UPDATE: This casting call has been reopened and has no decided deadline. Characters casted were casted once the original deadline, February 7th came around. However, I decided to reopen the rest of the cast so that we can get more auditions for the other characters.
DEADLINE: Feb 7th (may be extended and if it is I will let you all know). Late submissions may not be able to be considered depending on when they are submitted. If you're lucky and are able to submit it before I send some auditions to the casting team, you may be considered. If not unfortunately there is not much I can do once talents have been finalized. Once the casting call name has (casting in progress) in the title then late submissions will not be accepted. If an extension is needed, please contact me and we can possibly work things out from there! However, the extension must be reasonable, for example, 2 months after the deadline is not very reasonable.
Who Are We?
Ceragon Dubs is a fandubbing group that is currently dubbing over Shall We Date? otome games by the company NTT Solmare. Some of these projects include Wizardess Heart, Lost Alice, and Blood In Roses. In the past, we had dubbed some Webtoon comics, however, due to Webtoon's Daily Pass introduction, they had to be cancelled. The current focus of the channel and production is bringing otome games to life by voice acting.
**Please note: The production team and I have received permission to fandub this otome from Dicesuki to do this awhile ago! I just wanted to finish up some of the other dub projects first before introducing a new dub.
DISCLAIMER: NONE OF THIS IS PAID! I wish I could pay you all, but I am a broke college student drowning in debt. I am not earning money from the channel, our Patreon, or even our ko-fi so unfortunately there will not be any payment. In the future, if this changes I DO hope to start paying everyone involved, but that's only if start earning enough money.
Rules/Auditioning Guidelines:
1. Before auditioning you must keep in mind these are all LONG TERM roles. So please, audition at your own risk. Deadlines for lines will usually be about 3-4 weeks, but may be more or less depending on when the lines are needed. On rare cases, if the lines assigned are an emergency the deadline may be shorter(deadlines would be 1-2 weeks in this case).
2. Because this will be long term, you will need to be dedicated to your role. If you are going to audition, get casted, then leave once lines have been assigned/are due, please do not audition. Likewise, if you are going to ghost me (going MIA which is missing in action) then please do not audition. If you need to leave because of personal circumstances, I DO understand. I am not insensitive, and all I ask that you contact me before leaving and do not leave me hanging!
3. You will NEED a discord account. This is where our projects will be taking place, and how lines will be sent and received. There are no exceptions. Please understand that I will NOT be doing live direction/voice calls over discord due to personal circumstances and scheduling conflictions. If you specifically only want do to live readings, I'm sorry, but this is not the project for you.
4. All auditions submitted must be professional. (Examples, but are not limited to: outtatakes/messing up mid-line, people talking to you or yelling in the background, etc.) When you are doing your official lines, this will also be a requirement as well-- so in a way this is preparing you and letting you know what I expect ahead of time. Auditions that do not fulfill this requirement will be dismissed. If that is the case, you're more than welcomed to resubmit.
5. In addition, good audio quality is a MUST. The team and I will be a lot more pickier with audio quality for this project. Please no muffled audio, echos, white noise, static, etc. I may make exceptions here and they if they are really minor or not noticeable and can be edited out, but if they are VERY noticeable I'm afraid I won't be able to. Unfortunately, auditions that do not fulfill this requirement may be dismissed. If that is the case, you're more than welcomed to resubmit once you have better audio. Audio quality, however, MUST be consistent throughout the series. If you have great quality in your audition, but once you do lines there are lots of echoes and static then this is what I mean.
6. Submit 2-3 takes per line, each with different intonations in an AABBCC format(if you don't know what that means, then different line deliveries/emotions. "Takes" in the voice acting field means "repeating the line"). If you do not do this, especially for a role that carries more responsibility and work, the team and I will be unable to get a better idea of your range.
7. Please be easy to work with. All members in my team, whether it be staff members, your fellow VAs, myself, etc. must be respected. There is no need to insult a staff member for sending you a reminder for lines, or insult other members in the server. If I ask for retakes or ask you to submit things a certain way because it was done incorrectly, there is no need to be disrespectful and rude. Like you, we would all like to be respected.
