Last Call For Auditioners
If you're still interested in a role, I urge you to audition as FAST as possible. We only have 3 remaining roles and if you want a chance, you should audition ASAP to have a chance!
Crime Boss Investigator (CBI) is not your typical vigilante story. It’s a morally complex crime drama wrapped in a stylized, hand-drawn stick-figure aesthetic. At its core, it follows a nameless investigator whose only mission is to dismantle the Stick Mafia by any means necessary after they murdered his family.
But here’s the twist: the CBI is not a hero. His actions may save lives, but not out of compassion — only because his obsession with revenge happens to intersect with the public’s survival. He’s reckless, destructive, and blind to the collateral damage he leaves behind.
The show deepens the story, bringing new enemies, dangerous allies, and the ultimate crossroads: Sadie, a marine-turned-crimefighter who becomes the only person capable of forcing CBI to confront the ugly truth about his path. Through her, the series explores whether revenge creates justice… or simply more victims.
(This project is TV-MA for: Stylized but Extreme Violence, Strong language, Dark and mature themes)

We just published our final, massive wave of every remaining role in the show. If you got rejected before, you still have a chance (we didn't reject anyone out of lack of skill, just not matching the role right, so you have a good chance regardless)!
Hurry and snatch them up before they're gone!
To all who already have a role: Auditions are closing in a few weeks, so as we wrap up this final casting wave, preparations will begin soon! In the coming weeks, we'll be having you sign your Actor Release Agreement contracts, and in roughly 1 month, smaller roles will begin recording, then medium roles, then we will end on major role recording! If you have any questions, or would like script access to begin practicing your character, or anything else, please send me a private message!
We're launching our one-liner roles for episodes 2 and 3 over the next hour, so if you still haven't gotten an audition, check it out! Our episode 1 roles are still open too! Vinny DeLuca isn’t a cartoon villain. He’s the kind of guy who looks deadpan while twisting the knife. His words drip with charm and sarcasm, but you can always feel the malice underneath. He loves being in control, circling his prey with calm confidence. But the cracks are there, every so often his mask slips, and we glimpse the fury and obsession bubbling inside.
(condescendingly friendly) “Relax, buddy. No surprises. Just a little chat… yeah?”
(mocking, in control) “You kill me, and the videos send. That’s the beauty of it. This? This is your legacy.”
(mask slipping, venomous rage) “I’ve watched you for years, the way you ruin things. And I fucking hate it. And I fucking hate you!”
Shadowstrike is pure chaos bottled into a human body. He switches from cold whispers to explosive screaming in a heartbeat. He thrives on fear, unpredictability, and violence. Growls and tonal breaks are essential. Wild emotional range required. If you like unleashing your inner psycho, this is the playground role.
(taunting whisper) “Shhh… don’t scream. That’s my job.”
(creepy → enraged) “See… I like to take my ti—SHUT UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP! I’M TALKING!”
(deranged, voice shaking with feral rage) “I cannot wait to dig my fingers into every little cut and hole I make and lick the blood off my fingers after I kill you…”
Brickjaw is the blunt instrument, a bruiser with a deep, southern, masculine drawl. He’s smug, cocky, but turns ferocious when pushed.
(smug) “Well, ain’t this a fine mess… and you walked right into it.”
(angry) “You think you’re clever, don’t ya? I’ve had enough of your smart mouth!”
(explosive rage) “GET. OUT. OF. MY. FACE!”
A desperate thug with a booming, throaty voice but shaky confidence. His plan goes sideways the moment it starts, so he’s constantly scrambling to maintain control through intimidation.
(threatening) “One wrong move and, well, you won’t like the consequences!”
(explosive panic) “Stop! Don’t test me! I swear you’re gonna regret it!”
(commanding) “Everyone down! On the ground, now!”
A sympathetic prisoner who adds humanity to the chaos. He’s a survivor, hardened through criminal history and loss of family. His accent and tone bring authenticity, and his death scene demands emotional range. He has a spinoff planned, so those willing to return for a future role are highly likely to be accepted.
(sympathetic) “I'm sorry to hear that man… I've lost a lotta family too.”
(panicked) “Woah-! Holy shit! Stay in cover!”
(dying words, bittersweet) “I… I hope… someone… stops them…”
A rugged, seasoned police chief. Nonchalant but exhausted, authoritative but caring. He’s seen it all and carries the weight of responsibility for his officers.
(concerned) “I don’t like putting people in danger… but we don’t have a choice.”
(weary) “I’ve been at this for hours… and somehow it just keeps getting worse.”
(calm) “Alright everyone, let’s take this one step at a time. Stay focused.”
The Mafia’s main low-tier commander. Gruff, commanding, and not afraid to put his foot down. He’s a lieutenant who inspires fear and demands respect.
