Dragalia Lost "Lost Heroes" Dub (Fire Emblem Heroes Crossover Event)
Project Overview
About the project:
The project is to dub the story episodes from the limited time event “Lost Heroes” in the Nintendo mobile game Dragalia Lost, which is a special event that crossed over with fellow Nintendo mobile game; Fire Emblem Heroes. There are many wonderful characters needing to be given equally wonderful voice acting for an English listening audience. An example of the story will be listed below
This project will have a very quick turn around, and will be published swiftly. Because of this, I am looking for capable VAs that can quickly deliver lines and with correct, emotional expression, all within a few days of being cast.
Why is this casting call so short? And why do I need all of the lines so soon? Because the story cutscenes are only available to view during the event’s active period. Because of this, all voice recordings must be finalized much prior to the event’s conclusion so I can match the voices with the footage I will be recording AFTER lines are delivered, so I can assure the cutscenes will match to the pace of everyone’s voice acting, instead of forcing actors to speak faster or slower to match any pre-recorded footage.
About the Channel and it's Director:

Voxridian was created and is spearheaded by Braeden Gilliss, who is a fan of Fire Emblem among many other video game series.

• be able to yell or shout if necessary and without peaking their microphones.

(note: “good quality” is relative to amateur or fan-made productions. Anything as good or better than a Blue Yeti Microphone is welcome. Please be aware that Blue Snowball, phone or headset microphones are not recommended and may be disqualified)
• be respectful to others in my server.
• be able to deliver final recordings within 3 days of being handed their script and/or being directed.
About the story:
In the midst of a bitter war between the Askran Kingdom and the Emblian Empire, Alfonse and his allies are whisked off to another world. Meanwhile, Prince Euden and his allies confront a bold new leader in the imperial army. Alfonse awakens in an unfamiliar world and happens upon Veronica, who has seemingly lost her memory. As they flee the Empire, the pair encounters Prince Euden and his allies. One misunderstanding leads to another, and they find themselves crossing blades. After Fjorm puts a stop to the clash between Alfonse and Euden, the two of them agree to put misunderstanding behind them and become allies. Just then, the imperial army appears and launches an attack. Separated from Alfonse, Veronica visits a nearby village and comes across Loki, who takes her away after promising to help recover her memory. Meanwhile, the party meets the Hero-King Marth, and together they set off in pursuit of Veronica….
Additional Info:
There are 7 episodes in the event, plus a Prologue and an Epilogue (a total of 9 “parts”). All 9 parts will be dubbed, each being given their own episode (which may average 10 minutes each) or put into groups of 3 parts. A full story video may also be produced, if all works to plan.
A sequel event is starting while this casting call is active, and as such, many of these characters may reappear in the sequel. While not required nor promised, I may ask to have you join me in dubbing the sequel as well, if all goes to plan!
The final videos will be released on Youtube under my channel, Voxridian.
The videos will be Directed and Edited by me, Braeden Gilliss (Founder of Voxridian Dubs)
This casting call is open in other areas outside of Casting Call Club, as well. So there is a chance roles can be cast off-site.
When auditioning, please provide multiple takes of each line with different emotive directions (this helps me feel confident in your acting abilities!), but please do not submit more than 3 takes per line (thanks!)
Official Deadline is May 1st at 11:59pm (23:59) Pacific time.
And finally... Good luck! I look forward to hearing your auditions!

And congratulations to everyone cast! Auditions officially open until Midnight, end of May 1st
As stated on the Casting Call description, all roles will be open for audition all the way until the 11:59pm Pacific/23:59 Pacific, May 1st deadline! That means roles will be open until the strike of midnight come May 2nd. The casting call page has been updated to the deadline "May 2nd", to compensate for the site's UK-based clock. However, even if the casting call is not visible on the site, it will be open until the above stated midnight deadline. Thank you for auditioning for my project, and thank you for reading! Please stay tuned for another announcement tomorrow. A new casting call is in the works!
