Every week I will extend the deadline for another week until all roles are cast, in other words; the project is open indefinitely.
Honkai Star Rail Attacks Showcase Fandub
Project Overview
This project will look at dubbing over the attacks of the gacha game 'Honkai Star Rail' and yes, I know there is already an English dub, but this project is just for fun!
A while back I made a video dubbing over Kafka's lines that is linked in the 'VIDEO URL' section, it shows what the project will look like...although back then i recorded the video from my phone, I'll be collecting footage on my PC so it will look a LOT nicer and also not be laggy!
And although there are English voices I do NOT want impressions. You can take inspiration from the English voices, but please give YOUR own spin on them! I will list the kind of voice I am looking for, and my thoughts on the English voices for some extra inspo. And of course, all opinions are my own and completely personal! ...I typed that part before I wrote all the character descriptions, after typing so much I got a little repetitive...sorry! Just go with what you think works!
This project does require shouting, but not going SUPER SAIYAN AND SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS! ...No, just a raised voice at the very least - and actually a LOT of the characters don't even shout, but the final audition line will be a shouting line, though again just a raised voice is all I require!
This project will be a one off video, and the script length will be no more than 10 lines for the majority of the characters, some maybe only having 5.
Communication will take place on discord, though if you prefer email we can converse through there as well!
It would be preferred that you have decent mic quality. And please refrain from recorking in an echo-y space. And don't record at night either....please!

Scouting/Audition for the less auditioned roles
Hi again everyone!
Lots of you have auditioned for the same role, and lots of you fit the same role. But obviously I can only cast 1 of you per role. So I would recommend that you audition for a few of the roles that have a lower amount of auditions.
Equally, when I am doing my casting on Tuesday 26th March, I will DM a few of you asking if you would be able to voice a character you did not audition for. Of course it is up to you whether you would like to or not. But as there are so many great auditions of the same role...scouting for the other roles is something I will have to do ^-^'

Deadline Extension and Casting Round 1 Date

Well really got some great last minute auditions!BUT!
There's still a few roles without any auditions. So I am going to hold off casting for another week.
HOWEVER!
On Tuesday 26th I WILL be casting ALL of the MALE roles and several of the female roles, unless all the roles get auditions.
Apologies for the extra week! I wanted to cast today as well, but I want to make sure I am fully committed to my decision!

Wow 100+ auditions! Great turnout! Thank you so much for auditioning everyone!
I shall start my cast procedure on Tuesday 19th of March.
HOWEVER!
I will be doing things a little differently. Due to the high number of auditions, I will be rejecting that I feel do not fit my vision. This process will start on Saturday 16th of March. Allowing anyone who has been rejected a few days to resubmit if they would like to.
I would have done this earlier, but life has gotten in the way.
NO ROLES WILL BE CAST BEFORE TUESDAY!
I may be rejecting, but I will NOT be casting before the deadline. This process is just to help me, and others who maybe auditioning late.

I'm still happy for anyone to try for Yanqing, but I would like him to have a high pitched voice, with lots of energy! Of course its all personal opinion, Amber acted the part perfectly imo!

I REALLY like her ENG voice, personally. But I'd like Jingliu to have a VERY deep voice, almost masculine - I don't know where that comes from, I just want her to have such a deep voice, kinda formal manner of speaking, but also very crazed and aggressive. I dunno lol just deep and powerful!