8. Though not required, it would be helpful for you to include your discord + tag in the comments or notes of your audition, as well as other ways to contact you. Contacting you on discord would be the last resort as I would prefer not to have to add you (it's only because I contact so many people on a daily basis I may miss the notification that you added me back, and also because I may end up forgetting why I needed to contact you as my memory is very poor). Having your discord ahead of time is ESPECIALLY helpful because the staff and I can confirm that you are, indeed supposed to be on our server. Please do not message me this information as I will miss your message due to my inbox having a lot of messages! If for some reason I am unable to contact you via Casting Call Club, I will have some form of account ready to contact. Understand that if you are not responsive on Casting Call Club and do not have some way for me to contact you outside of Casting Call, you will be recasted. For those that do not want to leave this as public information, please do not send a submission on Casting Call Club. 9. Proceeding to audition for any of these roles means you understand that you must be on top of your work(if you get casted). Strikes will be issued for missing or late work, and I have the right to remove you from the project if you have met all of your strikes. However, extensions may always be granted as long as you ask me. I will not say no unless it is an emergency. If you also go MIA (missing in action)/unresponsive despite me trying to contact you numerous times, I have the right to remove you from the cast with or without prior notice.
10. DO NOT AUDITION if you do not like scripts being sent as videos! It is important that each auditioner understands this. Due to the length of some of the chapters(each chapter is about an hour long) and being short on staff, text scripts will not be provided. It should not come across as a shock when you start doing official lines that there are no text scripts being provided. Here is an example of what scripts will look like. I will try my best to provide scripts, but because I also have to balance my classes and the work of over 150 VAs on the server, this may not be entirely possible.
11. Due to the huge amount of characters that are in need of casting, you are allowed to audition for multiple characters. However, it goes without saying that it does not guarantee you'll be casted for any or all roles you audition for. As a heads up, due to the nature of how heavy most of these roles are, I most likely will be avoiding double casting unless at least one of the roles you are being considered for is less dialogue heavy.
12. Knowledge of the otome will help a lot! If you have played it before or dabbled with it, please let me know! It won't determine whether or not you will be casted; it just would help me get a good idea of who does/doesn't know what's going on in the storyline once we have an official cast. For instance, if it turns out no one knows, then I will make guides to help the VAs better understand their character(s) so that they may have an easier time connecting with their character(s).
13. There are some difficult names here and there, so just try to pronounce them as best as you can. I have not provided any pronunciation guides, so it would be unfair of me and the casting team to count it against you. I have instructed the casting team to ignore mispronunciations, so once again, no worries if things are mispronounced.
14. Please do not private your auditions. If the casting team cannot access your audition, we unfortunately cannot consider you because they won't be able to hear it. 15. Lastly, there is a mandatory interview for every VA in the cast once they have completed their main story content (if they are a lead), or if they have completed a few assignments for their character already (supporting, familiars, etc.). This series will be called "Meet the Cast." If you will not be comfortable with this, please do not audition. If you are curious to see what the series is about, the link will be here. The Meet the Cast will only be optional for behind the scenes crew, such as artists, editors, etc. if they are not comfortable. These are all scripted questions.
Additional Info:
- Just as a heads-up to all auditions: if you are selected to join the team, there is a high possibility I will be using your auditions as a "voice reveal" type of announcement on the channel. This series may be viewed here. The purpose of this series is to kind of "hype" up the project, you and your voice, and the character itself.
- If I cannot play your audition I will contact you by commenting on your audition. If you do not resubmit by the time the official deadline comes around, I can no longer consider you. If I cannot play your audition then there really is not much I can do. Auditions that cannot be played will be dismissed. Most likely if it cannot be played then please check your format! This site needs audio formats such as mp3 or .wav.
Callbacks:
If you do not know what a callback is, it means that the casting team or I enjoyed your audition, but would like to hear something different from you. Example of this could be a change of pitch, different line delivery, etc. Callbacks are very important as it will help the casting team and/or I decide who to cast out of our top picks. Not submitting a callback after a certain amount of time tells us you are no longer interested in the role, and therefore we may go with someone else. A callback may also be me contacting you because I think your voice may fit what I am looking for for another character. If you don't submit a callback for the character(s) I requested, you will still be considered for the other character(s) you auditioned for. You just won't be considered for the character(s) I requested because if you don't submit a submission for the requested character(s) then that probably means you just aren't interested in them.
Plotline:
The plan for this otome is to do a full dub of the entire game.
Synopsis: Four years after the end of the Great War and the loss of her mother, Crown Princess Lucette of Angielle is till struggling to come to terms with her new life and step-family. Cold-hearted and bitter, Lucette's life is once again turned upside-down by the Fairytail Curse, and she is thrown into a battle to regain her crown in a fractured kingdom where nothing is at is seems.
**I won't be casting any roles until the deadline. However, the exceptions are for the artist and writer teams (mostly artists). If you are casted for any of these, I will reach out to you via direct messages! The other exceptions are Varg and Sir Mythros, who have been casted at the original deadline of February 7th.

