(PAID) Sanguine Secrets: Demo Chapter

Project Overview

  Sanguine Secrets is an upcoming novel and audiobook about sapphic vampire heiress; Lucille Morinaru. The story follows Lucille's ongoing feud with her family following an unfortunate fatal battle between her and her father. 

  Our demo chapter serves as just that; a demo. A fully voiced (and paid) read-through of our first [mostly unedited] chapter, so in the future we have reference for what we're looking for in terms of the full thing.

  This first chapter is about 6 pages in length, and each part is paid based off of the number of lines. In the future, after obtaining more funding, we hope to pay more handsomely. Payment can be given out via CashApp, Paypal, & Venmo.

 All of our characters are adults (with few exceptions), so we do prefer adult voice actors and actresses over anything else. 

 BASIC RULES & REGULATION TO BE FOLLOWED

- We ask for voice actors at or over the age of 15, please (15+). 

- Please read all given audition lines in AABBCC format! We'd like to hear a range of takes on the given material, do not be afraid to put your own spin on it!

- While super high-quality mics are not required, we ask you do not have any background noise or static present in your audition. Light editing is allowed, just don't go super heavy on the reverb.

- Slating is not required.

- Main communication will be through discord, so we ask that you leave your username, though if you do not have or desrire an account we can also speak through other means.

  • Callbacks!

    Good time-of-day to all reading ! We here at Sanguine Studios have been absolutely ecstatic to see the turnout for auditions! (470 auditions is absolutely insane)

    After a vote in our discord server, and a small talk with our directorial team, we have decided to do a small round of callbacks!

    Around the 24th we'll begin dm'ing 3-4 voice actors per role (with exception of Lilith and Violet) to do a guided re-take, then shortly after (on the 26th), our official cast list will be decided and released.

 Narrator of our first demo chapter!


  For our Narrator, we're looking for a voice (male or female) with a mature cadence and steady tone. Even without portraying a character of your own, we hope you're able to bring a personal twist and light emotion to your reading. We want you to read with a sense of mystery, since you'll be the voice guiding the story itself, you're the one most responsible for captivating the audience.

  Our flat rate of pay for this first demo chapter is $70 USD, and you will be reading around 1,900 words in total.

  • Lucille can’t help but give a small smile in return. She knows she couldn’t muster up the courage to tell her. She couldn’t tell anybody. If she did, she’d most certainly be shunned forever. Though, Olivia is her best friend. She would never judge her, right? Even if she is a sorry excuse for a vampire. What kind of vampire can’t drink from humans? Can’t hurt them, even? She’d been meaning to tell her father about her…dilemma, but she couldn’t even imagine how he’d react. He wouldn’t shun his daughter, would he? Maybe if she just came clean, he’d understand and maybe even help.

  Victor's a smart man, and spends plenty of time rubbing that in people's faces as slyly as possible. A master manipulator and a teacher's pet at heart, Victor's voice is flat and sarcastic, leaving no room for error in speech or calculation. (quite frankly he just sounds like Kusuo Saiki in the eng. dub)
