Project Overview
Founded in 2018, Pocket FM was built with a vision to redefine the entertainment space by pioneering the audio-series category. We pride ourselves in embedding the storytelling elements with a layer of content personalisation in the longer format that resulted in the emergence of “binge listening” as a consumption habit. Today, we have emerged as the preferred digital audio destination for a refined storytelling experience with the audio-series format, riding on our diverse and engaging content.
With our unique storytelling approach, we have breathed new life into audio storytelling, reviving it as a mainstream entertainment format and unearthing unique and unheard stories across the world for our listeners. Today, we are building the most extensive repository of audio content on our platform.
With over 80 million listeners community, spending an average of over 110 minutes every day, the platform has witnessed over 45 billion minutes of streaming
PocketFM is testing out a new way to record audio for their serial dramas. I have been a voice talent for this company for a year. Before, I was given several scripts a week to record and turn in daily, totaling 1 hour of finished audio a day. It would be my job to voice all of the characters that would come in and out of arcs.
Now, the company wants to try using a full cast of VAs. There will be a designated narrator and a handful of actors who will provide the dialogue for the characters.
The turn around time will still be daily, however, it will not always total 1 FH of work, but could be up to that much. As this will be a collaborative, punctuality and communication are paramount.
I personally have mostly recorded romance dramas but I have been told that they are wanting to delve into fantasy and have hired a new team of writers to accomplish this.
We are looking for ten actors that I will send to the producer for approval for the next stage of the project.

Characters will vary as the content of the scripts change. Actors should be comfortable with a wide range of voices, ages, and accents.
You must have a professional recording set up and be able to get your audio to ACX standards. No background noise, grainy sounds, pops, etc.