With Cinderella Phenomenon, I am looking to go in a different direction and actually be able to provide text scripts for the cast. As a script writer, you're pretty much just going to be typing scripts up and helping me out with that, which will also include vocal direction.
Now that we have the majority of the cast, production is ready to be started! We are pretty much going to be turning a video script into a text script by typing it out. As a script writer, you're pretty much just going to be typing scripts up and helping me out with that, which will also include vocal direction. So this means you will have to be comfortable giving directions to the VAs. Vocal direction is basically adding adjective indicators and suggesting tones the should cast should go with. For example [happy, muttering]. By having the script writers helping me out with this, I will be able to have more availability to type up as many scripts as I can so that you all have less on your plate.
I am looking for multiple script writers so that we can split the work and have everyone work in segments of 15-20 minutes. That way, there will be at least four people working on one chapter at a time. The more people working on a chapter, the less work we all have to do, and the quicker we can get scripts sent out. However, I will also be trying to take on as many scripts as I can on my own so that you all do not have to do as much work! For reference, at the moment, there are 35 scripts left needing to be typed up.
If you have written scripts before or directed, please provide a resume below! You will have to be reliable though. Although I will try to do some chapters on my own I need a reliable team to help me get work done faster and actually get completed!

This is the general application for the production team. What that means is you will be helping to make thumbnails for the other projects-- mostly Wizardess Heart, Genshin Impact, and POSSIBLY Cinderella Phenomenon. For Genshin Impact, instead of a black background, I will be asking the artists to either pick a scene from the fic (or I will choose it) and ask for that to be done. This will be used not only for the thumbnail, but throughout the audio reading as well. YOU MAY NEED TO DRAW YOUR OWN BACKGROUND IF IT IS FOR A GENSHIN IMPACT THUMBNAIL! I will try my best to get in-game scenery so we don't have do to this, but just incase I am putting this here.
How will this work? Thumbnail work is on a voluntary basis. The team will also have to work together to get assignments done. Work will be split into three positions: sketching, lineart, and coloring/shading. You do NOT have to draw backgrounds unless you want to! Otherwise, in-game backgrounds will be provided. Aspect ratios for thumbnails must ALWAYS be 16:9 or 1280x720 pixels.
The sketch artist will always be the one deciding how the thumbnail will go. When I give out assignments, I will be giving ideas of what I would like for the thumbnail, but ultimately it is up to the sketch artist. They can go with their own idea, or pick one of mine.
There will be 3-4 assignments per month, but may expand depending on if the team grows. Each artist has 2 weeks to get their portion of the work done. If you are doing your own sketches, inking, and coloring, you will get a month to get everything done. So work will kind of be going at a fast pace.
When submitting your application, in the notes of your audition please let me know which of the following positions you are interested in: sketches, lineart/inking, coloring/shading, or all of the above. If you prefer to do your own work with no help, it would help for you to mention that as well please!
If you do an assignment one month, you will be exempt from doing another assignment the next time one is assigned. That way, everyone pitches in to help! If you end up taking an assignment and you aren't able to do it, just let me know (preferably way before it is due-- not the day the assignment is due, and not when the assignment is late). I can ask if someone else wants to cover for you. However, when the next assignment is assigned you will not be exempt from it, and will be asked if you can help.

