Fire Emblem Heroes: Book 1, Paralogues, and Confessions
Project Overview
This project is the start of a series of casting calls to voice the pre and post battle conversations of the first book and paralogues of Fire Emblem Heroes. In addition to these lines, actors will be asked to voice the level 40 confessions that their characters have with the summoner. Videos will be uploaded to YouTube.
This first phase will comprise the following chapters:
Book 1
Prologue: World of Zenith
Chapter 1: World of Mystery
Chapter 2: World of Conquest
Chapter 3: World of Binding
Prologues
Xenologue 1: Detached Princess
Paralogue 1: Family Bonds
Once cast, lead actors will have 3 weeks to record lines while supporting roles will have 2 weeks to record lines, based off of the volume of material. Lead actors should be committed to this project as their roles will continue through all 4 phases. A Discord will be created to help coordinate this.

Guidelines and Tips:
You should have quality audio with no popping or puffing and minimal background noise. No distorting effects other than typical noise reduction and the like should be applied to the audition.
Please record multiple takes of each line, delivering each take with different inflections and motivations to show an emotional range.
You may audition for as many characters as you like. As long as your voice sounds distinct, you may be cast for multiple roles.
Neither myself nor my co-director, Regacman, will self-cast. However, we may audition for roles and allow a third party to choose the casting for those roles.
No roles will be cast before the deadline.
We are not asking for carbon copies of the voice actors already in Heroes. We’ve included links to their current actors as a reference, but feel free to do your own interpretations of each character based off of their descriptions below.

This is a recurring role.
A prince of Askr and member of the Order of Heroes. Kind and serious, and eager to maintain peace. Alfonse is mindful and dedicated to his kingdom. He values bonds of friendship and kinship along with a sense of duty. He needs to be able to display a wide range of emotions, especially as much of the main drama of this first story arc centers around him and his relationship with Zacharias.
His voice should be youthful and determined.

This is a recurring role.
A princess of Askr and Alfonse's sister. Cheerful and loves making friends—especially with Heroes. Sharena needs to be able to show a wide range of emotion due to her large role throughout the story. She is approachable and easily able to win over others. Sharena cares deeply for her friends and loved ones and demonstrates a great deal of empathy throughout the story.
Her voice should have a bright, clear tone, and able to display both a sense of concern and care as well as a level of lightheartedness.

A veteran fighter who leads the Order of Heroes. Alfonse and Sharena's commander and leader of the Order of Heroes. Anna additionally acts as a comedic character through her fixation on money and is a girl of many talents. She should be able to act through both urgent situations as well as comedic interactions.
Her voice should be playful, sly, and cheerful.

This is a recurring role.
Veronica is the imperial princess of the Emblian Empire. Uses Heroes summoned from various worlds and contracts them to do her bidding. She is the initial antagonist of Fire Emblem Heroes. Veronica and her Emblian Empire seek to conquer Askr and the outrealms. Veronica could be characterized as “lost” but is holding on to her idealism through a sense of duty or other unspoken forces.
Veronica’s voice should be even tempered but young. It should have a spiteful sound though one that is able to capture a sense of underlying sadness or discontent.

Veronica is currently voiced by Wendee Lee.

A masked knight whose identity and motives are a mystery. Bruno is condescending and dramatic. He is closely tied to the Askr Trio. As he moves through his story arc, he struggles with internal conflict with himself, his friends, and a curse on his family.
Bruno's voice should be deep and While many of his deliveries will focus on his anger, he should have a range of tone from spiteful to empathetic and doubtful.

As the direct successor to the throne of Nohr, Xander was raised to become one. As such, he expresses complete patriotism to his country, cutting down all who stand in the way of Nohr's prosperity and well-being. He has some sense of honor, and believes in a concept of right and wrong. Xander does not seem to think there is any such thing as a truly evil person; just evil acts and whether or not the person is forgivable.
He should be serious, patriotic, and noble in tone.

The son of Eliwood, Marquess of Pherae and talented leader of its army. Roy is our boy. Roy is an upstanding, thoughtful, and idealistic young man who repeatedly shows a desire to help and support others. He maintains a strong resolve to see peace return to Elibe. Unlike most young protagonists, however, he is perceptive and cunning for his age. Roy is notably dense, though unknowingly charming.
Roy should sound youthful, determined, and energetic.

Prince of Renais. Eirika's twin. Cares deeply for his sister. His confidence has sometimes put him in danger. He is shown to be a brave leader, known for his skills on the battlefield, gift for strategy, and bold determination. He has a one-track mindedness and focus for the task at hand. He dotes on his sister, which can be easily misconstrued, due to the stark contrast in how he acts with those he deems outsiders. Outside of battle, Ephraim is shown to be a kind and strong, though overconfident. Due to his upbringing he can be perceived as aloof.
Ephraim’s voice should sound clear, over-protective, and powerful.

She is also very brave in the face of adversity: she will never deny help to anyone who needs it, and despite her distaste for unnecessary violence, she will fight to protect either her friends or her kingdom. Eirika is sheltered and believes in the goodness of people, for better or for worse.