The narrator for the beginning of the story. I originally imagined an older, lower toned voice but I am open to hearing interpretations from any range, male or female! Give me your best storyteller voice!
(Most if not all the lines I'll need are on this audition so I may use your audition file as the final audio!)
The World of Zenith
Replete with gates to all manner of worlds, Zenith beckons heroes from across time and space.
In this world, two nations are locked in war. One, the Askran Kingdom, boasts the power to open gates. The other, the Emblian Empire, possess the power to close them.
The Protagonist of Dragalia Lost. Euden is the young prince of Alberia, who is on the run from his kingdom because of his siblings’ turning against their righteous ways. He is optimistic and friendly, with a young leader’s heart. He helps the Fire Emblem cast get back to their world after their sudden appearance in his starts to cause spacial ruptures, bringing chaos to his land.
He should sound like a bright, friendly and helpful protagonist, like most medieval fantasy stories in Japanese media. Medium range is preferred within the teen to young adult range.
Note: Since he is a lord, he must have clear articulation in his speech.
“Happiness is the greatest gift! I can pass any trial with you at my side!”
“There is no need for violence today. Surrender yourself quietly, and I give you my word you will not be harmed.”
“I don’t want to kill you! Surrender!”
The antagonist from book I of Fire Emblem Heroes, and a supporting character in the Fire Emblem crossover with Dragalia Lost. She is the princess of Embla, an opposing kingdom to Askr. She is a young but very serious and dark individual. She is briefly afflicted with amnesia in the event’s story, She is tricked by Loki and Harle to absorb Dark Mana and is temporarily possessed, which later helps gain her memory and powers back. She then reluctantly forms a truce with the main cast to get her back to her homeworld.
She should sound grave in most of her speech. She is very serious and lonely, never one for nonsense or idle chatter. When possessed, she should sound almost absent minded (but take care not to sound robotic)
Note: Since she is a lady, she must have clear articulation in her speech.
“What about you? I forbid you to sacrifice yourself for me…. I won’t forgive you if you’re lying.”
“What matter is it what YOU think? You need only do what I say. Or perhaps you’d rather I pop your head off right here, like one of my dolls?”
(Possessed)
“I must…kill you all… All of you...must...die… All of you…must…die...”
The Protagonist of Fire Emblem Heroes, and a supporting member in the Dragalia Lost X Fire Emblem crossover event. He is the prince and leading heir of the Askr kingdom. He is a just and noble individual that follows his heart, considering his position as the next to lead his kingdom, he carries a serious personality. In the prologue of the crossover’s story, in the middle of a battle with Veronica, a spacial rupture opens up and throws him to the world of Dragalia Lost, where he meets the resident heroes and enlists their aid to send him and his friends back to his homeworld.
His voice should be within the medium male range, and generally have a just and serious tone. He is brave and kind, and is a fighter for peace. The ability to yell correctly is necessary.
Note: Since he is a lord, he must have clear articulation in his speech.
“...Well, you certainly seem to have faced your share of hardships. Strange as it is to say, I feel like that makes me trust you all the more.”
“Nngh… Did I lose consciousness? I remember a tear in space opening while we fought Princess Veronica, but then… Hmm. Was I perhaps swallowed into it? I do hope Prince Marth and Princess Fjorm are all right.”
(attacking)
“I’m not done yet! Haaaaaah!”
Fjorm is the second princess of the icy kingdom of Nifl from Book II of Fire Emblem Heroes. She is a kind and gentle person who cannot stand cruelty. She stands up for justice and will run to aid those that need her. Along with Alfonse, she was thrown into the world of Dragalia Lost, and helps her friends get back to Askr.
She should have a gentle and kindred but somewhat grave voice in general conversation, but be more clear and righteous when opposing those causing injustice. Her home is the icy lands of Nifl, so she should have a slight “icy” sound to her tone of voice as well
Note: Since she is a lady, she must have clear articulation in her speech.
