2837 Productions (Minecraft)
Project Overview
2837 Productions is a newly formed creative team as it only has 1 member (Ivan), and this is the first official recruitment.
While the team is new, we already have one completed series under our belt, The Village Experiment (Settlement 23), with another major project, The Last Trip, beginning soon. We're looking for creative individuals who want to help shape the future of the team from the very beginning.
Available PositionsBuilder – Create maps, structures, and environments.
Writer – Assist with stories, lore, and worldbuilding.
Artist – Create thumbnails, logos, and promotional artwork.
Recorder – Capture footage during sessions and events.
Editor – Turn recordings into finished videos and promotional content.
RequirementsMust be 13 years of age or older.
Be respectful and work well with others.
Be reliable and complete work within agreed-upon timeframes.
Be willing to communicate when available or unavailable.
Previous experience is appreciated but not required.
All positions within 2837 Productions are volunteer roles. Team members are free to leave at any time and are not expected to participate in every project.
If a project does not interest you, or if you're busy with school, work, or personal responsibilities, you may choose not to participate without leaving the team.
Whether you're looking to gain experience, build a portfolio, or use your time here as a stepping stone toward future opportunities, that's completely fine. The only thing we ask is that team members communicate when possible so projects can be planned accordingly.

Builders are responsible for helping create the structures, and environments used throughout 2837 Productions projects.
This may include building towns, landmarks, interiors, adventure locations, terrain improvements, and other structures needed for roleplay series, events, and story-driven projects.
RequirementsMust be 13 years of age or older.
Must own Minecraft Java Edition.
Must have a device capable of running modded Minecraft.
Must be able to work with other builders when necessary.
Must be reliable and complete assigned tasks within agreed-upon timeframes.

Recorders are responsible for capturing footage during sessions, events, and productions. Their recordings help create trailers, videos, promotional content, and backups of important moments.
Recorders will typically join sessions in spectator mode and may occasionally be given instructions on who or what to focus on during recording.
RequirementsMust be 13 years of age or older.
Must own Minecraft Java Edition.
Must have a device capable of running modded Minecraft while recording.
Must be able to record stable footage at a reasonable quality.
Must be reliable and submit footage within a reasonable timeframe after sessions.

Editors are responsible for turning raw footage into finished videos. This may include cutting footage, adding music, subtitles, sound effects, transitions, and helping create trailers or promotional content.
Editors may work with footage from recorders, participants, or project leaders depending on the needs of a project.
Please note that projects may involve large amounts of footage. Individual raw recordings will often be at least 2 hours long, and depending on the number of recorders involved, editors may receive multiple recordings from the same session. The total amount of footage can vary significantly from project to project.
Deadlines will be determined on a project-by-project basis and may change depending on the amount of footage assigned. Editors will be given reasonable time to complete their work, but are expected to communicate if they need additional time.

Writers help create and develop stories, lore, characters, adventures, worldbuilding, and project concepts for 2837 Productions.
Depending on the project, writers may assist with planning storylines, creating locations and factions, writing documents and messages, developing characters, or brainstorming new ideas for future productions.

Must be reliable and able to complete assigned work within agreed-upon timeframes.
Must be willing to work with others and accept feedback.
Must be able to communicate ideas clearly.
Must be willing to keep unreleased project information confidential.

Artists help create visual content for 2837 Productions. This may include logos, thumbnails, promotional artwork, posters, character art, banners, social media graphics, and other visuals used for projects and announcements.
Depending on the project, artists may work from detailed references or be given creative freedom within a project's style and theme.
