Hello! This is my Fanganronpa project (fangame/video series based on the danganronpa series) and I would like your help! Currently, I am the only person working on this project so I would like any help that I can get. Please note that the current deadline isn't official and that it will be updated. That being said, if I don't get enough applications, this project may not go through, so bear that in mind when applying.
Danganronpa Recollection will be a video series available on youtube! The series will focus on Sayuri Tomura, Yuki Kimura and their 14 companions, all with an ultimate talent as they find themselves suddenly in a seemingly abandoned city. They are greeted by the malicious bear Monokuma who claims to be the mayor of the town, and his secretary Mononuki, who tells them that if they want to leave, they must kill a fellow civilian and get away with it.

Sayuri is the ultimate therapist, and the first protagonist of the game. She is open and kind, like Kaede but a bit more shy, and is willing to help people who need it. Her voice should be similar to Komaru's or Asahina's.

Yuki is the second protagonist of the game. She has an amazing memory and has earned the title of ultimate memoriser. However, she seems to forget important details throughout the story, and Sayuri finds out that her mind blocks out traumatic memories, due to an incident when she was younger. Sayuri attempts to help her, but Yuki insists she doesn't want her help. Her voice should be deep and uninterested, like Maki or Kyoko.
[Dismissive, Wanting to be left alone] I'm Yuki Kimura (You-Key Key-Mu-Ra), ultimate memoriser. Don't forget it, I know I won't.

Ken is the ultimate businessman; he got this title due to being able to take his father's company to insane heights, gaining lots of attention due to his amazing foresight and decision making. He acts as a best friend character to Sayuri (like Kaito but a lot more intelligent). His voice should be similar to Kaito's or Yasuhiro's.
[Cheerful] Hey! I'm Kenichi Yamazaki (Ken-Nee-Chee Ya-Ma-Za-Key), but call me Ken. I'm the ultimate businessman. Sup?
[Uneasy] K- Kill?! This is some kind of prank, yeah?
[Happy] C'mere Yuki! Gimme a hug- (gets punched) [Shocked] ACK! Owww...
Haruka is the Ultimate Unlucky Student, most things she does goes badly, and lots of people joke about her. This lead to an obsession with success that results in her being an antagonistic force to Sayuri (like Byakuya sorta). Her voice should be kinda bratty and annoying like a female Kokichi sorta.
[Arrogant, Bratty] Oh, hey. I'm Haruka Watanabe (Ha-Roo-Kah Wa-Ta-Na-Bay), Ultimate Lucky Stu- (falls) OW!!
[Defeated, Ashamed] Fine... you got me, I'm actually the Ultimate Unlucky Student.
[Malicious, Excited] You can't stop me... I WILL win this killing game!
(Note: She wouldn't have an evil laugh here; she's just desperate to win the killing game.)
Jin, the ultimate performer, doesn't go into detail about his past, he is very mysterious. He says he can perform in multiple ways, whatever pleases the audience most. For his voice, try doing korekiyo's but deeper, or just anything deep and mysterious.
[Neutral] Jin Ueda (Jin You-Ay-Da), Ultimate performer... hm hm hm! [Playful] You must hear me play someday, I promise you'll be overjoyed.
[Bragging] What do I do? I can act. I can dance. I can play instruments. I can write. Whatever the audience desires.
[Angry] I wouldn't possibly expect you to understand. Yes... the fools will never understand.
Hiroshi is the Ultimate Activist, and has traveled all over the world in defence of human rights. He's very friendly and strong willed, but a bit shy. He is very good friends with Hideo. His voice should be similar to that of Hajime's, but higher and quieter.
[Cheerful, Formal] Hi, I'm Hiroshi Takagi (Hi-Ro-Shee Ta-Ka-Gee), Ultimate Activist. It's so nice to meet you!
[Terrified, Shocked] Th- this is just cruel... How could you do this!?
[Cautious] Hideo, please, don't do anything rash,
Manami is the ultimate comedian. She is very joyful and commonly cracks jokes to lighten the mood. However, sometimes her humour can come at the expense of others. She started doing stand up at a young age and has been selling out shows for years. For her voice, try and make it like Ibuki's but a bit less extreme.
[Cheerful] Hey hey hey!!! I'm Manami Inoua (Ma-Na-Mee E-No-Wa)! The Ultimate Comedian! Take it easy, yeah?
[Joking, Cheeky] If she forgets traumatic events, then how will she ever remember Haruka's face?
[Angry] Hey! Murder isn't funny! You can't make jokes like that when real lives are at stake!
Kira is the Ultimate Strategist. He is very intelligent, and excellent at predicting things and creating plans that benefit him or his clients the most. He tends to think before he acts, rarely getting emotional, and likes to think about the most logical and beneficial course of actions. Because of this, he is quite useful when it comes to solving crimes too, but isn't really interested in being a detective. His voice is calm and composed, like a mix of Kyoko and Hajime.
[Neutral] Hello. I'm Kira Kobayashi, the Ultimate Strategist. It's a pleasure to meet you.
[Explanatory, Informative] What does my title mean? Essentially, I am very gifted at making efficient plans, so governments, companies and even the military can seek my aid when they need good tactics. I'm pretty good at chess too.
[Joking] You're lucky I'm not going to kill anyone; if I did, I'd make sure you'd never figure it out, (small chuckle).
Kaoru is the Ultimate Host and is very extravagant when it comes to their appearance, speech, and overall existence. They try to be as mysterious as possible, hiding their past, and choosing to remain androgynous when it comes to gender. For a voice, I don't have many suggestions. Try and sound mysterious (but not creepy) and be as gender neutral as possible. Even if you can't do a good gender neutral voice, give it a shot! It doesn't matter THAT much.Â
[Sassy, Cheerful] Nice to meet you hun! I'm Kaoru Kinoshita (Kow-Roo Ki-No-Shee-ta), the Ultimate Host! Parties, Weddings, Funerals, I do them all!