The team and I are looking to expand the channel's content, and do stuff that is more original so they we may one day be eligible to monetize our videos (our dubs cannot be monetized due to contract reasons), so the plan is post fanfic readings.
However, in order to do fanfic readings, I will need some help so that is why I am trying to create a writing team. Please do not apply if you will not be okay with us POSSIBLY monetizing the video your fanfic will be featured in in the future. There will occasionally be times where viewers can submit their own fanfics for a reading, but other than that the fics we will post on the channel will be original ones the writing team and I have come up with.
Once I am able to start earning a decent amount of money from the channel's videos(this will only happen once we get enough watch hours since thats the only requirement that is missing), ko-fi, or patreon, I will try my best to pay anyone involved with our videos. IF ALL WORKS OUT, AND IF THE I AM ABLE TO EARN MONEY, I cannot guarantee that you will be paid huge sums of money for your work. It really just depends on how well our videos, patreon, and ko-fi do. I cannot make any promises if this will work or not, so there is a chance you may be doing unpaid work as well. Please understand that I am currently a full-time college student and I cannot afford to pay anyone at the moment, so that is why it is very important that you understand what you may be singing up for by proceeding.

If you are casted to join the team, I'm not really strict on what you do. I'm usually all for creative freedom as long as it is within reason(goes without saying, no racism, sexual assault, etc. I would mostly like to do one-shot fics, but chapter fics are allowed. Writing is something you should have full range on and have fun while doing it so I am not picky. The only requirement is you will have to come up with one fic per every 4 months. I will be holding myself to this standard. If you are doing a chapter fic, then one chapter every 4 months fits this requirement.
I don't really care what kind of fandoms you write fics for either, HOWEVER, the team and I would like to mostly focus on Genshin Impact, The Arcana, and/or Wizardess Heart(so if you are part of any of the fandoms that's a huge bonus since you already know the characters, but if you are not, you might want to do some research on the characters). I am NOT opposed to the idea of doing fanfic readings for other fandoms though! I just want to have a main focus for fanfics on the channel, if that makes sense. I will also be looking to create a brainstorm team to help the writers out, so brainstormers can probably toss ideas here and there and if a writer likes that idea they can create a fic from it.
Please be friendly or at the very least professional. Some writers may submit their work in the writers group chat for feedback or proofreads, so they may ask for constructive criticism/feedback. There is no need to diss a fellow writer's work or make fun or them.

After a lot of consideration, I have decided to reopen the role of the protagonist. Due to the nature of how important this role is I am very picky with her voice and acting performance and since I am reopening this casting call away, I decided to go on ahead and include her to let this role bake a bit more.

