Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater Comic Dub [PAID]
LadyCloud for Para-Medic
Word Count: 52
Description:
Dr. Clark, aka Para-Medic; The lone medical advisor on Operation Snake Eater. She is 28 years old, and is renowned for her medical prowess and knowledge. During the mission operation, she remains aboard the CIA air fortress providing radio support to Snake, their mission field operative.
Voice Profile:
Her natural speaking voice has a generally soothing tone, mixing maturity and patience with youthfulness and thoughtfulness. In one of the comics, she outright shouts in confused desperation at the main character, so this will deviate from her norm. We are looking for someone who can get as close to her original vocal performance for her general speech, while having comedic flexibility to perform her exaggerated scene.
Context Notes:
In the first audition line, she is calmly instructing the main character, Snake, over radio on how to treat his broken arm.
In the second and third audition lines, she is shouting at Snake over the radio about his terrible, self-administered stitching job involving a bullet wound. These lines should have a mix of genuine concern, and some level of comedic exaggeration. She is a highly trained professional watching a man do her job in the worst ways imaginable.
In the third line, the line in brackets ("Does that matter?") is NOT spoken by Para-Medic. It is spoken by Snake, and is there only for context for her following response.
Sources:
It is highly encouraged to review her English performance from the original game. Here is one such example: YouTube
For context to your audition lines, it is also encouraged to read their source material, beautifully illustrated on Awkward Zombie's website here:

(Calm, informative) "Snake, your left arm is broken. You'll have to perform surgery on yourself. Get out your medical supplies and figure out what tools you'll need to do it."
(Confused and upset by idiocy) "Snake what are you doing?!"
(Upset) "But you did everything in the completely wrong order!" [Does that matter?] "OF COURSE IT MATTERS!!! You didn't even remove the bullet!"
