DESCRIPTION: 

Sinister Season follows a story of nine people who have contracted an unknown disease that is said to have risen from the apocalypse that had started a few years prior. Being able to live under these conditions for this long, a suspicious billionaire, who has collected the money of those who died to said apocalypse, offers to give the nine salvation in the form of flyers. Each person are given a special hazmat suit to protect them from the outside. As they all search the city one by one, they find their supposed flyer. The flyer invites them to a remodeled warehouse that isn't run down and destroyed like any other building in the area. The "billionaire" has a plan. A plan to cure the world. He thinks these nine people will be great assets. The flyer looks promising, and all nine of them meet up at the lobby of the warehouse, where it's all clean and spotless. But little do they know that the billionaire has arranged a game to play...

RULES:

1. You must be 13 years old OR OLDER to audition. Anyone younger than that will not have their audition considered.

2. Discord is a MUST-HAVE for this project. It is the fastest way to contact me, and the fastest way for me to contact you.

3. Put as much emotion into your auditions as you can! (Don't be lazy.)

4. Good microphone quality is required. I don't expect you to have the best microphone possible, but make sure that there is little to no background noise, and make sure your voice is not too quiet and not too loud.

5. NO VIDEO FILES! I expect you to submit your auditions in audio format. (Preferably .mp3 and .wav)

6. By auditioning, I expect you to commit to this project, and I also expect you to turn in your lines before the general deadline. Exceptions will be given and will last 1-7 days if there is a family emergency, an emergency containing yourself, an illness, or depending on the situation.

EDITING: 

I will use basic editing and animation for this project. I am and will be using Capcut (PC Version) because it's free, easy to use, and easy to navigate.

    You can only audition for 15 more minutes! I will now start shortlisting and denying audition, and will be DMing people on Discord if they got cast! I will start casting at approximately 7:15 - 7:30 PM CST, and should last about 10 minutes. If you do not get a DM after 7:45 PM - 8:00 PM CST, you have not been cast.   • Deadline Update!

    Per the guidelines I set myself, I have now brought the deadline back to Sunday, March 24th. That day will be the final day for auditions, and I will cast the roles and publish the cast reveal video on the channel.

This character is the PROTAGONIST! 

He is the main lead in this project.


Levente (Luh-ven-tay) is the first of nine supposed survivors of the major apocalypse. He is open to anyone and willing to make new friends, but finds he is unable to do so. He is broken up about his girlfriend being lost, and fearing that she is dead. Although he can't find her, he seeks to continue living in her stead.

Salvador has been living alone for 4 years. Thought he is an adult of 20 years, he struggles between the decision to keep on living or to succumb to the deadly air outside so that he can die peacefully. The only thing keeping him alive is his dead mother's wish. She wished that during this apocalypse that he would fight and stay alive no matter what. He's planning to keep that wish until his dying moment.

Flores is an extrovert and an introvert all at once. On one hand, she loves to make new friends and especially loves to talk. But on the other hand, she created her own hobby of hating people. She picked out the ones that stood out and found at least something out about them to despise. She barely trusts anyone after the apocalypse, and she also doesn't expect to live through it.

Azalea hated talking to people. She could never go to big events or gatherings because of her inability to what she describes as "keeping a conversation afloat". She's never been the type to talk a lot, nor have anyone to associate herself with, but she has learned over time. She's also grateful of her still-alive mother, who refuses to step outside for obvious reasons.

Korália spent most of her life residing in the community orphanage. She was being taken care of until the age of 17, when she got kicked out and was forced to live outside on her own. When the apocalypse officially starting kicking when she was 19, she had found a good home by then. But the owners of that home were said to have died in an outskirt just outside of the neighborhood. She still doesn't know what happened to them.

Hanzou loves to be lazy. He likes other people doing stuff for him, and no one has ever saw him actually do anything for himself. Sometimes, he believes he's everything and more, but beating the right amount of sense into his brain can knock him down a notch. People to him are incredibly weird and not to be bargained with.

Leon is suspicious of everyone he meets, because he cannot be too sure if anything is worthy of being trusted. In his early life, he loved talking to people, especially the people he made friends with. Now, ever since the apocalypse made its way, Leon lost all contact with everyone he loved and that put him in a state that even he couldn't comprehend.

Kayoko acts like a psychic. She's interested in the way the human body works, and takes that knowledge to pretend to tell people their futures. Consider it as a hobby of hers. She picked it up during the apocalypse, when no one was available to save her dying brother, which also left a mark on her. As she lives with her sister, she finds out that this life may not be as bad as she thought it was.

Sakura is Levente's best friend ever since elementary school. She was one of the ones who lived through the apocalypse with Levente while everything else went to shit. She had been living in a secret hideout for several months instead of her own home because it had been invaded by a couple of greedy homeless people. She drew in her spare time and sung to herself, as that was the only way she could stay sane.
