Crimson Honor | Animated Adaptation
Project Overview
What is this?
A dub of the Crimson Honor Wattpad novel. This particular project is going to be edited and framed in such a way as to emulate a visual novel retelling of the novel format.
For those of you unfamiliar with the premise: In Elysium, Reanimation is frowned upon and banned in two of the three ruling kingdoms. During Ares' coronation as a knight of Aetheria, it is interrupted by the Reanimated invading. After being sent out to investigate, he is thrown into a battle that seems neverending, and that becomes even more apparent when Solara's four generals reveal information about his past that he can't recall. In his adventure, Ares must band together with the descendants of the Sovereigns to stop Solara's plans to rule over Elysium.
Requirements:
Since this is a non-paid project, I won't be able to provide payment except in the form of promoting your content and giving shoutouts and a dedication page for everyone working on the project: a significant level of technical and performance quality is going to be expected. Please ensure that your microphone is capable of recording your performance without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping. Simultaneously many of these roles are for larger than life characters who tend to emote HEAVILY- as such most roles will probably involve shouting and even a bit of hamming it up/overacting in some capacity at some time or another so if you cannot commit to the needs of a given role please do not audition as I cannot expect to select someone who cannot give the performance a role requires.
Role Significance:Obviously, leading roles are going to be featured the highest amount as they will be appearing most frequently and deserve to be accommodated accordingly, but certain "supporting" and "minor" characters have recurring appearances throughout the novel, have an incredibly important impact on the events of the story, or simply have a significantly higher amount of dialogue in the fewer instances where they appear compared to other characters of similar "significance" (example: Vor is only in the story until "Chapter 4: Master's Wisdom", but she has an incredible amount of dialogue and significance to the overarching plot and motive of Ares).
Payment:Payments would be made if I had a PayPal account, but unfortunately, I do not have one at the moment, and thus payments cannot be paid for the time being. If I can set up PayPal in the following years, you might be paid according to your role if I can pay.
A few final notes:1) Characters will be added as they are introduced in the plot. For now, only characters relative to the first two chapters will be listed.
2) Animators will be required to animate the scenes from the novel in either Tite Kubo's style or Gege Akutami's style.
3) Character designers will be provided with detailed descriptions of the characters to base the models off of. It is preferred to make the models PSDs so animators can animate easier through Live2D Cubism.
4) Background artists will be provided with example scenes to reference when creating artwork. Note, backgrounds need to be a PSD with certain aspects in the front (ie trees) for scenes that require them.
5) The audio engineer will be required to create background music based off provided examples.
6) We will be using Discord as a way to communicate and produce the project. All final products will be uploaded onto my YouTube channel for everyone to view.

Eirika is the best friend of Ares and Leif and the crown princess of Aetheria with a caring and bold heart, not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She is also the descendant of the Sovereign, Facinna.

Leif is the prince of Therapheia and the best friend of Ares and Eirika. He is a witty prince who knows how to scheme, but he also is more caring and considerate than Ares. Leif is the descendant of the Sovereign, Regalia.

Sigrun Skadi is the eldest sister of the pegasus trio of knights in service to Aetheria. Her younger brother is Edwyn Skadi and her younger sister is Solveig Skadi. Sigrun is also the head knight of Aetheria's knights and the mentor of Ares, Leif, Edwyn, and Fionn. While stern and serious, she is prone to showing her motherly side for her students, but she has no tolerance for Vor, her subordinate in Aetheria's troops.

Animators will be required to use Live2D Cubism. To audition, please submit examples of animations you have done previously. Lead animators are the main animators of the project, and will also be over supporting animators to help direct what they need to do.

The youngest of the Aetheria pegasus knights, and the younger sister of Sigrun and Edwyn. She has a bright heart and a cheery disposition, upholding honor and chivalry to their core, she fights for justice and wants to keep her siblings and kingdom safe from Solara's advances. Note: Solveig is a minor character for the first few chapters/episodes, but she becomes relevant later on near the end.

The middle sibling of Aetheria's pegasus knights, and the only male sibling in the trio. He officially became a knight of Aetheria during the coronation to knight him, Fionn, and Ares, but due to circumstances surrounding the event, only he and Fionn were knighted. Edwyn has a relaxed outlook on life, but in combat, his personality does a 180 and he will fight through the deepest pits of Hell just to protect Aetheria and his sisters.

The descendant of the Sovereign, Facinna, and the king of Aetheria, as well as the father of Eirika. In Elysium, he is known far and wide for his swordsmanship, but he's also known for his kind rule and his love of jasmine tea. Several years before the main story, he lost his late wife to an invasion from Solara.

A newly appointed knight of Aetheria and best friends with Edwyn Skadi, he was coronated the same day as Edwyn and Ares. He and Edwyn often train together; Edwyn is most known for his speed and sharp arrows on the back of his pegasus mount, and Fionn is known for his prowess in heavy weapons, like axes, and his bold approach to combat, wanting to take out enemy commanders in the quickest way possible - hitting them over and over again with an axe until they submit.

The head of the archery troops in Aetheria's knights, and the mentor of Leif and Edwyn, having taught them the way of the bow and wind. His past is unknown and nobody in the kingdom knows of his origins aside from King Agnar and Sigrun, but they had to force it out of him. He prefers to keep conversation to the minimum and always shoots a straight shot to take down his foes without causing them any unnecessary harm. The only time he will show emotions is when something dire happens to him or his allies.

Sigrun's subordinate and one of the head knights of Aetheria. She has a playful disposition and loves to get on Sigrun's nerves, but she knows when she needs to be serious and will put her life on the line for her students and King Agnar. She's a minor character with a lot of personality to spare and has a great influence on the plot.