Claudette is a very... interesting person. She is always full of energy and arrogance, and rarely gets upset. For her voice, I'm gonna be quite specific, I'd like her to sound like Constance von Nuvelle from Fire Emblem Three Houses. Typical Entitled Social Media star, not much else of a personality haha. She was actually forced into becoming a social media personality by her mother, who was obsessed with becoming one as a child. That's not to say she doesn't like being one, it's just quite stressful for her. Her voice should be kinda bratty and sassy, kinda like Junko's from the Danganronpa 3 anime, but not nearly as irritating.
[Proud] My name is Rina Sasaki (Ree-na Sas-kee) ! Ultimate Online Influencer! You already know who I am, you probably follow me. [Uncertain] Right? RIGHT?!

Ritsuko is the ultimate freerunner (a kind of parkour). She's quite intimidating and doesn't say much. She's often in very strange places, such as on top of a cabinet or hanging off of a chandelier, sort of like a cat. Her voice can be high like peko's or deeper like Kyoko's, I'm not sure for this one. Experiment!
[Neutral] Ritsuko Iwasaki (Rit-Soo-Ko E-Wa-Sa-Key). Ultimate Free-runner. Nice to meet you, I guess.
[Innocent, Naive]...What? I was just stretching.

Hideo is the ultimate survivalist. He's very hot headed and won't hesitate to get physical if he wants. He's still quite caring though, and has strong principles, and seems to be quite close to Hiroshi. For his voice, try something in the range of Kaito and Mondo.
[Cheery, Boastful] How's it goin'? I'm Hideo Aoki (Hee-Day-Oh Ay-Oh-Key), Ultimate Survivalist!Â
[Arrogant] Do you honestly think I won't survive this game? HA!Â

Masato Endou is the Ultimate Insurance agent. He was forced into the family insurance business at a young age, mainly just doing chores for his father, the CEO. But Masato's father saw great potential in him, and suggested he become his father's assistant. Masato doesn't like his job, wanting to be an actor instead, but his family refused to support him, wanting to use his talents in their company. His voice should be low and depressing, like Jataro Kemuri from Ultra Despair Girls; obviously an older voice though.
[Lazy, Miserable] Oh... hey... I'm Masato Endou (Ma-Sa-Toe En-Doe), Ultimate Insurance Agent... Nice to meet you... I guess...
[Sarcastic] I definitely LOVE being an insurance agent! It's why I'm so lively and colourful.