"Prince Alfonse knows much about heroes from other worlds. Spending so long with the Order of Heroes must have been... informative."
“I am Fjorm, and I am--well, WAS--a princess of the Nifl Kingdom. Alas, my homeland was ravaged by a fearsome foe.”
"I can forgive none who would dismantle the peace of innocents and put their homes to the torch! Now you will know an equal amount of pain and suffering by my hand!"
Marth is the protagonist for Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and Fire Emblem New Mystery of the Emblem, and a supporting member in the Lost Heroes event for Dragalia Lost. He is a kind and humble person that feels praise is unnecessary. He will put the needs of others before himself and because of it is remembered as a kind ruler. He is thrown into the world of Dragalia Lost (Alberia) along with Alfonse, Veronica and Fjorm and together they find a way back to Zenith.
His voice should sound humble and noble. A slightly gentle but confident tone to his voice. A medium (or slightly leaning to medium-high) voice is preferred.
Note: Since he is a lord, he must has clear articulation in his speech.
“I am Marth, prince of Altea-- though I wager that means little to you at present.”
“Nonetheless, we cannot leave things with Loki and Veronica as they stand. I bear responsibility for what has transpired. If you mean to search for Veronica, pray allow me to aid you.”
“You mustn’t believe her honeyed words!"
A member of Euden’s team and a supporting character in the Dragalia Lost story. Elisanne is a knight of the Illian Church, and a prodigy whose skill gained her the rank of Paladyn. She secretly loves cute things like stuffed animals and toy clothing, and will stutter and become somewhat embarrassed when she accidentally lets her love of those things become known to another person. Along with Euden, she helps Alfonse and his friends return to the world of Askr.
She should have a medium to medium-high voice. She is tough but has a softer side, so she should sound like someone who’s balanced in being a knight and being a girl.
“I can sew a biiit, I mean look at all of Mathilda’s clo--oh, uh… Nothing, nothing! I said nothing.”
“You’re lucky to still draw breath, considering how you threw yourself in the middle of our brawl in an attempt to see it ended.”
“I’ll not allow you to harm His Highness!”
A member of Euden’s team and a supporting character in the Dragalia Lost story. Ranzal is a skilled mercenary whose sloppy appearance and careless tongue make for a sour first impression--although he always acts with honor and conviction in the end. He has a big personality and has a rough on the edges attitude to match.
His voice should be of the medium-low to low range. He should sound like a mercenary with personality. He's a fun guy and has even funnier lines, so give him some emphasis and you'll make him shine.
“Feels like we’re runnin’ in the world’s smallest damn circles.”
“Hard to believe such a cute face can have such ugly crap spillin’ out of it.”
“Bwaaa ha ha! Their loss is our gain! Let’s take this lady and her friend out before reinforcements show!"
A trickster and troublemaker from another world. Loki is a character from Fire Emblem Heroes. She loves to cause chaos and mischief and do nothing else but create the means to achieve those ends. She tricks an amnesiac Veronica into absorbing Dark Mana, and then toys with Alfonse and co. about them being stranded in the land of Dragalia Lost lest he or Veronica dies. She forms a pact with Harle to create havoc across the lands of Alberia.
Loki should have a sultry, playful tone of voice. Always tempting others into trouble for her amusement. Young Adult to Middle-Age is preferred.
“Hee hee! If I take Askr’s ability to open gates and Embla’s power to close them… As well as the otherworld fragment I obtained in that new world… Oh, whatever will happen when I mix their powers together?! Tee hee hee!"
“I would SO very much love to invite you to the party, but I’m afraid I simply must escort someone else.”
“Oooo, I’m afraid he sacrificed himself to save you and ended up locked in some dark, dank prison. SUCH a shame.”
The chief of the Capital Guard. He is a villain who is aiding Euden's evil siblings to keep Alberia in their control. He joins Loki to throw Alberia into chaos. He is a cunning strategist and, while unusual for someone of his position, has a bombastic manner and often holds a bold smile.
