Locker 79 | Animated Series

Sypnosis:

Each day, at night, something happens. People who hide in lockers after school ends do some horrible things. A particular locker is not assigned to any student for some unknown reason. Roselle Astor and their friends must figure out what is happening, but will they be harmed or will they get to the bottom of it?

Hey everyone! I'm back with another project. I, and my 11th grade English teacher, S. Holt, made this one. She helped me with the plot, so I took it and ran with it. This is the result. Hello, Holt! It is I, your student, out here making projects!

..Yeah, I tried to be funny.


Anyway, my English teacher and I both thank you for auditioning! We both love and appreciate you very much.


Now, let’s get onto the professional stuff... I guess.


RULES AND REGULATIONS:

-- You have to be 13+. This is not only because of Discord's ToS but also because of the topics. No exceptions.

-- You have to have Discord. Make sure to give your tag in your audition. Also, you MUST be okay with joining a public production server. You will receive the link via a reply to your comment or private messaging.

-- THIS PROJECT IS LONG-TERM. Don't have time? Don't audition. Simple as that. Also, the standard deadline for voice lines is 5-days. You will be given all of the episode scripts that I have right now and will be given more as I write them. There are 10 episodes in total!


**DESIGNS SHOWN ARE NOT FINALIZED** (however they’re simple portraits of the characters in general)


This series will be animated with Live2D Cubism. Yes, that does mean episodes will take a bit to make. Rest assured, they will get done!


Extra information: I, Starrytchi, will be voicing Roselle Astor. Their basic information, however, will be public, even though they will be a closed role. You can tap the "+" button to see.

  • DEADLINE CHANGE

  • Some updates!

    Hey everyone! (who's following) Everyone's auditions so far are AMAZING, and I'm so impressed by everyone's talent! With the scripts, I'm hoping to have a few more written by November 13th. Oh yeah.. about the deadline: So that's on a Sunday, yeah? I attend morning and afternoon church services and casting takes A WHILE. (with my method) So if I ultimately don't have enough time that day, I will cast either the 12th or the 14th. Possibly the 15th. Do take into consideration I am a minor in high school (a junior) so that's a thing. But I assure all of you it will get done! By the way, my English teacher is super happy people are auditioning! I want to say thank you on her behalf. She told me to keep her updated. With that in mind, I'll likely let her listen to a few. She'll have no authority in casting - that's all me - but she's working on this project too (writing-wise) so I figured I'd let her listen to a few. And as always, happy auditioning! Protagonist, 14, Demigirl, She/They. Amber is someone who’s ambitious and adventurous — always looking for the next adventure to go on. She’s pushy sometimes and can come off as toxic, but she’s a good person at heart. She tries to push Roselle to be more adventurous and gets frustrated when Roselle refuses to be that way. Though again, she has the best intentions. Her voice is Medium-High.

  • (Excited) "Roselle, did you hear about that rumor?! The rumor of the students in the locker! We NEED to go check it out!"

  • (Scared) "Dan.. where are you? Where did you go...?"

  • (Angry) "You guys think doing this is okay?! I'm sorry that people have treated you wrongly, but that is NO EXCUSE to do stuff like this! Please, rethink your decisions..."

Protagonist, 12, Female, She/Her. She is Roselle’s little sister and loves her sibling to bits. She would do anything to protect Roselle and knows her sibling loves her too. She’s extremely innocent for her age and is probably too kind for her own good, but people love her for that. Ansley is also extremely hyper! Her voice is High.

  • (Relieved) "Sib, I'm so happy you're okay! I was really worried..."

  • (Mad) "They really think hurting other students will prove their point? Are they for real?"

  • (Fearful, yelling) "Please.. don't hurt me! RO, PLEASE HELP ME!!"

Protagonist, 15, Male, He/Him. He’s a curious young boy who only wants to learn more. He can be a bit oblivious and airheaded sometimes, but he’s a good kid. He’s been raised to be a gentleman and is consistently like this. He’s always putting himself first and cares deeply about the ones he loves. His voice is Medium.

Main Antagonist, 16, Female, She/They. Being the leader of the “rebellion”, she has a lot of hatred toward the education system. Elly has suffered at the hands of the school system for way too long now and has cracked. She wants her revenge and is long past the point of sanity. Deep down, she’s just a hurt teenager who just wants to be okay. But there’s no going back for them, they are too far gone. Her voice is Medium-High.

  • ('Psychotic'-like) "Ohhh, so you think I'M the problem? AHAHA.. really? That's funny! You and the rest of the students are the problems, Roselle!"