Disclaimer: Because the protagonist role is such a huge one, there is a possibility I may be casting multiple VAs to voice this character to be able to the divide the work so it doesn't all fall onto one person. There are 5 routes total, and because each chapter is around an hour long(I believe that there are 9 chapters each, with 3 endings but not all of the endings are an hour long. So I'll say there's about 10 and a half chapters length wise) there is a huge amount of work. Please do not audition for this role if you will not commit to the work required. I will probably be assigning lines for this character every 2-3 (or even 4, maybe even longer) months depending on how things go, and your preferred schedule which you will be picking once you join the server. In addition to being committed, you must be able to demonstrate a range of acting abilities such as but not limited to: screaming/yelling, crying, etc.
Lucette is the crown princess of Angielle. She is half human and half witch, and lost her mother at a young age. Ever since the death of her mother, Lucette became bitter about everything and hated people. Especially in the prologue, she is very rude and cold towards the other characters. She feels no guilt for her attitude, not even seeing anything wrong with her behavior. Even if the other characters are being nice or considerate towads her, Lucette treats them all the same. After she is cursed by Delora, she claims to be the victim of it all. Lucette ends up with the Cinderella curse, but in reverse. She goes from riches to rags overnight, and is forced to complete three acts of good in order to break her curse. Since she has never done anything nice in her life, Lucette doesn't understand the concept of goodness. Breaking the curse proves to be a very difficult task for her.
Lucette hates her step mother and step siblings. However, the one she hates the most is her step sister. She genuinely believes that Emelaigne is trying to take her place as the crowned princess.
When her mother was alive, Lucette was taught to believe that nobody else in the world loved her as much as her mother. Being young and naive, Lucette listened to her mother and gave into the "mother knows best." It didn't help that after her mother's death, her father did not show her any care. He seemed to care more about his new wife and step children more than Lucette, causing her to dislike her father further.
You will sort of do two voices/vocal tones for this character well. One for when she has her cold attitude, and another for when her icy attitude has "thawed" away.
Voice: High to medium pitched, cold, selfish, and uncaring. Can also be up to interpretation, as long as it remains within the desired pitch.
2nd voice: It should be in the same pitch you did the other voice in, but this time warmer or kinder. Maybe a bit more gentle. Other interpretations are also allowed
If it helps, Dicesuki(developer of the otome) has mentioned their head canon for her is Kana Hanazawa. I honestly don't think this fits, but perhaps you may convince me otherwise!
Audition tip: She needs to sound REALLY mean and unapproachable in the first two lines. She should not be sounding nice at all.
(Cold, putting up a tough act, very uncaring) You cannot rely on anyone but yourself. You cannot trust anyone but yourself. This is what you have taught me..... Your Majesty.
(Blunt, harsh, rude) I didn't come here for you. I came because I was ordered to do so. If I could have it my way, I wouldn't have come here at all. [Line 3](Narration) Rod's expression turns grim. He clearly disapproves of me even just being in the same room as him. As soon as Parfait leaves, he shoots a glare in my direction.
[both lines are in the 2nd voice] [Context: Her lover is dying in front of her] (Kinda in agony? crying, begging, shouting) No, no, no, NO!! Please no!!! (Quiet, still through tears, voice breaking) I… I killed him… [Line 6] (Putting the pieces together, undertone of sadness, empathizing, possibly gentle/soft) You loved a woman once, but she only loved you because of your curse. The minute you transformed, she was scared of you... wasn't she?

