Nekodeito (+18 Eroge Visual Novel)
Project Overview
I'm writing on behalf of NoGooD Games to announce the aperture of the public auditions for Machiko, the heroine of their debut eroge visual novel, Nekodeito!
Nekodeito is a dating sim eroge about an affectionate catgirl who moves in with the player character and eats all their food. What begins as a temporary arrangement quickly grows into a much deeper bond. The pair discover they’re each at a crossroads in their life, and if they don’t do anything to change their course, happiness may elude them forever. The game is heavy on cute romance, with plenty of comedy and lewd, loving eroticism.
This is a paid role to create a voice sample for the game's demo, which will be recorded with the aid of live direction. Please note, due to explicit material in the game that is inappropriate for minors, we cannot consider any auditionees under the age of 18 and will be verifying age and identity as part of the audition process. The chosen VA will have to record an initial amount of 125 lines at a rate of 2$/line. Provided that the game is successfully funded, either via publisher or crowdfunding, the amount will be increased to 1300 or more lines!
The initial public round of auditions is composed of three lines with direction, and contains no 18+ content. Please state your name at the beginning of your recording, and record all three lines. Ad libbing is fine if it helps you to give a more natural delivery!
In the callback round, successful applicants will be first asked to provide identification, and after being verified as over 18 years of age, invited to submit a second audition. The second audition will include one line with explicit 18+ content.

Age: 22 Voice type: cute, energetic
The “runt” of her mother’s first litter, she and her eleven sisters have strained relationship with their mother who has for most of their life been an absentee parent. Following an argument, Machiko boarded a train hoping just to watch the scenery pass by and calm herself down, but was instead caught riding without a ticket and left stranded in the city. She meets Boss behind a convenience store when he comes to throw out the garbage, catching her digging through a dumpster for something to eat. She accepts his offer to stay overnight, which then turns into staying indefinitely, marking the beginning of their romance. She loves all kinds of flavours, but especially strong ones. Her stomach is made of cast iron.
Personality
She's highly responsive to affection, not shy of touching or being touched, and happily returns this warmth in kind. She's had to grow up quickly, having taken over the responsibility of guardianship over her younger sisters at just a young age herself. As such, she has developed a strong sense of responsibility. Running away from her circumstances the way she did has presented her with doubts about herself and her relationship with her family, as well her own future. The outings, meals and quiet moments she spends with Boss are sincerely happy times for her, a break from the tension of home. Machiko is overwhelmingly a positive and energetic girl, but also a poor liar and poor at concealing her feelings. In moments where doubt overcomes her she displays a genuine vulnerability, and she struggles to determine if her feelings are just a whirlwind of excitement or if the love she feels deeper than that.
(Boss reveals he felt depressed always cooking for one, so for the longest time he's been eating nothing but takeout and instant meals. Machiko tries to cheer him up and lighten the mood.)
“Don't be sad. You can eat every meal of the day with me from now on! And I'm always hungry, so feed me lots, okay? Hehehe~”
(Machiko lays on the couch, despondent. Her head in Boss' lap, she reveals for the first time the full situation at home. She speaks of her younger sisters, her sisters her own age, and their pained relationship with their Mother)
“I’ve been more of a mother to them than she has. She thinks she can look after them, and that I should be out working like my littermates. The only reason they had to get jobs is because she’s run out of guys to leech off of.”
(Machiko enquires what's for dinner, and reveals she's an expert at making the dish. She gets fired up, and proudly insists upon preparing it... until she realises she doesn't know how to turn on the stove.)
“No, no! Boss makes dinner every night, so tonight you're getting my special curry udon as a treat! Stand back! Huhuhu! Huuu... Huh? How does this even...? Uh... uhhhh... B-Boss? Help.”
