Project Overview
HOLY CRAP WHAT AM I AUDITIONING FOR??
JUNO is a 2D indie animated series that has a focus of guiding the dead to the afterlife. It follows Juno, a 17-year old formally outcast member of the Guild of Crows, with her partner, Desiree, a member who hates her job as much as Juno loves hers all whilst a god is slowly forming from within the guild. This is STUDIO ETERNAL’s first and only project.
It’s a fantasy-based, comedy adventure show and although we’re currently working on the pilot, these will be long term roles, as the series is planned to have a 12 episode long season 1.

Please state your name and the character you are auditioning for at the start of each recording. If auditioning for more than one character, please record in separate takes instead of all in one recording.
Any recording not following these guidelines and rules will be immediately disregarded. Lines are picked from various scripts and the pilot. JUNO is a non-union, remote project. You will need to provide your own equipment and setup. Roles have genders, but we are open to viewing anyone’s audition, you do not need to match the gender at all, STUDIO ETERNAL welcomes anyone. the main character, after all the show is named after her! A 17-year old member of the Guild of Crows, she’s energetic, confident, and determined in what she does and incredibly headstrong. The vision for Juno is a young mid-low voiced female voice that has a slight rasp in it. This will be an ongoing role. Juno must be voiced by someone on the ASD spectrum, there will be no exceptions.

(Fierce) Ya know, It really hurt my feelings to be tricked like that..and to think of even hurting my friend? Yeah, that’s not going to slide with me..
(Soft/Emotional) You’re dead, Ender, and that’s okay. It means you can go to a place where you’ll never have to be hungry again.
(Lighthearted/Sassy) Because it’s funny. You have to lighten up sometimes, it’s always the same thing over and over again it gets boring.
As the overarching leader of the Guild of Crows, Ezra holds himself in high regard and cares about everyone a part of the guild as if they were his own. He’s compassionate, knowledgeable, and sophisticated. We are looking for a male mid-low voice who can command a room, yet sympathize with those below them. The actor who voices Ezra will also provide any additional male voices. Ezra is looking for a voice that can mimic someone in the mid-life (50s-60s)

(Defensive) Enough, Dione. It seems like she did well enough to even receive a gift from the beast. Nothing happened, nothing’s in ruins…you need to have more faith in her.
(Frustrated) I can’t be the only one here who believes this is ridiculous. There is no division here, no one is better than the other, and no one is above all.
(Context line by Juno) I’ll be just fine! The job will get done in no time, you hear me!? It’ll be the best job that’s ever been done here (Caring/Soft) I missed seeing you like this, Juno. It’s been a while.
The third and final leader in the Guild of Crows, she is the record-keeper and the one who’s in charge of assigning members their assignments. As much as there’s not much cursing, the best description of the voice we’re looking for is a female mid voice who can sound mean and like a bitch. Dione is mean spirited and takes it with pride, extremely full of herself, and hates children. The actress for Dione will also provide any additional female voices. Dione is looking for voice that can mimic someone in their mid life (50s-60s)

(Annoyed/Disgusted) I don't want another whiney complaint in my office. I get enough of those in-person.
(Angry) This is outrageous! How many more need to be slaughtered for us to realize it’s hopeless?!
(You choose) Nuh uh uh, dear. Clearly, you're incapable of even defending yourself. A shame, truly.
One is supporting and ongoing, Ender will only be in the pilot, both of these will be played by the same actor/actress. Both characters use creature sounds/growls/roars. Rasmes is one of the Leaders in the Guild of Crows who’s incredibly wise, but cryptic, he is the mentor and assists the members in their future goals. We are looking for a low male voice that can mimic a voice in the low 70s. Ender is a decaying beast of fury. The "antagonist" of Episode 0. Lines are made up of roars, growls, huffs, whines, and more. Sounds Cat-like (think of panthers, pumas, etc..)
(Sympathetic) You can only keep a wild spirit idle for such a short time. It wasn’t like she was bad at what she did, just misguided
(Defensive) It's only been a few days. The pot needs to simmer, not boil over. The results from both of them are quite unique. Don't mock the messenger, there's always a reason they say what they do.
(Concerned) How much more blood needs to be shed on our behalf? No, we cannot continue to send in groups like this. We just need the right one... the right guide...
