Delivery!
Project Overview
Carney-- a naïve, young fox working as a courier for his kingdom's royalty-- has just broken the first rule of his very own Postal Code.
He's read a letter meant for the eyes of someone far more powerful than him.
A letter, coincidentally, leading to a treasure with the power to change life for himself and his entire village.
In a land torn by war and civil unrest, the journey will be long, hard, and dangerous; but for Carney and his band of local misfits, it's time to get rich or die trying!

Howdy, and welcome to the audition call for Delivery!: a new animated series centered around a ragtag group of impromptu treasure hunters! As this project has been a huge goal of mine for the past year, I'm extraordinarily excited to get to making it-- but hey, I can't do it all by myself!
Delivery! will have a pretty laid-back production with little hard deadlines. This is the first project I've directed, and one of my first steps in moving my animations to YouTube; as such, there's not much of a rush to get it done. I'd rather take time to focus on attention to detail and story.

Carney, a young fox working as a royal courier, is one of two main protagonists in Delivery!. Although I have no exact preference for accent besides maybe something a little more country-esque, he should sound youthful and boisterous; if you gave maple syrup sentience and slapped it on a canine, you'd get Carney. As Carney's something of a glass-half-full type of guy, be able to convey a lot of enthusiasm in your voice!
(Enthusiastically) "Hi! Looks like I've got a letter here for a mister... Arthur, right?"
(Determined) "I'm gonna do it, then! I'm gonna go and save the village! And if anyone doesn't want me to, then... then they can go sit on a tack!"
(Disapprovingly) "Oh, but you know I can't do that! The knights'd be on my tail quicker than a frog on a lilypad! I don't really like reading, anyhow."
Petra is a pronghorn who, despite aspiring to someday open a library, got stuck in the family's healing business. She's now a sort of medic-in-training; scholarly and independent, Petra is Carney's loyal childhood friend and the second main protagonist of the series. Gentle and protective, this character should have a distinguishable voice able to convey plenty of emotion. No preferred accent.
(Exclaimed) "Gah! Carney, watch where you're going-- for pete's sake, you almost broke my glasses!"
(Amazed) "You... you realize what you could do with this type of money, right?"
(Distraught) "Oh, oh God. This is all my fault, isn't it? This is.... I mean, it wasn't.... this wasn't supposed to happen! Not to you, at least. Not you."
Stony-faced and quiet, Ferris is not a cat of many words. They were paid to join the party as a means of protection, and feel little connection to most of the cast members; even so, they remain diligent, loyal, and the backbone of the group. Ferris often has trouble coming off as affectionate or human-- their voice should reflect that and portray a sense of monotone. Their voice should be leaning towards feminine, but anyone is encouraged to audition for them! I would like this character to have an accent, but again, I'm willing to accept any take on them.
(Cold) "Work is work. I'll take any chance I can get."
(Alert) "Someone's coming."
(Neutral) "I never said that I forgave you. In fact, I'm not the one you should be asking for forgiveness. I'll admit that I don't like you, but even then... nobody deserves to suffer."
Rondo was cursed with the power of unfathomable luck. In other words, he can't live a life where things go wrong unless it's the best-case scenario for himself; in hopes of finding some thrill in a life generally unsurprising, he's turned to hardcore gambling. Immature, unrespectable, and pretty much just an ass for the fun of it, Rondo joined Carney's party for two reasons alone: as a way to escape both boredom and a hoard of those whom he's cheated out of winnings. His voice should be rather uncouth and sleazy; no specific accent in mind.
(Teasing) "What's with the holdup? Either fold or call my bluff; sitting there won't stop me from winning."
(Annoyed) "Look, kid. I didn't ask to join you and your bunch... Well-- okay, fine, I might've. But we all make mistakes sometimes, y'know? You can't hold it against me!"
(Mad) "Hey, jerk! Where do you think you're goin' with my weighted-- my lucky dice!"
In this world, everyone has a certain Spark-- a power they're born with that both influences their appearance and strength. Unfortunately, Hawks was born Sparkless. And not a single person will let him forget it. Hawks is desperate to prove himself; training his whole life to become a knight and protect the kingdom, he's been assigned to keep an eye on Carney and his gang from a distance. Failure is not an option for this uncertain soldier; if he has to break his own morals for the king, he'll do it in a heartbeat. Hawks should have a higher voice, albeit masculine-- any accent is acceptable.
(Flustered) "H-hey! Stop! Stop in the name of the king!"
(Hushed) "I've got to do it. Somehow, I'll make them all so damn proud of me"
(Panicked) "I'm sorry! I'm really, really sorry! I didn't mean to-- it was an accident!"
King Leroy is corrupt, charismatic, and a natural-born leader. King of Eruthia, he's established his rule with an iron fist; he expects perfection and will engineer it himself. Open only to his assistant, Myxie, King Leroy is slow to express himself and thirsts for greater power. He should have a deep, rumbling voice that should command a sort of attention to it; any accent is acceptable.
(Snapped) "The people will believe what I tell them to believe! Don't teach me about morals-- we're in a war! Morals are a luxury we can no longer afford, and you have to accept that."
(Authoritative) "Follow the courier. Just as a form of... insurance, so to speak. We wouldn't want anything keeping him from completing that delivery."
(Approvingly) "Well done. I underestimated you, Hawks; that doesn't happen often."
This character is used only to give a sense of setting to the viewer, and-- as stated in the audition lines-- should have the most generic-sounding anime protagonist voice of all time. Like, think Naruto and Ash Ketchum. As Arthur will only appear in the beginning of the first episode, he does not have many voice lines! Whoever gets this role will be able to continue voicing extra characters if desired.
(Determined) "We strike tonight."
(Imperatively) "We’re losing the war, and if the Teltándians come to storm the kingdom, they’ll burn every village-- including this one-- on the way over." (NOTE: Pronunciation of Teltándians: Tell-tauhn-di-ans)
IMPROV! Give me your most generic anime protagonist line!
This character should sound like an anime side-character or protagonist; think Sakura or Aqua from Konosuba. As Mella will only have voice lines in the beginning of the first episode, her character will not need to be reprised in later episodes/scenes! Whoever gets this role will be able to continue voicing extra characters if desired.
(Concerned) “No, we’re not. We can’t. There’s too many moving parts to the plan-- we need a month, two months minimum to get everything in order.”
(Defeated) "I’m not scared of death; I knew this was it for me when I started fighting."
IMPROV! Give me your most generic anime-sounding line!
This character should continue on with the generic anime trend, but this time give him a rougher voice; he should sound like an edgy loner. As Zephyr will only have voice lines in the beginning of the first episode, his character will not need to be reprised in later episodes/scenes! Whoever gets this role will be able to continue voicing extra characters if desired.
(Frustrated) “Oh, to hell with the plan! I’m fed up with the king and this stupid war. Sorry, Mella; I’ve gotta stand with Arthur on this one. It’s now or never.”
(Teasingly) "Heh… I’ll be at your every command, kid!”
IMPROV! Give me your edgiest anime loner-sounding voice line!
Voices for unnamed extras throughout the series; there will be multiple people chosen for this role!
(Forcefully) "Down with the king!"
(Murmured) "Do you think they'll invade the village?"
(Casually) "One loaf of bread, please!"
Colorists are needed to color in animation frames at their own pace. Firealpaca is required. DO NOT AUDITION FOR THIS ROLE HERE! Instead, join the Discord server for more details/auditions.

Music composers are needed for background music and a short 30 second-1 min. long intro. Each piece should have something of a fantasy feel, and acoustic guitar skills are appreciated. Please attach some short samples of past work you've done of the same caliber!