**You may possibly be doing two voices for this character. One for Rod, the other as "Sebby" or Sebastian (the puppet that speaks for Rod). I am unsure if I will keep Rod's VA voicing Sebby, or if I will separate the two.
Rod's curse is "The Little Mermaid." Similar to the story, Rod trades his voice to a witch for something in return. Instead of legs, he becomes a Prince over night. If he does not get the person he loves to love him back, he will end up dying. Rod's family doesn't know about this part, they just know he lost his voice because of his curse. If he doesn't get the person he loves to love him back, he must kill them instead. Rod refuses to try and do either(because the one he loves is engaged already), and gives up on breaking his curse. He is only able to talk now because of a plush bunny (Sebby/Sebeastian) given to him by Parfait.
At first, Rod is respectful and tolerant of Lucette, However, once he finds out that she is cursed he shows his true feelings towards her. He pretty much dislikes her, and is happy that he doesn't have to pretend to like her anymore. Just being in the same room or around Lucette is enough to piss Rod off. He is cold and rude to her because he believes she has treated his family poorly in the past, so he has a bit of a grudge against her.
Rod can be very stubborn, grumpy, and can be a bit cold to others to purposefully put a distance between them. However, he loves and cares for his family above all else so will tolerate or do certain things to make them happy. He is very protective of his family, but is mostly protective over his sister because he knows how nice she can be. When asked about his curse, he looses his patience rather quickly and gets irritated or upset. He tries to avoid the topic at all costs. Rod isn't very good at expression his thoughts and emotions either.
Rod also has a sweet and shy side to him, that can make him a bit embarrassed quite easily.
Rod's voice: High to medium pitched. However, he needs to sound young and slighty masc (or at least boyish) since he is around 15-16. Maybe cold or grumpy could work. Also open to interpretation as long as it remains within the range of the desired pitch.Possible voice example. If it helps, Dicesuki(developer of the otome) has mentioned their head canon for him is Yuki Kaji. I don't really think this fits, but perhaps you may change my mind.
Sebby's voice: high pitched(must be higher than Rod's voice, as it is stated in-game), possibly friendly or even cute. This also pretty much open to interpretation as well.
(Concerned) Are you alright?
(Blunt, cold) I've never seen my family happier than they are now. I'd say it is a good thing you aren't a princess anymore.
[Context: The Princess asks the plush bunny a question. After Sebby responds, Rod quickly cuts in](Sebby's voice) No I don't, princess. Rod doesn't want me to talk with others since he think that I might say something unnecessary.(Rod's voice, a bit snappy or irritated) So much for that. You still speak, even when it is unnecessary.

Garlan is really easy to tease, especially when it comes to his feelings for Jurien. Unfortunately the two only become an item in Karma's route. In all routes, Garlan is extremely protective over Jurien. He even joins the guards just to watch over her. Garlan strongly believes that loyalty is a form of kindness. Garlan is easy to get along with and is not problematic at all.
Like Jurien, Garlan was once a knight serving the royal family. However, he and Jurien were stripped of their titles over an accusation they had no proof of.
Voice: Up for interperation, but my preferred pitch is something in the medium to deep range

Rumple has the Rumplestiltskin curse which causes him to have amnesia. He was given this curse because he went to a witch to help him save three lives. In return, he gave her three items. Once of those items, was his memories. To break his curse he has to read journal entries about himself, which will appear in a journal that was given to him by the witch. He has to gain three important memories by reading these journals.
Before he was cursed, Rumple was a doctor who tried to save the lives of as many people as he could. He seems to care about this job so much that he goes as far as making a deal with a witch to save the lives of three of his patients. He is well-versed in medical matters and gets very serious when discussing topics relating to this.
Rumple is extremely flirty, and will flatter any woman that he meets. He attracts many women with this, and also becomes a ladies man. However, most of his compliments are swallow. When it comes to Lucette and his route, the compliments he gives to her are genuine. Rumple also has a playful side to him. After flirting with Miss Karma and discovering she is a man, he still flirts with her. Karma gets annoyed, and Rumple brushes it off saying something like "can't a man compliment another man" or something like that.
Voice: Medium to high pitch, flamboyant, flirtatious. Very flamboyant especially when he is flirting- the more the better. I honestly imagine him to be overly-dramatic in the Shakespeare sort of way, if that makes any sense or helps at all.This example could possibly work, but just overly dramatic in terms of acting

