own up and do his best to take responsibility.

His tone is mid, with his voice being crackly and strained.

Espio the Chameleon

This bright purple chameleon has no trouble blending in with his surroundings, as he's been specially trained in the art of Ninjutsu. Able to play undetected in his missions working under Vector, he's often the one who has to handle all the dirty work in their detective agency. Since he can kill from the shadows, keep focus on the task at hand, and stay calm while doing so.

Epsio's role at his workplace and talents fit his personality like a glove. He's quiet, focused, patient, and intelligent; contrasting with his more childish and playful companions. The silly antics of the agency are balanced by his serious attitude and outlook. With his brains, awareness, and caution, he helps guide his teammates to the answers they're hunting for.

His tone is mid-low to low with moderate texture.

Charmy Bee

Charmy Bee is a honeybee that zooms around as fast as his wings and hyperactive personality can carry him. Being a little kid in a detective agency, he can be a pain in his teammates side every now and then. Him and his teammates bicker a lot and he's not the smartest out of the bunch. But his ability to fly and track enemies make him extremely helpful for solving problems.


He's a classic little kid who's very bouncy, energetic, optimistic, and has little-to-no filter when it comes to how he feels. Money often motivates him to do things, similar to Vector, and he enjoys picking fights and playing around. His antics can often lead to either trouble or breaking the tension. This kid can be seen as not much, but he's actually packs quite a punch.

His tone is high and shrill with a bit of strain.

Big the Cat

Big is an easygoing cat that lives deep within the jungle of the Mystic Ruins with his best pal, Froggy. They both tend to lounge around among the trees and fish for sport. The only time the cat leaves the jungle and goes on grandiose adventures with everyone else is when he has to search for his close friend. 

Even so, his strength can't be easily dismissed. He's both physically and emotionally strong, willing to do anything for his buddies. Though he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, he'll stand up for what his heart says is right. He tends to be calm in tense situations and is a great listener. He's a loyal companion that will stick around until the very end.

His tone is low and he talks really slow.

Shadow the Hedgehog

Shadow is a fan favorite, first appearing in Sonic Adventure 2 he was a huge contrast to our main hero supporting an edgy personality with a backstory to support it. Similar to Sonic, he's an anthropomorphic hedgehog that's able to travel at impressive speeds with ease, however, unlike Sonic, he was genetically engineered by Eggman's grandfather to be the "ultimate lifeform/weapon" at least that's what he remembers. He's confusing as all hell sometimes acting like a cartoon villain and sometimes a dark anti-hero.


This enigma has a raging personality going from, I'm a villain bow before me to loveable bully, however no matter the timeline or medium he's always angsty in one way or another and Sonic ain't afraid to let him know this.


His tone is mid-low to low with a lot of breath with a slight roughness.

Rouge the Bat

Rouge is a femme fatale bat who uses her charm to get ahead. She's a treasure hunter who has a strong fascination with jewels and works part-time as a government spy. Her path often mingles with Shadow's and they tend to team up to save the world for their own gain. The strength and element of surprise she possesses can make her a challenge for anyone to defeat.

She's not shy to admit that she views herself as better than others. However, that doesn't mean that she won't swoop in and save the day when people need her. The caring qualities to her are hidden under a layer of secrecy and deceit that she's developed over the years of being a spy. She's a great ally in both external and internal battles.

Her tone is mid-low with a seductive vibe.

Maria Robotnik

Maria is a young girl who was born and raised on the Space Colony ARK. She suffered from a terminal illness that gradually ate away at both her and her grandfather, Gerald Robotnik. Her sickly years were spent with Shadow, who was the product of a study known as Project Shadow, which was started by her grandfather to try and pick apart a cure for her illness.

Though seemingly frail and small, she holds onto the hope and strength that resides in her heart. She's selfless and nurturing naturally, able to see the good in everyone and puts others ahead of herself. Her courage remained with her even in her final moments, which inspired Shadow to do what's right for both the planet and its people.

Her tone is mid-high with a bit of breath.

Cream the Rabbit

Cream is a young rabbit who loves Chao, especially Cheese and Chocola. She's the daughter of Vanilla the Rabbit and tends to be the cheerleader for both Amy and Blaze. Born with long, floppy ears, she uses these appendages to fly through the sky and help her friends through their fun adventures to save the world.