(commanding) “Listen up! I don’t care how you do it… just get it done!”
(angry) “I’ve had enough of your excuses! Fix it, now!”
(threatening) “You better hope you don’t screw this up… or you’ll regret it.”
A quiet, calculating professional. The opposite of the loud mafiosos around him. He’s all precision, discipline, and icy detachment. Think CIA operative, but running a criminal empire.
(cold, calculated) “Emotions cloud judgment. And judgment decides who survives.”
(calm, professional) “Noise is for amateurs. We deal in precision.”
(measured, threatening) “I don’t need to raise my voice to end you.”
A low ranking member of the Mafia. Actors need decent skill level.
“You really think you can walk away from this? Not in my city.”
“Move it! I don’t have all day, and I don’t like waiting.”
“Damn it! What the hell do you want from me?!”
Low ranking member of the Mafia. Any skill level accepted.
“You really think you can walk away from this? Not in my city.”
“Move it! I don’t have all day, and I don’t like waiting.”
“Damn it! What the hell do you want from me?!”
A 4-line role requiring decent skill level.
“You really think you can walk away from this? Not in my city.”
“Move it! I don’t have all day, and I don’t like waiting.”
“Damn it! What the hell do you want from me?!”
A small role simply requiring you to shout something along the lines of "Yes sir!"
"Yes sir, on it."
Must be able to express frustration and fear, with decent skill. 3 lines.
“Damn it! What the hell do you want from me?!”
“Move it! I don’t have all day, and I don’t like waiting.”
“You really think you can walk away from this? Not in my city.”
“Move it! I don’t have all day, and I don’t like waiting.”
The Mafia Lieutenant's right hand man running a risky operation.
“You really think you can walk away from this? Not in my city.”
“Move it! I don’t have all day, and I don’t like waiting.”
“Damn it! What the hell do you want from me?!”
A one-liner role involving shouting orders.
"MOVE IT! GO!"
"GET DOWN NOW!"
The second operative leader of a dangerous mission.
“Damn it! What the hell do you want from me?!”
“Move it! I don’t have all day, and I don’t like waiting.”
“You really think you can walk away from this? Not in my city.”
Must be able to realistically cut off a sentence as though you’ve been interrupted (it often sounds unnatural when acted out, I’m looking for an actor who can make it sound natural), also requires a single line where you shout orders.
“Step away from the doo—HEY! GET DOWN!”
“Everyone, take cover! Now! Move!”
Must be able to make choking and injured sounds (character is grabbed by the throat and repeatedly slammed against a countertop until dead).
(Imitate sounds of impact, like you're being hit against a surface. Include pained groans and yells, repeated roughly 3 times.)
The father of the main antagonist, a crucial role in showcasing the tragic upbringing of a feared crime boss. Looking for people with a semi-deep, fatherly voice.
(in disbelief and shock) "My own son..?! How could you betray us like this?"
(proud) "It's your first day, son! I am so proud of you... Now go get them!"
Samuel's disappointed mother who discovers the drugs in his room, sparking his downfall into the world of crime.
(shocked, screaming) "What the hell is this?!"
"Are you kidding me? GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"
A hispanic accent and smug, “I own everything” tone is preferable as the character is a former Mexican cartel member. He gets into a scuffle with another character, so make sure you can perform sounds of injury.
"Keep dreamin' kid... but this is my gang, you're under my rules."
(threatening) "I'll teach you some respect..."
(imitate being punched, and punching someone else)
One-liner role involving shouting.
(shouting angrily and with defiance) "WE'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU, BLACKWOOD!"
A calm, very quiet, professional attitude, like a secret agent.
"The Syndicate merely wishes to help."
"Mr. Blackwood, we have a great deal of respect for you."
You only need to be able to yell a single standard police line as per the script.
"Freeze! Drop the bags! Hands where I can see them!"
You must be able to shout orders but sound reluctant to carry out the task, and sympathetic to the person you're arresting, for important plot reasons. If possible, add some minor hesitation breaks in your sentences, almost as if you're being forced to say it (the character is not actually being forced, but the tone is there).
"Drop the weapon! It's over!"
Not much is required for this role, you'll only need to say a single line for a conversation with another mafia guard.
"You think he'll keep her alive, or just waste her?"
You only need to say a role to converse with another guard, as well as a line for radio chatter.
"She's just bait, who cares?"
"Preparing execution squad in room 7."
Just shout a single mafia command.
"It's the Investigator! Get him!"
You'll have a conversation with a very large role character, so good skill is required (not top notch, but good).
"He's still out there, and we're running out of time..."
"Everything we once had is GONE... We... are in danger sir."
You'll shout a single line, but your character is killed halfway through. Despite this quick end, the character is extremely plot important.
"I've been looking for you! You killed my pa- (now, let out a single, weak grunt, like you were shot and killed)"