Jurien was once a knight serving the royal family. However, she and Garlan were stripped of their titles over an accusation they had no proof of. While serving under the royal family, she and Garlan were some of the strongest knights.
Jurien is known for her serious attitude, and is a strong and capable woman. She does not need a man to bow down to, and would never do so in the first place. Jurien is independent and doesn't trust a stranger or someone she just met with her own safety. She feels much more comfortable entrusting her life to someone like Garlan, who she has known for the longest time. Garlan is also her love interest, and she teases him from time to time when they start dating(only in Karma's route). Jurien believes that bravery is a form of kindness.
Voice: Any pitch, though somewhere in the medium to mid-deep range would be nice. This one is open for other interpretations as well but she should not sound overly "girly". She is not a damsel in distress, and is a very tough woman who can fend for herself. For some reason, I picture something similar to Erza Scarlet(a lot less strong sounding though) for her so perhaps this sample may give some inspiration for a voice for her. I can also see Elizabeth Maxwell's performances of Winter and Ymir (both in the same video) for Jurien, so something similar to either would be nice! This character's voice is something I also find fitting (Dont know who the VA is but I think it is still Maxwell)

Miss Karma is considered to be the most beautiful woman in all of the lands. During the day time, Karma dresses up as "Miss Karma" and drinks a potion from Parfait in order to have the voice of a woman. Karma cross dresses as a woman due to his curse which is Beauty and the Beast. Any non-cursed or mythical woman who sees his face will instantly fall in love with him. Karma assumes the role of "Miss Karma" to prevent this to an extent. While in this form, a lot of the ladies look up to Miss Karma and even admire her. Miss Karma can also be a bit narcissistic at times, knowing that she is "the fairest beauty in all of the lands." However she is always gentle and caring towards the ladies.
Voice: Any pitch(though medium is most preferred), gentle, and/or possibly elegant or even flirtatious. Smooth may also work, also open to other interpretations as long as it still sounds feminine passing because it is canon his voice sounds exactly like a woman's in this form. A possible example I could see for this character is “Lucinda”(orange haired character in the purple dress, skip to 0:26) from Aphmau’s “minecraft diaries”

Waltz has the "Neverland" curse, which forces him to be stuck in the body of a child. Waltz is a witch like Delora and Lucette, however, because he is cursed he is unable to fully wield his powers. He can only use magic to do a few tricks here and there, which is how he is able to perform his street tricks. In order for Waltz to break his curse, he must find his shadow that Hildyr trapped away in a golden box (Neverland). He must find a golden key (Tinkerbell) and unlock the box with it in order to be able to revert to his true form.
Waltz cares for anyone in need of help and loves to entertain children with his stories, puppet shows, and magic shows. He is sincere, kind, and mature beyond his age. Waltz firmly believes in magic, smiles, and laughter.
In his own route, it is revealed that Waltz and Lucette were childhood friends. He was also one of Hildyr's apprentices. Waltz is a free hearted and kind spirit who cares a lot about Lucette. Waltz' training with Hildyr was gloomy, but Lucette brightened his days like a star. He ended up giving her the nickname of "My little star."
Voice: Up to interpretation. If it helps, Dicesuki(developer of the otome) has mentioned their head canon for him is Kenn so it may give you an idea of what they tried to do with the character but I'm really open to anything.

**Before auditioning, please understand that this protagonist is a main lead. You must be able to showcase a range of emotions (cry, being angry, happy, etc). After you do the audition lines, you're free to include some of your own little takes to showcase your acting range if you wish, but it is not required.
There will be multiple VAs voicing the same character in BOTH the side stories, and the main stories. Side-Story protagonists will also be understudies to the main cast(those voicing the main characters in actual routes) so if something happens and they are unable to turn in their lines, I may ask you to help them out.
If you are NOT comfortable with singing, and choose to still audition, please say so. You dont have to be the best singer of all time, but you would have a higher chance of being selected if so. You just would have to be comfortable with singing a few bits and pieces(it doesn't need to sound like a professional is singing). The reason this is listed as a singer role is because she does a bit of spell-singing (casting spells with song) in some of the routes. I just prefer it if you were comfortable with singing in case you are chosen in the situation where you may have to be someone's understudy. So again, being okay with singing IS NOT a requirement.