Dai has a very high presence in any room she's in, due to her large physique and booming voice. She aims to keep people as positive as possible, and resents Masato due to his negativity. For her voice, try and be loud and commanding, like Kiyotaka.
[Inspiring] Dai Masuda (Die Ma-Soo-Da), Ultimate Motivational Speaker! I know things look dire now, but don't fear! We can make it out of this!
[Determined] Don't get your hopes up, bear! We will never kill each other!
[Commanding] Masato! Your incessant negative attitude is rubbing off on others! I respectfully ask that you stop!
Hachiro is the ultimate Auto Racer AKA Car Racer or whatever. He primarily prides himself on being a playboy, and most girls can't have a 2 minute conversation with him without some pick up lines dropped. When turned down however, he'll get very defensive, wondering why he's not good enough etc. For his voice, try a mix of Teruteru and Yasuhiro.
[Arrogant] Hey baby, name's Hachiro Takahashi (Ha-Chee-Roe Ta-Ka-Ha-Shee). Try to contain your excitement but I'm the ultimate auto racer.
[Annoyed] You know what the best part of racing is? Pickin' up chicks! And there's no hot girls here! [Patronising] Oh sweetie, don't be hard on yourself, I have VERY high standards on who I find attractive.
[Scared] H- Hey don't fuck around! There's no way people are gonna just let me rot in here! They're obviously gonna come and save me... right?
DISCLAIMER: Monokuma is male yes, but because of his high voice, people of any gender can audition.
Y'all know who Monokuma is; he is usually the headmaster of the schools the story takes place in, however, this is set in a city, so he is the mayor. He is sadistic, evil, and has a complete disregard for human life, but is also carefree, joyful and funny. He finds Mononuki irritating and is constantly "firing" her. Search up his voice if you don't know it.
[Dramatic] IIIIII ammmmm MONOKUMA!!!! And I am the mayor of this fine city... Despair City!
[Grossed out] EW! Don't be gross Mononuki! We gotta keep it professional! You're Fired!

Mononuki (Who is a tanooki) is Monokuma's Assistant. She is mildly in love with Monokuma and is constantly flirting with him. She is kind of shy but don't get me wrong; she's just as evil as Monokuma. Her voice should be similar to Kuma's but higher.
[Angry] Hey hey! No violence against the boss! [Malicious] You know what happens when you disobey him...
[Nervous] B- Boss... will you... marry me- OW!
[Naive] Me and the boss aren't very large, so we don't have very big brains.
Re-opening art roles! Honestly, just put anything here that would fit danganronpa! In need of people who can do the backgrounds of locations.

Basically, you'll be in charge of helping me make sure people get work done and are following the rules on the discord server. I'm looking for people from different time zones than mine (which is GMT) so that someone is active at all times. To apply, tell me about your past works, and why you should be selected. You can be selected as a director if you're already in another role.

As a writer, you will be primarily writing all the text that will be in game. I've planned out the overarching story but I may need help planning motives; murders; trials etc. I will work as a writer on the game too but I need all the help I can get! If you're a good comedy writer that's bonus points as I have no idea how to make Manami funny :o). For your application, just put a sample of past work, or write something new! Obviously it's gotta be among the realms of Danganronpa, so don't post a children's book if you've written one haha.

As a concept artist, you will be designing the characters appearances! You're more of a designer, so you don't have to be amazing at drawing to be selected. Ideally it would be great if you could design one of my characters, but if you'd rather not, send one of your own. Don't draw a character that already exists (visually; If there's a character in a book for example you can draw an interpretation of it). Finally, I won't use any designs here in the final product if you don't get cast.
