Desert’s Edge is a tall tale of the wild western life presented through the adventures of the famous bounty hunter, The Constellation Cowboy and his partner in crime, Cassidy Mack. The Constellation Cowboy is known for having the quickest shot in Desert’s Edge while Mack has a piling bounty on his head over a crime that is not known to many. Together, they work on hunting other bounties, confronting their own personal problems, get tangled up with a mysterious person who has been selling their information and a lot more trouble the more they continue their work.
This project is part of an ongoing series myself and @Pigsy has been working on for quite sometime now. For my junior final film at my university, I wanted to make a short with our project, hoping to expand on it later down the line.

Hello everyone thank you so much for the support and submissions! We have been reviewing them slowly but surely almost everyday to be exact and we are coming down to the closing! Please read these carefully because dates have been changed according to the semester I am currently in.
- THE DEADLINE FOR AUDTIONS HAVE BEEN MOVED TO MARCH 16TH. RECORDING FOR THE PROJECT WILL START MARCH 22TH until April 2nd!!!!Yep, unfortunately that's the case. Could be asking why so?
Well if I want to finish this short with the utmost quality I'm going to need all the time I could possibly get. There is only one single animator on the project (me) and pigsy for background design. I need all the time I can get for recording and animating. We are starting reocording rather quickly because there are a few of you that are just SO GOOD. We might need to find backups for the near future and in this case, we will message and email the ones who've made the cut right after the casting call closes.
So PLEASE, keep an eye out on email or mesasges on here so we can move this process faster.Sorry for all the updates, I hope I am not clogging up your notifications! I want to be transparent with all of you about this <3.

I've updated some information about the casting call google doc and some of the characters as well.
I wanted to be clear as possible about pay because I do not want to seem like me and my good pal are trying to screw people over.
But 60 dollars flat rate is how much in total you will be paid per character! I myself will add more later once we get working, as in, if your fun and "professional" to work with, I'll highly recommend and pay extra.

Description
A door to door salesman and part time conman. On the job, he presents himself as a cheery companion and easy to talk to. Off the job, he is skittish and moody. As a way to gain extra money, he has decided to sell information on bounties, acting as a private eye and conman. After time he became a bounty himself for conning bounty hunters. Personality wise, he’s a pathetic coward at best, running away when the situation seems fit and having other people do the dirty work for him (even to the extent of throwing others under the bus in a state of panic). He can easily become stressed out, can sometimes be quick to annoy and can be quite snappy and sarcastic with his interactions with others. He can also play the role of the dealmaker and can be a good, intelligent voice of reason.
Voice Ideas:
In my head originally, I had imagined his voice to be similar to Nick Valentine from Fallout 4 with a VERY SLIGHT boston accent similar to a stereotypical noir detective. He has a bit of gruff in his voice but still a smooth talker, almost like a salesman. (I mean he is a salesman). Think skittish and a rat basically. Any male voices in these ranges are welcomed! DESCRIPTION:
Mack is a man with an inflated ego, cool hair and speed. He has never been caught by Bounty Hunters and he’s “never” lost. The only person he's lost to is Ryder Radigan himself. He has a bounty over his head of 80,000 (the highest bounty in Desert's Edge) so he is currently on the run. A liar who lies about almost everything and keeps his secrets. Always changes into different disguises. He’s a cool type of punk who travels around on a literal hoverboard. He’s a loud guy and a goofball, never taking the most serious situations seriously. He also has a heart of gold and is always willing to help others , even if it’s in his own stupid ways. Despite this, he can easily be riled up and quite aggressive when needed.

DESCRIPTION:
Ryder is a high-class bounty hunter, only going after bounties that have a large amount of money on their head. He’s the fastest draw in Desert’s Edge and he takes that title with pride. However, Ryder can be very sympathetic and is a hopeless romantic, often wanting to side with bounties rather than the people paying if the bounties are good people. He has a long history of getting to know his bounties, however, he stopped this habit once he met Mack, one of the biggest bounties he has chased after Mack, and Benjamin. Ryder is very kindhearted, loyal, and hard working, the workhorse who can’t bring himself to say no to save his life. Ryder loves to snap back with sarcastic comments and will often tease others he’s close to (Mack and Benjamin).

To me, Ryder has a strong southern dialect and is pretty much just Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2 or McCree (Cole Cassidy) from Overwatch!
