Project Overview

ORIGINAL GAME DESCRIPTION:

Don't Forget is a short horror/memory game made in RPG Maker MZ.

You are an intern at the ESO (Ecological Stability Organization). Tasked with data collection and routine maintenance, you are sent into the enclosure of one of the facility's malevolent creatures.

The entity inside the enclosure will hunt you down, seeking to sabotage your assignment and bring your life to an end. Avoid it as you run through the hallway to the exit. But be careful, there are dead ends that will lead you to nowhere but your demise.

Fortunately, you have been equipped with a remote that will shock the creature and stop its advance for two seconds, enough for you to get away. But after each shock it will take time to recharge. Use it wisely.

This is a remake of my first released game project, adding a story, more content, and improving everything.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

All communications will be preferably done through Discord (but if you do not have a Discord account, they can be done via Twitter, BlueSky, or email.).

  • The voice actor needs to be at least 18.

  • The VA should have emotional range with the ability to scream, beg, and sound optimistic.

  • A professional-quality microphone is preferred, with no noise or reverb.

  • The audio files should be in OGG, but they can be MP3 or WAV if OGG export isn't possible for the VA.

  • 1-3 takes should be done, with more for the more pivotal lines.

  • The pay is according to your rate. (e.g. if your rate is $1/line, I'll pay that. if your rate is $2/line, I'll pay that. I don't want to undervalue your work!)

  • CASTING IS COMPLETE!

    The final voice actors for Daniel, Brenda, and Hargreave have been selected. From over 800 auditions, me and JCGonzo have narrowed it down to just three. To the three winners, keep your CCC DMs open, as we'll be asking you for your Discord for communication.

    Once again, thank you all again for auditioning. This was a very hard process for both of us, and I hope you all appreciate the game when it comes out!

  • SHORTLISTING BEGINS + UPDATE

    Me and JC here at the Environmental Stability Organization (E.S.O) have been looking over your applications carefully. It's shocking that we've almost doubled the amount from last time, with almost 500 applicants! Yet again, thank you all for having an interest in this project.

    Now, for the main update. We will be shortlisting and dismissing auditions beginning now. For those who have been dismissed, we want to say that you don’t have to worry, because you can retry your audition for the role. You can send in a new audition or retake, and we'll treat it fairly.

A young man who is an intern at the ESO. Nervous and inexperienced, and should have a neutral, youthful, but slightly deep voice. His voice should be slightly nasal as well. He would have a wide emotional range, from happy to crying to screaming to anger.

The ESO's secretary. Very cold and clinical, very business. She is no-nonsense and has a classic secretary tone of voice. General american accent that is of universal understanding. But she would also be able to switch into a different casual voice for when she needs to drop the formalities.

The CEO of the ESO. An older man, his voice is deep and dark, but very professional. He would sound intimidating and imposing, but when his composure cracks he could easily be reduced to inelegant blubbering and fear.
