Grizzly's 1 Update - Earl Recasting
Project Overview
Introduction
Hello! I am TheTVBunny or Ethan Lepley and I do voice direction and casting director for the “Grizzly’s 1” update and “Grizzly’s 2.”
If you are unaware of what “Grizzly’s” is, it is a Five Nights at Freddy’s fan game directed by Lester Tellez where the owner of a burger joint gone defunct is being trapped by his creation inside the same burger joint he owns. The setting is taking place in a dystopian future where America turns into a dictatorship.
“Grizzly’s” is publicly revered as “the first political FNAF fan game” and wears the tagline “It takes guts.”
What is the Voice Over Meant For?
The voice acting is to be used in updated phone calls and VHS cutscenes that will be creatively co-directed by infamous FNAF VHS creator Battington.
Requirements
We will be requiring a few things to make sure everything is in line with our vision for the game.
Microphone/Treatment Requirements
- We are looking for at least a USB setup that is usable for recording voice-over. Computer microphones or anything in that ballpark is not in our interest use.
- Make sure your gain is set properly so that clipping is not present in the audio. Please also try to keep background noise at an all-time low, and keep pops and sizzling out of the microphone.
- Have an insulated space when recording the lines. I will not accept any reverb to be produced in the audio.
Auditioning Requirements
- I want to hear your voice almost right away. This means that you must remove any silence you may have at the beginning of your audition.
- Do not fill the audition with a whole lot of you speaking as I only want to hear you acting. You can put in the details you want to tell me straight in the description of the audition you send over.
- Send your Discord name and tag in your audition description. This is because we will be using live direction for when we record lines.
- When auditioning, I require you to be at least the age of thirteen years old. I feel more comfortable working with people who are of age and it is required in the Discord Terms of Service.
- Please record at least two takes for each line in ABC format. This is to show different ways the line can be said without wasting time.
- State what equipment you use in the description of the audition you send to me. You can refer back to the microphone requirements to understand why I am asking this of you.
Quick Notes
- This is a fan project! That means that you more than likely shouldn’t use this as a way to get into an agency or be used on an IMDB page.
- Do not slate your auditions or go back and reaudition because of mistakes you made. This is so that fewer auditions are gone through by the same person.
- I am not accepting troll auditions, we are taking this seriously. While that is funny, we won’t accept it.

Earl is one of Johnathon’s friends who calls Johnathon while he is trapped inside his own establishment. He is outgoing and rather laid back but will tell you off when doing something really dumb.
We are looking for someone who can show those characteristics in the takes they provide. The voice should not have a wacky accent and should be standard in an American. His voice can fall in a range of a medium pitch to a high-medium pitch.
This voice is not set to return for the second installment of Grizzly’s and is only for the massive update.

(interjecting)
“Hey! The fuck are you doing? Do you understand that this call is being recorded by the same people you are shaming? It’s best not to say stuff like that.”
“I understand you. I have gotta take my leave for now as it is late but I hope you are able to get out of there bro.”
