Project Overview

Looking to sort out the entire cast for my Series within this week!

Hi Everyone! I'm currently studying Character Animation and want to make something that will truly stun my University! Sorry for the short deadline, I want to pick up Character Artists, Background Artists, Voice Actors as soon as possible (I hope you understand!!) Thank you for submitting! 


Set in L.A, in the late 1960's, Mark, a burnt out Musician and Suzanne, an aspiring Artist are shocked to find that they've been set up on a date by their friends. Both of them are shut ins and possess their own "conscience" which...is really a talking demon on their shoulder. They have no filter and make life a living hell (hence the term demon.). Between following their dreams, coping with societal norms and trying not to go insane, LOVE is the last thing on their mind, that is, until Suzanne and Mark see that they both have demons whispering in their ears.

Suzanne is a hardworking young woman. 

Hellbent on becoming an animator or ANYTHING to do with the field, she moves to L.A to pursue her dream. Confident in her mind, yet anxious when she speaks, Suzanne displays herself as a neat and tidy individual, but deep down shes messy, cluttered and very worried about almost everything.

Mark is an obsessive person. He has a mild anxiety which stops him from leaving the house (except to go to work). He can only drive a certain route, and anything that makes him feel unsafe will make him shut down. However, this is pushed down deep inside and on the outside, he presents himself as over confident and at times, a bit closed off. He may be percieved as confident, but as soon as something triggers him, he will either shut down or freak out.

  • "This art - they're wonderful - but wheres my music?? I must have swapped papers with that girl... ah well...time to improvise!

  • (Talking to Dog) "I can't wait to get away from this city, feels like I'm suffocating in this apartment. I can't wait to get a huge house with an amazing view...and a nice car... and all the treats you could ever want, boy!"

  • OH...nonononono I am NOT driving. I REFUSE. No way. I-i just can't. Theres one route I travel, and thats to and from work. That's all I'm doing. If i get off my route - I'm sorry, I just cant do it, Suzanne.

Amell is Marks "conscience". The exact opposite of Mark, They're a loud, outspoken but quite charismatic little thing. Littles known about them but they likes to face dire situations with annoying jabs and the occasional "joke".

  • Come on, you know you wanna go and see her! Quit the fussing and go get her! You know where she lives!

  • I never mean to hurt you, kid. I only want you to what you want, deep down. And for some reason, ya cant accept that. Its cuz of that big, stupid, brain of yours. Has so much music in it you forgot to put some courage in there too.

  • OH OH OH - LETS CRASH THAT PARTY OVER THERE! Remember when we were younger and i tricked ya into going to your first party? Hehe, you thought it was gonna be some JAZZ thing, ya weirdo HAHA! Ahh... good times, eh pal?

Suzanne's old best friend. Stubborn and a little bit bratty, She gets a quite scared and a little jealous when Suzanne tells her she's going to realise her dream to become an Animator.