She always listens to her mother and others, giving them lots of respect and treating them with the best manners she can muster. No matter what she does, the effort she puts in is always her all and she gives everyone a chance. Even some of the more rough characters aren't exempt from Cream's kindness and optimism.

Her tone is high and somewhat squeaky.

Vanilla is a mature, nurturing character who's the mother to Cream the Rabbit. She taught her daughter the importance of manners and the virtues of honesty and generosity. She resides in a cottage near Night Carnival with Cream, her chao Cheese, and Gemerl.

This rabbit is incredibly kindhearted and believes that being polite in any situation is important. She is selfless, allowing her residence be shelter for anyone who would ask. However, it's implied that she can be somewhat strict about her household rules, but enforces it in a gentle way. 

Her tone is mid-high with a lot of breath and somewhat squeaky.

Blaze the Cat

Blaze is a cat from an alternate dimension, known as the Sol Dimension, which is directly connected to Sonic's universe and she reigns as the princess. She actively looks after her world and people, while also guarding the dimension's emeralds, called the Sol Emeralds. She does so with Pyrokinesis, purifying the world with her flames.


Her position as princess has naturally caused her to become emotionally distant and cautious, unable to unwind very well, but also being very capable and aware of the dangers in situations. She's noble and wise, while having the elegance that would be typical of a princess.

Her tone is mid-high and really smooth.

Marine the Raccoon

Marine is an Australian raccoon who resides in the Sol Dimension and lives on Southern Island. She's an aspiring sailor who has a fascination with boats, adventures, and the sea. After meeting Sonic, Tails, and the princess of her dimension, she joins them in their search for the Jeweled Scepter and helps save the day.


She's a girl who hates being cooped up in one place for too long. Her ambitious, adventurous, and thrill-seeking nature always tends to get her into trouble. Despite often being a handful for the people that have to clean her messes, she does begin to mature more over her journey with Sonic and she swears to grow up one day.

Her tone is mid-high with an Australian accent.

Silver the Hedgehog

Silver is a hedgehog that was born hundreds of years into the future with Psychokinetic abilities. However, he travels back into the past with the help of Mephiles in order to help bring peace to his time. As everything was thrown into darkness and chaos by a creature known as Iblis. He's ordered to kill the one that triggered Iblis to come back, that being Sonic the Hedgehog.


He's someone who's driven by a strong sense of justice and the kindness of his heart. Often labeled as naive and immature by others, he's an optimist and realist who just wants to right the wrongs of his past in order to protect the people that he loves. Hope is something that he never gives up on, having endless determination and justice.

His tone is mid-high to high.

Cosmo the Seedrian

Cosmo one of the main characters of Sonic X although in the later parts of it who also serves as a love interest for Tails. She's the last of a plant-like alien creature that was wiped out by the Metarex. With the help of Sonic and the others, she plans to finally stop their plans even if it means giving up her life.



Cosmo is unbelievably sweet! With such a gentle and kind heart it's hard to imagine her hurting anyone, although it did happen once. Even with her bright personality she often feels guilty for being unable to save any of her race, this leads to her being hard on herself trying to accept blame for situations she had no control over and using the term "unworthy". safe to say, she has some self-esteem issues. Despite her resourcefulness shes very clumsy and finds herself in quite a bit of trouble very often.




Her tone is mid to mid-high and it extremely soft with a lot of breath.

Christopher Thorndyke

Christopher Thorndyke "Chris" for short is one of the main characters of Sonic X. Unlike a lot of the others listed here, Chris is actually human! After Eggman's accidental chaos control which sent Sonic and his friend to an unknown world Chris wakes up to find Sonic drowning in his pool, he risked his own life to save our favorite rodent and thus began their journey to become very close friends. After getting to know everyone and the fun dies down Chris joins Sonic on his quest to keep the world safe from Doctor Eggman's evil schemes.


Chris is a well behaved and well-mannered boy with a strong sense of adventure. He's energetic and always willing to jump in and take on Eggman himself head on if he has to, He's a smart kid who knows how to take care of himself and can definitely hold his own when he needs to, though sometimes annoying he's definitely a good friend and a good member of the team!


His tone is mid-low, but since he's a kid would be more in the female range, it's extremely rough and energized.