His voice is up to interpretation, but a voice with the “nature of a snake” would be very fitting for him, as he often uses honeyed words while tricking others or when he’s at an advantage. He is a young adult, slightly older than Euden
Note: Since he is a lord, he must have clear articulation in his speech.
“You are indeed most welcome to our fortress, Lady Veronica. My name is Harle, faithful attendant to the great Dyrenell Empress.”
“You’ll have to bear with us, I fear. Like any large organization, we have our fair share of bone-headed underlings.”
“Tee hee! Oh, just a liiiiiiittle bit of power the empress entrusted to me!”
Cleo is a member of Euden’s team, and is a supporting member in the Dragalia Lost story. She is a girl who defended the halidom for ages while it was sealed away in mist. While she appears young, she is long lived, and always has control over her emotions. She is known for her intensive housework skills. Throughout the event story, she aids Euden and Alfonse in finding a way to get the Fire Emblem characters back to their world.
Her voice should be controlled, articulated and well mannered. An English accent with a slight "elevated" tone is preferred
“I have been the guardian of the Mystholt since the duty was first bestowed upon me by the founder.”
“The Empire seems to have become quite active as of late. I imagine there must be some nefarious reason behind it."
“She’s surrounded by black mana!”
Luca is a member of Euden’s team, and is a supporting member in the Dragalia Lost story. He is a Silvan, a type of rabbit-like humanoid race. He is a boy who loves his home of Woodhaven. He puts no airs on his honest nature and is more prone to quick action than deliberation. His love of pranks is often met with punches from his little sister, but he cares for her greatly. Along with Euden, Luca helps the Fire Emblem cast get back home.
Luca's voice should sound friendly and honest but kinda arrogant and prankster-y. A bit of a nasally sound to his voice would be welcome. Medium range is preferred.
"You wanna borrow my inner-tube? I swim like a boss, so... I don't really need it."
"Wait, you think I'm ripped? SCORE! My training totally paid off!"
"Hey! Stop, you!"
A supporting member of Euden’s team. Notte is a pint-sized faerie who is always upbeat and genuine. She can be counted on to provide endless support and confidence, no matter how bleak things may seem! She doesn’t often filter her thoughts or feelings, and just says whatever she feels in the moment. She says funny phrases often and acts as a comical relief to the already zany cast.
“It’s smoke! And not the good kind! … Wait, IS there a good kind?”
“I wish I could do that! I’d totally act like the prince and order everybody around to make me cakes and stuff. Mmm…”
“Oh for the love of… How many new people are we gonna meet today?!”
A soldier from Dyrenell. He questions Veronica’s judgement to raze a nearby village. He should sound like a medieval fantasy guardsman or soldier. A young adult or middle-aged voice is welcome.
“E-excuse me, Commander? Er, I was wondering if we truly intend to attack this village when there doesn’t appear to be any strategic benefit to it.”
“Prepare yourself, traitor!
Another soldier from Dyrenell. This soldier tries to capture Veronica and deter Alfonse from interfering. A young adult or middle-aged voice is welcome. He should sound hostile.
“There she is! After her!”
“Keep your nose out of the Dyrenell Empire’s business unless you want to lose your head in the process!”
“Ah, Enough of this. Kill him already!”
A woman passing by. She finds Veronica and brings her back to a nearby village to protect her from the Dyrenell Empire. She should sound like a grown adult, perhaps being a mother of her own.
Note: While she is listed as a minor role, she carries a segment of chapter 3, and probably has more impact to the story than the role of Luca, so please do your best for this unnamed woman!
“Excuse me? Yooo-hooo! Don’t you know it’s dangerous here? There are imperial soldiers about!”
“How lucky you are, girl; this kind swordsman has sworn to protect our village from that most terrible empire, and I’m sure he’ll do the same for you!”
“I won’t hear another word on the matter. You’re coming with me, and that’s that!"
