WHAT IS DESOLATE? CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN? PLEASE..?
DESOLATE is a fun mini series, about a team of rabbits, on their way to camp. However, some funnies happen, and they're stranded. With each having different essential strengths, they must get get along and use teamwork to survive. The bunch must now find their way back home. On their journey, the come across more and more evidence, that they've got bigger problems, than just that.
NEAT! WHEN'S THE DEADLINE?
DESOLATE's deadline, is currently October 2nd. Though, it could very well be extended. The script is by no means final but it is however, approaching it's final draft.
AWESOME! WHAT KIND OF SHOW IS IT?
DESOLATE takes a more serious approach, on the slapstick humor that Rick And Morty presents. Almost every episode is essential to the plot, it touches on some dark themes, though it still has comedy you know and love.
WHAT SHOULD I MAKE SURE I HAVE BEFORE VOICE LINES?
Nothing has to be too high quality. All I ask is there should be no static, in the background, you're in a clear room with no background noise and that you give it your best shot.

Ace is a unique, likeable protagonist. She is overlooked by most of her friends, except for Ax of course. But still holds a special place for them, in her heart.
[Hey, so for Ace I couldn't actually find a monologue, so these are just few random lines I picked up from the script.]
ACE: *emotional* “Just stop! Stop it, Max. I just… I just want to go home. You’re not helping things, okay? Lynda was doing fine, great even. There’s… There’s no way she could have noticed. It’s not her fault.”
ACE : “Whatever, Just- Try to be a bit less erm… Aggressive. Okay?”
ACE: “..Do you think he’s got everything under control?”
Ax is 'The Nerdy Guy'. He knows, basically everything. Except for survival, that is... When it comes to helping friends, he tends to back up, and stay out of everything, even in a life or death situation.
AX: “Ace… There’s been something I’ve been meaning to ask you since we got into this whole shenanigan. Don’t take this the wrong way or anything- But- Well, after all that’s happened, do you think we’ll really.. Make it out of here, Ace?”
AX: “Stop! Don’t you guys know how electricity works?? If any of you touch him, you’ll be electrocuted too!”
AX: “What do you mean he’s not getting up any time soon? What are we supposed to do??”
Max is stubborn. He speaks without thinking, most of the time. He and Lynda are basically mortal enemies.
MAX: “I told you guys! I told you guys, she was leading us the wrong way! Now we’re Stuck here! This is all your fault, Lynda! We could have stayed back on the bus, but no! You had to insist, didn’t you? You always have to be so annoying!”
MAX: “It’s okay, Ax. She’ll find her way back.”
MAX: “Well, they’re screwed.”
For the first half of the series, Lynda is annoying, irritating, narcissistic and sarcastic. She's the character that most hate to admit, that is right. She's not all bad, though. She has this very cool character arc, in the second half.
LYNDA: “You’re right. I should have known we were going the wrong way, hours ago. But we can’t fix that now, and we don’t have enough time to turn back. I say we set up camp for the night. I’ve brought tents and plenty of food and water. If anyone gets hurt or bitten, I’ve got plenty of bandages in my bag.”
LYNDA: “Let’s see.. We must be about here, so.. No- That’s not right- Oh, here we are! Ah- No that’s uhm.. Er.. Uh..”
LYNDA: “Speak for yourself. I’m not lost- I.. I’m just having ..Trouble.”
Zee is a sweetheart, but goes unnoticed in the first episode. She has a few voice lines, but not nearly as many as the others. She is constantly beat up, by Lynda, as she's the only one who doesn't bother to defend herself.
ZEE: “Is he alright?”
ZEE: “You’re… not helping, Ax.”
ZEE: “Lynda, where did you get this? It’s.. It's broken. We’ve been following a broken compass.”
The driver doesn't show up all that much. He's kind of 'that one guy'. It's likely he'll be brought back, at the end of each episode for an after-scene for the laughs though.
DRIVER:*Tense* “Everyone, stay calm! I’ve got everything under control!”
DRIVER: *casual* “Oops, hold on.”
*basically just scream in pain and stuff. he's got a scene where he's kind of uhh- electrocuted.*
Miner A is featured only in the prologue. He's Miner B's partner.
MINER A: *exhausted* “Well, Kent.. Looks like our shift is almost up”.
MINER A: “..I don’t know. Maybe some sort of relic. I guess, heh.”
MINER A: “Kent! Are you okay?!”
Miner B is featured only in the prologue. He is Miner A's partner.
MINER B: “What do you think they expect us to find down here? I mean... We mine in the same spot, all day every day and none of us have come across an inch of even coal..”
MINER B: “I- I’m okay, just a bit roughed up, is all.”
Boss is a roughed up, man in his 50's. He has a deep voice, and is the head of the mining business.
BOSS: “Nobody’s ever found anything... There’s not even supposed to BE anything down there. Certainly not... Whatever this is. We were just clearing out the area for a new facility. Once We’re done, I’ll be finished with this whole mining business”
BOSS: “Well, then. Let’s see how much gold you boys have earned yourselves.”
Fry Mc Fry Boy, is a character that shows up in Ace's zany dream. He has an annoying, high pitched voice, like spongebob's. He has a very cartoonish feel to him.
FRY MC FRY BOY: “Can I come with you guys? I have fries! I’m Fry Mc Fry Boy!”
FRY MC FRY BOY: “Look, everyone! It’s my cousin! DJ tortoise!”
DJ Tortoise is an incredibly annoying tortoise. He can only say one line, as he's a DJ and somehow this committed to it. He appears in Ace's Zany dream.
DJ TORTOISE: “Awww, yeah!”
To add feel to the show, I'm looking for a composer, with a wide variety of skill set's. From tense music, in action scenes, too soft background music for more chill scenes. Music is always essential to a well done show. If anyone decides to opt for this role, I would be absolutely honored. Composing music is not an easy feat, and we'd love to have you on-board.

- 2 or more 1 minute, or longer songs featuring your experience in composing music.

YOUR TASK:
- You will provide a variety of 2 - 5 minute tracks, for each mood. Likely 6, or more. I'm hoping to do something with a recurring theme, so each track must be based off of the same melody. Each track should be instrumental, unless explicitly told so.

I'm looking for an editor to not only correct mistakes, in grammar, and writing. But to make the plot better a whole. I'm hoping to find someone who loves writing, as a passion and can really help make a good story.

If you're good at art, designs and letting the whole film come together, than I believe this role is for you.
As a storyboard artist, your job will be to look at the script, and give a rough concept of what you'd believe that to look like. If you're interested in this position great! I'm excited to have you on the team. Though, I'd like a few requirements first.
REQUIRMENTS:
1 or more examples of previous work, in animation, art or storyboarding.
A cohesive personality, someone who's easy to get along with, as there will be a lot of communicating back and forth.

Animation in large can't typically be done alone. If you're experienced with animation, and have a lot of time on your hands, this role might be fore you. Of course, keep in mind you won't be doing it alone and will certainly be basing/easing everything off of the storyboard.

Backgrounds can really make the show pop. If I'm doing this part alone, chances are.. it won't turn out too pretty haha. Keep in mind, it may be awhile before someone in this position, will be able to work as the storyboard isn't in development yet.
