The character of Viaus Vistaria is a legendary magic assassin from the world of Elder Scrolls. He is cunning, charismatic and woefully indifferent to any opinion other than his own. The setting of his story takes place in the fortress of ice, where he and six other wizards studied magic under the watchful eye of the legendary mage, Shalidor.
After sometime Viaus began experimenting with mind magic in secret, and cast several runes in the towers of his fellows that slowly began to poison their minds. Eventually this drove each of them to a relative and unique madness formed through their own desires.
Unknown to Viaus, One of the mages he drove insane eventually became a lich; a dangerous undead wizard that forgoes their soul. When checking up on the mage, Viaus is attacked by the Lich and is forced to take refuge in the Lich’s Phylactery, a sort of Horcrux like item from the Harry Potter franchise.
Viaus and the soul of the Lich, Naravae Krymstar, spent their hundreds of years trapped in this item until the player character destroys it and releases them both upon Nirn once more. While Naravae is nought but a spirit, Viaus still walks in his physical body.
The player is then tasked with killing Viaus when his treachery and evil spellwork is revealed by Naravae’s lucid ghost, detailing that her descent into necromancy was caused by Viaus’ maddening spells.
The player then encounters Viaus in the final act of the story where they have the option of helping them escape to the surface. Viaus explains he is laughably unconcerned with the consequences of his experimental spellwork, and often felt his work was ridiculed by the other mages of the sanctum for the magic he excelled in was labelled as little more than deceit.
Viaus is alarmingly honest about his actions and sees no benefit from lying to the player about what transpired. He refuses to elaborate on what he’ll do once he reaches the surface, but prior to that he intends to raid Shalidor’s library and vault for the many spells and powerful artefacts that lay within.
Depending on which side the player chooses, the player will fight either Viaus or 3 Psijic Monks who have come to the Sanctum in response to the tampering of an artifact. Should the player side with Viaus, he will banish Naravae and Myravae spirits, leaving their fate unknown.
Viaus’ main character trait is his unending curiosity and wonderment, though he is easily bored.

I was curious what would happen. Anyone can fool a fool, but to deceive a collective of powerful wizards?
‘Tis an adventure of the mind! One that granted endless fascination… for my part at least.
Though death would be a path of wondrous discovery, ‘tis not one I wish to walk upon just yet.
This character is a sort of demon general who serves one of the 16 demon princes present in Elder Scrolls lore. She is a typical stereotype of an evil demon and delights in the killing and torture of mortals. This encounter is played with a kind of silly humour to match the stereotype of the character.

You dare challenge a Xivkyn lord?
I… hmm… I’m feeling merciful today, mortal… I will… um… leave you be.
Champion! Forgive me, for I did not know you were His chosen thrall.
The Psijic Monk is a powerful wizard in charge of safekeeping the
artefacts of a ruined magical dungeon that the player happens to find themselves in.
If the player chooses to ally with the villain, the player meets them as an adversary.
If the player chooses to ally with the heroes, the player meets them as an ally.

I... I must consult with the Psijic Masters, but know this is not the end of the matter.
This is your final warning. Leave now, or incur the wrath of the Psijic Order.
Halt. Whether by intention or circumstance, you have entered a domain under the watch of the Psijic Order. Return what you have taken and leave at once, or suffer the consequences.
The Character of Myravae Krymstar is the High Elf ghost of a long dead master wizard of Mysticism, the most illusive and wondrous school of magic. Once she was an esteemed member of the legendary Psijic Order, a group of powerful mages who seek to save Nirn from dangerous wizards and lost magical artefacts, before being chosen to study underneath one of history’s greatest wizards within his personal sanctum. This is where the story takes place and wherein the character finds Myravae.
She wanders the sanctum in despondent mourning, both of her sister and the sanctum as a whole, for it was once a vast underground temple of magical study that now is nought but a ruin. Myravae’s ghost lingers within for a purpose unknown even to herself, and she has long forsaken the task of figuring out what tethers her to the mortal realm of Nirn.
Myravae is the first character the player “should” encounter and as such is the most prominent within the story, providing lore and secret knowledge of the ruined sanctum. However, living as a ghost for centuries has transformed her once patient demeanor to one of intense sarcasm and cynicism. When the player first approaches her, she is unwilling to engage in conversation besides the most polite version of “go fuck yourself and die”, for she has seen many adventurers and exploreres meet their end within the Sanctum.
Should the player progress throughout the dungeon (and not die) she will appear before the play surprised and mildly impressed. She will then ask a favor of the player; to kill the Lich (undead zombie wizard) that resides in one of the ruined sections of the dungeon. Myravae explains that the Lich to be one of masters who studied within the dungeon, but is unwilling to go into further detail. (The Lich is in fact Myravae’s sister Naravae, but at this point this is unknown to the player)
Myravae suspects that she is tethered to the mortal realm of Nirn, because she abandoned her sister in her time of need. In life she shared a bitter rivalry that was further exasperated by both Myravae and Naravae being selected as apprentices to study underneath the legendary lore figure Shalidor, the great Nord wizard. Naravae complained of hearing voices and hallucinations, but Myravae gave no thought to her suffering and when it was too late, Naravae had transformed herself into one of the undying monstrosities known as Lichs.
Back in the present day and after tasking the player with killing the lich, the player will inform them that to truly kill the lich, you must also destroy its phylactery, a sort of horcrux like item holding Naravae’s soul. Upon killing the lich and destroying the phylactery however, Naravae’s ghost/soul is released along with the villain of the story (Viaus Vistaria). Naravae explains that Viaus twisted her mind with dark magics and that she only came to realise this once her soul had separated from her body, for the magic of the mind needs a mind to warp, and does not work upon a soul.
Myravae and Naravae continue to have a complicated reunion (as Myravae has spent many hundreds of years despising her sister for becoming a Lich, as the process to become one involves vile and dark magic) while the player is tasked with hunting down Viaus before he escapes to the surface. The player then has the option of siding with Viaus or Myravae & Naravae, leading to two different endings. (Three if the player decides to say fuck this and not get involved further)

Have my hands suddenly manifested into the mundane world? No? I didn't think so. Yes, it must be you. (Thorny))
I am Master Wizard and member of the Psijic Order, Myravae Krymstar. I came at the behest of Shalidor to be his master of Mystic Knowledge. (Inform)
For one, it is a blight of a creature that does nought but add evil to the waking world. Secondly, I suspect my monotonous haunting is tied to its presence here. Were it to die, I may finally be freed from this infuriating ruin. (Inform)
Role Filled and Completed, updating it here for organisation.
