Hello everyone! My name is DK, or MasterDK, and on my primary YouTube channel, one of my main forms of content is comic dubs. Especially Marvel comics. On my channel, I wanna make it a goal to do a series of Marvel comic dubs surrounding different story arcs that took place in the 2000s. And for this, I'd like to start with Civil War, one of Marvel's biggest crossover events. And of course, I'd like to cast voice actors to take part ^^ I also plan to do comics following the Civil War arc in the future, but one step at a time. If you are curious as why specific characters who play a role in Civil War aren't in this casting call, it's because they have already been casted through my previous comic dubs.
RULES FOR CASTING:
1. After this dub of Civil War is done, I plan on tackling comic book story arcs that take place after it. So if you are cast in a role where it says they will be returning, please make sure I can keep in contact with you, because I'll likely ask you if you'd like to reprise the role.
2. Use a decent mic when auditioning. No headphone or laptop mics. USB or XLR are preferred.
3. Please respect the roles that call for POC voice actors, as I feel representation is important in my projects.
4. Please include a Discord tag with your audition so I can add you to the project server. If you don't have one or have no interest in making one, you may leave an email address.
5. Once added to the project server, please respect the rules of the server, as refusing to do so will not only get you kicked from it, but the project altogether. I won't work with anyone except those who are professional with collaborations and respectful of others.

The best he is at what he does. A lethal killing machine with a dark past and an animalistic fury, but also has the great potential to be a hero, making him one of the most prominent members of the X-Men. The voice should be deep, growly, can be intimidating but also compassionate.

The god of thunder and ruling prince of Asgard. And not to mention one of the classic Avengers. But in this story, a clone is made of him to fight alongside the registered heroes to take down those rebelling against the Registration Act. He is designed to be just like his god counterpart. Thor's voice should be booming and authoritative. Power should be on full display when he talks.

A human/Kree hybrid and former member of the Air Force. Her powers derived from a Psyche-Magitron machine, which would make her into the superhero Captain Marvel, later Ms. Marvel, and one of the most powerful members of the Avengers. Her voice should be tough as well as diplomatic.

"Maybe they're right this time, Goliath. Who the hell can justify this?"
Leader of the Fantastic Four, and husband to Susan Storm of the same team. An exceedingly brilliant scientist and has the superhuman ability to stretch his limbs to impossible lengths. His voice should sound very intellectual and mild-mannered, except of course in drastic situations.

Member of the Fantastic Four and the wife to its leader Reed Richards. She is able to turn invisible as well as create forcefields. She was merely a college student when exposed to high levels of cosmic radiation. The voice should be sympathetic and patient in average situations, especially when supporting her workaholic husband.

The king of Wakanda, a technologically advanced nation in Africa, and the sworn protector of his kingdom under the Black Panther mantle. As a king, he has made many allies with other nations and would eventually become an Avenger, fighting for their nation as well as his. His voice should be domineering and displaying authority. POC voice actors are strongly preferred for this role. Accents are welcome.

"A super police force covering all 50 states? And me helping him hunt down the super heroes who disagree with it? I don't think so Reed. We don't like it when America interferes in Wakandan affairs. And I can only assume the feelings are reciprocated."

After Nick Fury goes in to hiding, Maria Hill takes over as the temporary director of SHIELD and helps enforce the Superhero Registration Act. Her voice should be demanding and easily tempered.

A grieving mother of a young boy who was killed in the Stamford explosion. At first she directs all of her blame on Tony Stark for funding the idea that superheroes are above the law and above responsibilities regarding damages they cause. Over time though, after Stark works to change and honor her son's memory, her demeanor towards him changes. Her voice should carry sorrow and resentment, but later support and understanding.
"YOU FILTHY PIECE OF CRAP!"
"You fund this sickness Stark! With your dirty billions! The blood of my little Damien is on your hands right now!"
"I also wanted to give you this. My son Damien's favorite toy since he was 3 years old. Just to remind you why you're doing this."
Former professional surgeon who endured an accident that damaged the nerves in his hands, Stephen Strange found The Ancient One and began learning the mystic arts, eventually becoming The Sorcerer Supreme. His voice should therefore sound mystic and almost otherworldly, possessing a knowledge above human understanding.

"His name is The Watcher, Spider-Woman. And he only appears to record moments of great change and enormous upheaval. His presence now does not bode well."

Blinded by radioactive material as a young child, he grew up to not only be a successful lawyer by day, but a crime-fighting vigilante at night, with heightened senses and agility given to him by the accident. His voice should be able to be charismatic, but fighting his own inner demons and sorrow as his brutal hero persona.

Growing up in the streets of Harlem, Carl Lucas aka Luke Cage was in and out of juvenile homes before being put in Seagate Prison. While attempting to escape, a device was used to kill him. Instead it was used at above-normal power levels, turning him into an almost indestructible human being. He swore to use his powers for good and enlisted in Heroes For Hire, and later in The Defenders. His voice should be bold, tough but also charming. POC voice actors are strongly preferred.

Member of The Fantastic Four and younger brother of member Susan Storm. He is one of the team's wisecrackers and is a self-proclaimed chick magnet. His voice should be cocky and smart-alecky in nature.

Prince of the underwater city of Atlantis. He has grown to trust a handful of humans in the surface world, including certain members of the Avengers.

Professional lawyer and also possesses the Hulk's power after her cousin Bruce Banner saved her life with a blood transfusion. As She-Hulk, she maintains her intelligence and is able to live a mostly normal life. She should sound strong but also intellectual.

A hero who is close friends with Captain America. While having no superpowers, he uses a jet-powered flight suit and has several weapons at his disposal. POC voice actors are strongly preferred.