Personality:The protagonist is a kind-hearted, loyal, clumsy, and somewhat naïve girl. Her attitude is generally optimistic, and she tends to see the best in people, making her rather gullible and prone to being teased and pranked. She is also very innocent and easily embarrassed, though is very stubborn when she wishes to be--a trait shown particularly in Azusa's route.While she is genuinely kind and brave, the protagonist also displays occasionally reckless tendencies. She tends not to think her actions completely through, and thus disregards the possibility of potential danger to herself.The protagonist is canonically a rather terrible student, with a tendency towards carelessness and forgetfulness in her studies. She tends to be overwhelmed by emotion; for instance, she is so excited to receive the Acceptance Letter that she does not even read it through, thus missing out on various crucial details regarding the school and the provisional terms of her enrollment.She often thinks of others before herself and in acts of selflessness, gets into trouble.

Mythros is a witch whose goal is to revive Hildyr. Because he was one of her guards, he has an intense devotion to her and will do whatever he can to bring her back. His plot to revive Hildyr is partially ruled by his desperation to be recognized by and impress his teacher.
Mythros is one of the antagonists in the otome. He is smart, cunning, and manipulative. He uses Alcaster to achieve his own personal goals, and when he has no use for him, discards him. Mythros is also a bit arrogant, knowing that he is one of the most powerful witches. This causes him to be careless, which leads to his death most endings.
Voice: High to medium, sneaky, or cunning and smooth. An example is something similar to Varys(portrayed by Conleth Hill) from Game of Thrones. Not voice matching, but in terms of sneakiness and cunning. He needs to also sound dangerous and/or insane when needed as well.
(Amused, proudly admitting to the princess' suspicions) I'll say it for you. Yes, I'm a witch.
(He needs to sound dangerous right now) It is too late to turn back now, Princess. (Going a bit insane as his ultimate plan succeeds) Yes, yes, yes!!
If it makes you feel any better, he refused to be a part of this. (Disappointed) Shame. And here I thought I would be witnessing a dramatic farewell tonight.

Fritz/Varg has the Little Red Riding Hood curse. However, Fritz is not aware of the fact that he is cursed. This curse causes him to transform into his alter ego and polar opposite named Varg. Mythros cursed Fritz so that he could have a personal assistant to carry out the deeds that Fritz would not do. When Varg takes control, he is able to retain all of Fritz's memories. However, when Fritz is in control he does not remember Varg's actions because he thinks he was asleep. If Fritz is not able to break his curse by overpowering Varg, Varg will end up taking full control of his body and Fritz will cease to exist. Likewise, if Fritz is able to overpower Varg, Varg will disappear.
Varg is can be rude, tantalizing, and overconfident. However, he still cares a lot about Lucette even if he won't admit it. He enjoys teasing Lucette and making her mad. Sometimes, Varg will go against his orders and help out Lucette because of his soft spot for her. He usually just plays it off and says he's doing it for his own amusement. He conducts himself in a very elegant way, always formally introducing himself or bowing from time to time.
Varg is part of Fritz's personality: one that he would not show to Lucette or anyone else. Varg is pretty much Fritz's dark side.
Voice: Any pitch (preferably on the lower end), possibly elegant and/or sneaky. Also open for other types of interpretation. Although it does not quite fit the character, I am looking for something kind of gentlemanly like, fit for a noble(not really a stuck-up one) if that makes sense. In my vision of this character he can fool you into believing he is a charismatic young man but in reality it is just a mask he is putting up, and I'd like the voice to reflect that.
[Context: Sir Alcaster is following Varg. Varg being as sharp as always, notices. The "boy" he is referring to is Fritz](Insulted, maybe defensive) Don't think I'm a useless idiot like the boy. Of course I noticed.
(Serious, kinda an undertone of venom) But in this case, your bravado is stupidity.
