Project Overview
(All you need for this project is a decent-sounding microphone. By desktop or phone, it doesn't matter, as long as there's little to no background noise, no mic popping, and no static when you audition. A Discord Account for contact is recommended, but not required, as I can contact you here on the Casting Call Club website if you'd like, Discord is just more of an easier reach. A long time ago in the thumb universe, the Thumb Wrestling Federation was a place of heroic sportsmanship, fair competition, respect, and honor. The site was once rightfully under the control of a wise old thumb named Newt Knuckle, who ensured everything was kept in line and all thumb wrestlers treated each other with great respect in the ring during every match. That was until a young upstart thumb wrestler named Vincent Arthur Skullberg arrived onto the scene. Skullberg was quite a rude thumb who didn't read the record books and didn't respect the old-timers, which were the great thumbs that made this sport one of the greatest, most glorious, and most heroic ones out there. Skullberg didn't want to work his way through the brackets by fighting in exhibition matches town after town in order to become one of the T.W.F's top rising stars. As a matter of fact, Skullberg wasn't interested in becoming a main eventer and a T.W.F champion on his own... He wanted to take control of the whole company ENTIRELY, which in the way Skullberg sees it, will become another step towards achieving his lifelong goal... WORLD DOMINATION. And when Newt Knuckle found out what Skullberg was planning, it only made things WORSE. An enraged Vincent Arthur Skullberg successfully led a revolt that split the Thumb Wrestling Federation roster into two teams... Those with respect and honor like all the previous thumb wrestlers before Skullberg invaded joined the heroic team of the mighty Dexteras. In contrast, those with less than a thimble full of kind-nature and decency joined the evil team of the slimy Sinestras. In the midst of all the turmoil and chaos, the wise thumb wrestlers of the previous generation before Skullberg caused an uproar, like Newt Knuckle and Phineas D. Finger suddenly disappeared, never to be seen or heard from in the company ever again, while others like Colonel Cossack threw in the towel and stood down from their positions as the great thumb wrestlers they once were. Eventually, Vincent Arthur Skullberg was able to take control of the sneaky Sinestra team, changing his name to Senator Skull and becoming the team's new leader, and even worse... Proposing the team into working together to help take over the world with him! That's when the mighty Dexteras realized that Senator Skull needed to be stopped for good... Once and for all. The battle's on! Will the mighty heroic Dexteras be able to reign supreme over the slimy Sinestras and foil Senator Skull's plans of taking over the world, and make the Thumb Wrestling Federation a much better place again? Or will Senator Skull's evil schemes and dastardly teamwork with his Sinestra teammates be too much for the Dexteras to handle, rendering the world doomed and under Skull's control?
This is a fan-made non-profit Thumb Wrestling Federation audio series made just for your entertainment and mine. The Thumb Wrestling Federation TV show belongs to Larry Schwarz, and I do not own any part of the franchise, nor am I affiliated with the creator of the show in any way, shape or form. Every episode I plan to make for the series are fan-interpretations and are not part of the official show. These episodes will be part of a fan-made audio series inspired by other fan-made audio series of T.W.F that I've watched previously that will be uploaded to my YouTube Channel.

Evil Ira is certainly one of the more weirder Dexteras to say the least. Born in a big Transylvanian castle in 1972, Ira was born with a 3rd eye, much to the shock of his parents. It wasn't too long before the family found out that Ira's extra eye possessed some magical hypnotic powers. As a child, Ira used those powers to get his own way, making him quite a tricky kid! Years later though, he brought his magical powers to the world of thumb wrestling and weirdly enough, decided to use his hypnotic spells and spooky teleportation for good intentions rather than evil ones. He tried to go under the name of Good Ira, but unfortunately for him, the name was already taken by another wrestler who also had three eyes just like him. Being resentful, but a good sport about it, this three-eyed wrestler had to fight under the name of Evil Ira whether he liked it or not. As confusing and creepy as this thumb seems, he really does mean well, but evil or not, you certainly don't want to get on the receiving end of one of Evil Ira's devious tricks!

Of course, no thumb wrestling sports stadium would be complete without the loyal fans paying tickets to see their favorite Dexteras and Sinestras duke it out from the best seats in the house! Whether it's pumping up the good, or rallying on the evil, one thing's for certain, no T.W.F. match would be the way it is if it weren't for the hype and the noise the crowd brings to every event!
(I will cast multiple people as the crowd. You can come up with any voice you think shall fit a TWF fan, and you can come up with multiple voices in one audition! Males and females can audition for the role, whether the voice is a male enthusiastic or tough and rough superfan, a female wrestling enthusiast who loves to see the wrestlers going at it, or even an energetic young boy who wishes to be a thumb wrestler when he grows up too! The voices may vary from episode to episode, and you will all be credited as additional voices. Check out Evil Ira's voice clips for references on the crowd's call-up to him as he says "Audience! I ask you, what is my name?" "Yes! And why I ask you is that the case?" "Yes! And, am I VERY good?".)

Audio Engineer
I'm looking for a volunteer audio engineer/mixer who is interested in editing the recordings and takes of the lines! I'm looking for someone who's experienced in audio noise reduction and clean up and balancing audio levels and voice lines to match at the same or similar volume level to the others. There may be different recording qualities for the voice actors I cast.
I'm looking for an audio engineer/mixer who is completely free and has lots of spare time and doesn't have too much on their hands as you'll be the audio editor for this series, but just this series unless you'd like to tell me you're interested in audio editing for a different series of videos I've made, like fandubs.
How this is planned to work is that once you get cast, I'll firstly handle putting the dialouge and sound effects and music together, and then I'll do my best to give you a starting point by setting the dialogue volume at an appropriate level, and then, I'll give you the dialouge track only, as I'll handle the main volume levels of the music and sound effects I add in. Then, you'll be able to mix away!
You'll be doing your best to try to make every line the same and or similar volume level. It's a good idea to double-check with headphone audio and speaker audio, as sometimes, occasionally, the volume might sound a bit different to one another that way.
To audition, please send me a link to a video where you've worked on the audio of the recordings. It could be a fandub, or any animation, or any audio series!