A biochemist and former lab assistant of Hank Pym. He later used his technology to become the giant hero Goliath. His voice should be booming but still charismatic. POC voice actors are strongly preferred.
"What kind of name is Rockwell Dodsworth? And how the hell did I end up as a community outreach officer? I told Nick Fury I wanted to be something cool, like an actor or a race car driver. You think he could maybe give me something else?"
"Get ready for the shortest comeback in history Thor!"
A time-travelling soldier and a powerful telepath/telekinetic. A former weapon used against Apocalypse who eventually became a member of X-Force. He should sound intimidating but also diplomatic.
"There's something weird going on here Captain. I'm getting nothing over my Info-Net connection in terms of panic signals or..."
"Get the hell out of here boys! It's a trap!"
Starting out as a young runaway and close friend of Tandy Bowen, both were captured and experimented on by an evil scientist. As a result, Tyrone took on a shadowy appearance that he must conceal with a cloak and is able to teleport himself and others. He and Dagger often pose as vigilantes, having has several battles with Spider-Man. They would later assist several superhero teams. His voice should be soft-spoken and he speaks with a slight stutter. POC voice actors are strongly preferred.

A rich girl who became a runaway, she became friends with Tyrone Johnson at a young age. They were both captured and experimented on by an evil scientist. As a result, she developed an energy called lightforce and can produce daggers in combat. She and Cloak would work primarily as vigilantes and would occasionally team up with other superhero teams. Her voice is up for interpretation.
"Where have you been? Everyone thought you were dead."
"Are we too late?"
Yes, the very famous Greek demigod. In the Marvel universe, he is known to fight alongside earth's mightiest heroes. The voice should be booming and commanding.

After taking part in an ionic ray experiment by Baron Zemo, Simon Williams was given immense strength and durability, and took on the hero name Wonder Man. His voice is up for interpretation.

Wife of Dr. Hank Pym and long-time member of the Avengers, using Pym's technology to fight alongside them. Her voice should be loose and charismatic but serious when it needs to be.

After falling into a serious illness as a young girl, her parents used an untested serum to revive her that derived from several spider species. As a result, she gained a lot of similar abilities to Spider-Man with additional powers such as venom blasts. She would become an agent of SHIELD and later an Avenger. her voice should be charismatic and intelligent.

Powerful mutant telepath. Known as The White Queen of the Hellfire Club, and is also occasional headmistress of the X-Mansion. Her voice should sound persuasive and intelligent.
"Perhaps we just know what it's like to be persecuted while you're fighting the good fight Mr. Stark."
"Where were The Avengers when Genosha died, Iron Man? Where were you when our babies were burning?"
A mutant from a dystopian future who travelled back in time and found a family with the X-Men. He can absorb great amounts of power from other beings, including magic and is a skilled marksman thanks to his time in his future's mutant police force. His voice should sound brutal and mysterious. POC voice actors are strongly preferred.
"Iron Man? Can we talk?"
Genetically mutated with cat powers, even becoming a full human/tiger hybrid after a ritual performed by The Cat People. She would end up joining The Avengers and becoming one of its most prominent members. Her voice should be charismatic and also mischievous.

A supervillain that was once part of one of Red Skull's groups called The Skeleton Crew. His voice should sound creepy and intimidating.

A mutant with long adamantium claws on her hands and a self-repairing machine body. She is a former member of Weapon X-Force and developed an obsession with killing Wolverine. Her voice should sound intimidating and aggressive. POC voice actors are strongly preferred.
"Doesn't look too dangerous to me"
"What's so funny, Captain? You like our little jokes? You share Bullseye's sense of humor?"
A deadly assassin who takes pure pleasure in killing, and is famously known for single-handedly defeating Daredevil and murdering Elektra. He should sound charismatic but intimidating.

A supervillain with minor telepathic abilities and is able to use the energy known as Darkforce. Her voice should sound charismatic and also sinister.
"Take it easy guys. It's only Johnny and Sue back from a mission."
Former member of The Rangers and now a member of the Avengers. While living in Mexico, she became radiated by a fireball that plummetted in the desert sand, implanting her body with powerful energy. Her voice is up for interpretation. POC voice actors are strongly preferred.
"What's bigger than stealing the plans for their Negative Zone prison? We get in there and free our people. And this starts looking like a fair fight again."
A member of the Serpent Society and received training from Taskmaster himself. She works primarily as a vigilante. her voice should sound charismatic and a bit flirtatious. Texan accents are strongly preferred.
"Why the hell does he call it 42 anyway?"
An Earth-born mutant Kree hybrid who always had a muscular physique, and a member of the New Warriors. Her voice should be tough but charismatic.

Oceanographer who has helped Prince Namor fight off those who threaten Atlantis, wearing a specially designed underwater suit, He has also fought with the Avengers. His voice should be intelligent and determined.

Cousin of Prince Namor and member of the New Warriors. Her voice should sound determined and aggressive.
"On your feet Nitro! And don't try any of your stupid explosions because that's only going to make me hit your harder!"
A supervillain known for his massive explosive power. His voice should sound intimidating.
"You're playing with the big boys now."
A mutant who can communicate with microorganisms and member of the New Warriors. His voice is up to interpretation.
"These guys are totally out of our league, man. No way we should be going in there."
Professional martial artist and member of the New Warriors. His voice is up for interpretation.

A criminal martial artist on a revenge spree against superheroes. Her voice should sound aggressive and determined.
"Everyone in costume! It's a raid!"
A lowlife criminal who stole a battle suit that allows him to fly at great speeds. His voice is up for interpretation.
