Project Overview

Hey all, it's Cu na Saoirse! Back at it again with another fun project! Please make sure to read THIS ENTIRE description before you audition please. That includes Audition Requirements and Voice Requirements!

The project this time is for a fun little gem I've wanted to do for a while, and now that I am back to mod Skyrim, I'm gonna finally do it. I always detested how little the Daedra played a role in Skyrim. For such an iconic enemy force, there are almost no Daedra at all in the game! So, this mod - titled "Conjurer Xivilai" - seeks to bring some of the most dangerous Daedra in Oblivion to the game in service to warlocks and conjurers. However, I need a voice actress/actor. The Xivilai do not have a default voice, so that's where you come in. Read the role below for details.


VOICE REQUIREMENTS

A willingness and ability to cast your voice out for threats and shouts. 

Multiple takes are encouraged (2-3) for each audition line but NOT required!

You must follow the voicing instructions crystal clearly. Any audition with mess-ups on specific instructions w/o any attempts to fix WILL BE disqualified.

Must not be afraid to get vulgar or loud!

-Crisp, clean audio. No hums*, pops, hisses, or background noise. Any audition with these found inside WILL BE disqualified!

                 *Hums, if distant enough to be hardly noticeable, can pass auditioning ONLY if the voice actor can remove them when asked.

-Show emotion! Any audition without emotion or effort WILL BE disqualified!

- Communication can be conducted through Discord or CCC.

-You will be be voicing exactly 76 lines of dialogue.

-Have fun!

If you are disqualified, feel free to re-audition! There is no negativity here, only positivity and room for improvement!

  • Deadline reached, many auditions to go through!

    So the deadline for the project has been reached, and I do apologize for my silence. As I've stated before I work a full time job and clock in at least 80-100 hours a pay period. So my time is sparse these days. However, I have the time tonight to compile a script and select some voice actors. There are so many great auditions for this project, but only two can be chosen! Stay tuned! I'll make my decisions tonight! Thank you all for your interest in this!

    Hey all, sorry for my silence. My full time job has required my full attention as of late, but I've had the time to glance at CCC. It's amazing seeing all the auditions that have been posted, especially from people whom I've worked with before. Unfortunately, I can only select one person for each role, and I'll deliberate carefully. Look forward to my notes and comments!

Xivilai are highly intelligent Daedra that look like tall and muscular blue/gray-skinned warriors with piercing yellow eyes. They are similar in many ways to their fellow most human-like daedra such as the Dremora in terms of appearance, personality, and temperament, but are of greater power and disdain subordination, being liable to disloyalty and betrayal when they feel they have not been treated with the proper deference and respect. They are rarely bound to a clan, and only the most powerful in the Daedric hierarchy can compel their obedience. Thus they are most commonly seen in the service of entities such as Mehrunes Dagon and Molag Bal. They often wield two-handed weapons and cast a wide variety of spells, including one to summon lesser Daedra.
