Hello, I am looking to make a well-made Overlord Abridged. I want people to see this online and wonder if they watched the actual show. I want people to debate whether the abridge is better or worse than the original. With that, I want to be able to work with those aspiring to be voice actors and give them an opportunity to put their voice out there and for it to be something they are proud of.
Be warned, this will include a lot of adult/crude/TFS style humor, so just be aware of that.
I ask for professionalism from any who would like to be involved. I do ask that if you audition and are cast that you watch the anime if you haven't already. Its available on Funimation.
PAYMENT
Though this project will initially be on low-budget due to personal financial constraints, I do hope to be able to pay fair rates once the project gains more support or my personal situation changes. Details can be discussed when necessary.
COMMITMENT
This is a long-term commitment to this project I won't ask for too much of your time simply the days needed for readthroughs, recording lines, and recording character sounds. But I do ask when we do another episode to work with me in scheduling and continuing to voice the same character. There may be times when I ask you to voice minor characters and extras. You will be compensated accordingly. You also get the first try at auditioning for new roles once cast to the project even if cast as a minor character.

Sadly, due to some outside issues, my voice actors for Mare and Aura had to leave the project. This being the case, their roles have been reopened, so please feel free to audtion for them, as well as Enri! THank you and good luck!
The player behind Ainz is a bit of a socially inept nerd who has trouble making friends and has a few abandonment issues due to a troubled past. As a result, he's very protective and clingy with his friends and loved ones but is also a bit of a spaz when he's suddenly thrust into unfamiliar situations.
When playing the character of Momonga/Ainz, he takes on a persona closer to what we see in the original show. He is often prone to trying to use what he thinks are cool one-liners, but they tend to fall flat, unfortunately.
His player voice should sound a bit like your typical anime protagonist, but his Ainz voice should sound deeper and more imposing, while still allowing room for humor and other more lighthearted emotions.

Fuckin’ nailed it.
After having her settings changed by Ainz, she became obsessed with him, desiring him as a husband. She's kind of a ‘no sex till marriage’ type gal. She's super protective of Ainz, borderline Yandere at times. Her creator was uber-Christian, so she shares some of the stereotypes associated with that.
Generally, she is very friendly, except with Shalltear, who she has had a long-standing feud with since their inception.

Sebas is kind of the only one in the tomb who can kinda see that Ainz isn’t all he claims to be. He's a tad sassy, but rarely rude, if that makes sense. He's sort of the adult in the room who tries to nudge or guide the others in the correct direction when its clear to him that they have no idea how to move forward.

They don't have long, I imagine. I am of course referring to the fact that a wellspring of valuable local information is drying up as we speak...and by 'drying up', I mean getting cut down like the beast you had the elf twins fight earlier.

A bit of a tomboy, she is full of energy and always likes to find new fun things to do. She doesn't like to stay in one place too long and is by far the more immature and childish one between her and her brother. That being said, she conducts herself just a little more respectfully when addressing Ainz specifically, much the way someone would to an elder. She also has a somewhat crude sense of humor, sometimes making jokes that one would normally scold her for, like a middle-schooler who always makes 'deez nuts' jokes, or makes inappropriate innuendoes in an attempt to seem more mature.

By far the more mature one between him and his sister. He’s generally very soft-spoken and is probably the most reasonable and anti-violence of the Floor Guardians. He does his best to be the voice of reason when it comes to planning, opting for more diplomatic approaches to solving problems, even when he knows his suggestions will likely fall on deaf ears. He's generally friendly and polite with the other floor guardians if a bit timid.

Designed to be your archetypical Scottish warrior. Uses a LOT of Scottish slang when he speaks, occasionally making it hard to understand what he's saying, especially combined with his thick Scottish accent. He shares similar energy to The Scottsman from Samurai Jack. He acts very bombastically and cocky with most new opponents, but if they earn his respect, he tends to act more civil and dignified towards them.

Sweet village girl who acts like the Big Sister to the whole village. She's very responsible and caring towards her loved ones, but she tends to get a little hot-headed when people threaten those she cares for. She's also very gracious and polite towards her elders and people she holds in high esteem.

Your job would be to assist me in ironing out plot lines, characterizations, and the general details and jokes of every script. There would be a lot of back and forth between us, and my biggest requirements are that you know how to have fun and can be reliably called upon when I need you. I want this project taken seriously, but I don't want any sticks I the mud dragging it down, aight? Glad we agree.
BIG thing, while comedy will obviously be a big part of this series, I do want the more serious and dramatic parts of the writing to be good, so please be aware of that.

You will assist in editing the project. Your focus would be lip flaps and assisting the main editor with specialty shots and transitions. MUST HAVE ADOBE PRODUCTS. You will not deal with any audio or sound effects unless asked to do so.
FOr lip flap-specific work, if you don't already have examples, I'll ask you to do this test for me.

Your goal is to match the lip flaps to the audio without any background stuttering, while also keeping the scene moving. Please try to include the moment when he moves his head as well.
IMPORTANT: No lip flap should be more than 3 frames or less than 2 frames. The exceptions are only when words are drawn out, or if the actor is speaking too fast to utilize traditional means.