  • (Angry) "Vincent, would you snap out of it?! We're doing this for a reason! Revenge! You can't just give up now."

  • (Creepily calm, manipulative) "Ah~ you finally came. It's a shame your little friend had to be hurt.. this could've been prevented had you kept your nose out of other people's business. Roselle, Amber.. stop acting like you're heroes. Because.. you're not."

Extra character, 45, Male, He/Him. He’s the principal of the school. He’s not shown physically in the series, but he does talk over the intercom. He cares about his students, and only wants them to be safe. He’s enthusiastic when it comes to school activities. But serious and cold when it comes to misbehavior. As most principals are. His voice is Low.

  • (Cheerily) "Good morning students! We won our football game last night. Woohoo!"

  • (Serious, disappointed) "It seems the school was vandalized last night. I have an idea of who, but I will be looking into it further. No student is allowed within campus premises after 5:00 PM."

Supporting character, 34, Female, She/Her. She is Roselle and Ansley’s mom. She, unlike Ryan, had a bit of a hard time accepting Roselle but came through. She too is like Ryan, protective over her children. Though she’s less skeptical than Ryan about the situation, she does come off as harsh. But, like Ryan, Millie also comes through in the end. She’s also a very hard-working woman and loves to spoil her children. Her voice is Medium-High.

  • (Flat) "Roselle, we don't want you going to the school. It's illegal. Not only will you suffer legal consequences, but we will punish you too."

  • (Suspicious) "I don't believe you. Don't get me wrong, I don't think you're lying. You're a good kid after all. But.. that stuff isn't real."

  • (Regretful, blaming herself, and on the verge of tears) "I'm so sorry for not believing you, Ro. I should've believed you from the start. Poor Dan wouldn't be in this situation if it weren't for my stupidity!"

 Main Protagonist, 15, Agender, They/Them. Roselle is someone who generally keeps to themself and stays within their friend group. They’re a really nice person and are even friendly to those that hurt them personally. They’re not popular, but they aren’t bullied — just kind of neutral. However, if someone hurts someone they love, that’s when they’re about to beat someone to a pulp and leave them for dead. Their voice is Low.

Supporting character, 36, Male, He/Him. He is Roselle and Ansley’s dad. He loves his children deeply and accepts Roselle for who they are. He’s very protective of his children and comes off harsh sometimes, but Roselle and Ansley know he loves them. He has a hard time believing the situation Roselle brings up at first. Though later on he comes through and does. His voice is Low.

Supporting character, 30, Female, She/Her. Sydney is Dan’s mom. She’s a single mother of only Dan and is content this way. Dan’s father is not in the picture, but he and her both don’t let that bother them. As a result of her being a single mother, she’s highly protective over her son. She does anything in her power that she’s capable of to keep Dan safe. Her voice is Medium.

  • (Panicky, shaky, nearly crying) "Dan hasn't come home in days! I thought maybe he was staying over at a friend's house.. though yeah it is weird he didn't text me.. but that isn't the point! I need him back, please! H-He's all I have!!!"

  • (Angry) "WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING! DAN IS MY SON, I DEMAND THAT WE DO SOMETHING!"

  • (Absolutely devastated) "WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S HURT?! WHAT?!.. O-Oh my god.. no... NO! THIS ISN'T HAPPENING!"

Antagonist, 15, Male, He/Him. He is a young boy who has been outcasted by the school and also wants revenge. Unlike Vincent, he doesn’t resent himself for what he’s become. He’s happy, actually. He’s happy he can stand up for himself. He, like Elly, is too far gone past the sanity line. His voice is Low.

  • (Losing it) "You think I can go back to before? Being outcasted? Beat up?! NO. I'M NOT GOING BACK TO THAT. YOU CAN KISS THAT GOODBYE!"

  • (Accusing) "Vincent, are you seriously trying to back out? Are you trying to BETRAY US?!"

Antagonist, 15, Male, He/Him. Like Elly, he too has been wronged by all means by the education system. However, unlike Elly, he can come back from his mistakes. Though, Elly dragged him along and made him truly believe the students deserve all of this. He doesn’t like what he’s become, but, he’s scared of Elly, and knows they are dangerous. His voice is Medium.

  • (Upset) "I can't do this anymore. We're hurting people! Do you understand?? WE'RE HURTING PEOPLE, YOU IDIOTS!"

  • (Mad) "Leave them three alone! They didn't do anything to us..."

  • (Brainwashed) "It seems you two really did do something. And to think you guys were different..."
