Project Overview

Narrative first person adventure PC game set in a retro sci fi universe - Think Star Wars or Alien(1979 movie).

Existing similar games are Tacoma and Firewatch.

David our main character takes a job on a space station and ends up in an extraordinary situation.
During his adventure he talks to others over a hand held radio.

The game is mainly played by exploring a space station and talking to people over hand held radio

I need voice actors to deliver a natural, belivable dialogue witch nuaces.

I need the recordings to be of a good quality, with no breathing sound or puffs in the microphone.

There might a need for "pick up lines" later aswell, like if something changes or such. I hope it wont be necessary, but you never know.

    Hey! Huge thanks to everyone who auditioned! I am super impressed by the available talent and it has been really hard to choose who to cast for each role since there have been so many good auditions. Many of you I will keep in mind for upcoming projects! A friendly advice for some of the auditions -Make sure the audio quality is good, ofc some stuff can be cleaned up but try and get good quality to start with. -Make sure the recording environment is good, no echoes or similar. -Listen through your audition before sending it in. Is the audio quality good, is this the best I can do with these lines? I understand how it is to apply to many roles. I've done that as well as an artist, and everyone wants you to do an art test. But it's important to give it your best shot since in the end there are many applications for one position so what you show must be the best you can do.   • You are getting introduced to your new manager, over a comms radio.
    You:Hello! I just arrived, I'm David.
    Manager:Ah! Yes, we've been expecting you! Welcome to Titan refueling station!
    You:Thank you! Who am I speaking with?
    J:My name is Jack and I am the manager of this station.
    David:Pleasure to meet you Jack! I am happy to finally be here.

  • Just found a dead person, then reporting to a friend over a comradio:
    "Veronica! Are you there?"
    She responds: "Hey! I'm here!"
    "I found someone! She's dead!"

  • A friend you have been helping turns on you/betrays you.
    "I helped you and I trusted you."
    Sad, disappointed, half angry, not crying.

Veronica is a friendly character and the main character(David) first point of contact.

  • Someone calls you on your com radio, and you dont know who it is:
    Radio:"Hello? Testing, testing!"
    You:"Hello, Who are you?" (U are a bit worried but also thrilled to hear someone new´s voice)
    Gives this response:"I'm David, I just started working here."
    You:"Why do you have Saras radio?" (U are a bit worried but also thrilled to hear someone new´s voice)

  • Your friend David calls you on your com radio:
    David:I just read someone's journal.
    You:"David! How can you? That stuff can be very personal!" (Pretending to be offended, like ther person has done something forbidden)
    D:I know! I'm sorry! I didn't know it was a journal when I picked it up.
    V:"I am messing with you! Did it say anything exciting?" (Funny, your joke worked.)
    D:Sadly no. Just depressing stuff, don't want to be here, miss his family and so on.
    V:Oh, yeah going away to work on a desolate space station for a couple of years isn't for everyone.(Serious.)

  • Your friend David calls you on your com radio. Flirty/Friendly

    David:This guy brought his weight training gear and he is lifting some heavy weights.
    You:Is it too heavy for you?

    D2:Nono, this is nothing compared to what I lift.
    You:Yeah, sure Arnold. So you are not a big guy then?

Serious, manager.

  • First time talking to a person you need help from, trying to convince him to help.
    You:I am. I can probably answer all your questions. Right now we need to help each other.

    D:Why should I help you? I am also obviously an AI.

    You:The company will sooner or later come here. If they find out that an AI they have built and paid for has killed the whole staff they will be sure to remove any trace of it.

  • You overheard a conversation over a coms radio, you reconize the voice.
    "I can't just ignore this any longer. I heard your conversation. Who are you?" (u are both curious and puzzled, the person you hear is supposed to be dead)


  • Answering questions conversationally.
    D1:I don't feel like I am an AI. 

    You:How did you think it would feel?

    D:I don't know but my whole identity feels like I'm a human. I have this whole life before this. Friends I have met, things I have done and it all feels real. Like it happened and it is a part of me.(uppdaterad)

    You:We made you that way. One of the hardest challenges with AI is motivation. Having you believe you are human gives you the same motivation as a human.

  • Your new employee arrives and you talk to him over comradio:
    "Ah! Yes, we've been expecting you! Welcome to Titan refueling station!"
    He asks you why noone is there to meet him when he arrived:
    "Sorry about that, we are a bit short on staff and I'm stuck in administration with all this work to do. What did you do to end up here?"

  • "Just out of curiosity. Did you talk to the staff when you were on Titan?"
    Fishing, like you want to see if the person lies.

  • Your employee is annoying to you, keeps reporting about notes you dont want him to find and read, since then he will understand what you are hiding from him.
    "Stop pestering me about every note you find and just connect the damn servers."
    Angry/Annoyed.

  • Trying to contact someone over a coms radio, calling and calling..
    "Calling elevator, respond elevator."

    Then you get a response and you say:
    "What a relief, we thought the storm got you."

  • Sceptical, like checking if its a lie
    "You said your name is David Miller right?"

  • You have just made a huge misstake, you are afraid and worried what the implications of this will be.
    "Damnit! You are also an AI! I just gave you the only way we know to stop the AI."
