Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater Comic Dub [PAID]
Project Overview
This is a project to produce a fan dub of the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater comics created by Awkward Zombie as one collection in time for the release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
The video is largely complete, only needing the final performances of a few remaining characters to tie it all together. The final video will be uploaded to Youtube, Twitter and Instagram.
Channel Experience:
My experience as a Director, Editor and fellow Voice Actor spans as far back to late 2017. For nearly 2 years straight I produced weekly comic fan dubs and other fan parody productions, working hands-on with nearly 50 different voice actors.
Project Requirements:
Standard quality recording results are expected:
USB or greater microphones (such as Blue Yeti, XLR mics, etc.. No phone/built-in computer mics).
No reverb/echo.
No special effects (like "radio filter", "darth vader mask filter", etc., we need to be able to add our own SFX if necessary).
Minimal plosives/slurring/excess noise.
Ability to effectively capture performances that include shouting.
Ability and availability to be live-directed, through Discord call.
Audio exported in wav. format.
3 takes per line (AAA/BBB/CCC format).
Voice Match to Acting Ratio:
We are looking for voice actors that can closely match the English performances from the original game, however we will be prioritizing comedic timing, vocal expression and audio quality.
Someone who can sound like the character with amazing acting will be prioritized over a perfect voice match/impression with a weaker perfomance.
Performance Delivery Time:
Availabilty for live-direction through discord voice call may be necessary. Final recordings will need to be completed and delivered through Email, Google Drive Link or Discord as a wav. file by August 6th to allow time for final edits to the video.
Payments:
All payments for work done will be made through Paypal (in USD) no later than August 8th.
Release Date:
The final work is aimed for late August, before the release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
Future Work:
We pride ourselves with our growing connections to a variety of talent, and we plan to do more than just this video, including original content such as animation, original comic dubs, etc.. Actors cast may be offered additional work in the future unrelated to this project, and actors who audition may also be considered for such projects, regardless whether you are cast for this video.
While not confirmed, depending on the success of this project, we have desires to make additional Metal Gear Solid comic dubs based on Awkward Zombie's works.

Description:
Dr. Clark, aka Para-Medic; The lone medical advisor on Operation Snake Eater. She is 28 years old, and is renowned for her medical prowess and knowledge. During the mission operation, she remains aboard the CIA air fortress providing radio support to Snake, their mission field operative.
Voice Profile:
Her natural speaking voice has a generally soothing tone, mixing maturity and patience with youthfulness and thoughtfulness. In one of the comics, she outright shouts in confused desperation at the main character, so this will deviate from her norm. We are looking for someone who can get as close to her original vocal performance for her general speech, while having comedic flexibility to perform her exaggerated scene.
Context Notes:
In the first audition line, she is calmly instructing the main character, Snake, over radio on how to treat his broken arm.
In the second and third audition lines, she is shouting at Snake over the radio about his terrible, self-administered stitching job involving a bullet wound. These lines should have a mix of genuine concern, and some level of comedic exaggeration. She is a highly trained professional watching a man do her job in the worst ways imaginable.
In the third line, the line in brackets ("Does that matter?") is NOT spoken by Para-Medic. It is spoken by Snake, and is there only for context for her following response.
Sources:
It is highly encouraged to review her English performance from the original game. Here is one such example: YouTube

(Calm, informative) "Snake, your left arm is broken. You'll have to perform surgery on yourself. Get out your medical supplies and figure out what tools you'll need to do it."
(Confused and upset by idiocy) "Snake what are you doing?!"
(Upset) "But you did everything in the completely wrong order!" [Does that matter?] "OF COURSE IT MATTERS!!! You didn't even remove the bullet!"

Description:
An enigmatic woman who became a legendary soldier. She was part of the CIA and its special FOX unit before turning and joining the GRU, where she leads her Cobra Unit in the aims to change the tides of war. She is 42 years old.
Voice Profile:
Her voice is collected, with an almost motherly and philosophical undertone, edged with sterness by decades of war experience and authority.
Context notes:
The scene she appears in is within an actively flying chopper, so she has to speak over the chopper's loud propeller and engines.
She is debriefing her Cobra Unit, so she has a manner of authority throughout all but the third audition line.
"The End" is the name of the character who is a living time bomb, who will die and explode at any moment due to his incredibly old age.

(Calling to attention for debrief) "Listen to me, my Cobras!"
(Debriefing) " You've each been equipped with a microexplosive device. If you die, your body will immediately detonate. This will prevent your weapons and remains from falling into enemy hands."
(Slightly hesitant, after being asked if The End could die any second) "The End is very old. So... He could."
